A year or two ago I responded to our diocese’s online survey on synodality - I doubt that our diocese even put the survey out there - it was full of questions about those who feel marginalized by the Church…..pretty restrictive questions.
i attended an information gathering meeting at my parish. The questions were very vague and nothing that addressed the issues being discussed. I feel that is was an exercise to make the faithful think they had a say and that the information they said they wanted they had already determined was how the perople were to respond. A sham!
By the way Father Murphy as a layman I am of the common. priesthood. Do I not have the Holy. Do I not count. I draw your attention to Vatican II where the bishops said we're not to be considered as second class.
