He lied several times in this interview. He is contradicting statements he made in earlier interviews. That sinful path. He casts false aspersions on both his fellow bishops and Pope Francis. That sinful path. The scandal he is creating is misleading several people of good will, because people see a "humble" bishop "speaking truth to power." The opposite is true. I've listened to this closely and written down his words. Slow him down enough to listen to him? He comes across as both clueless and is a real long-winded bore.

There is nothing "uncharitable" about stating the truth, so that you, and others are not being deceived by the bishop. The most charitable thing I can do here is call him a liar, so that you are not taken in by him. He blatantly lies throughout, and misleads. But he has contradicted himself on previous statements he has made, that are easy to check out.
Compare what he has said here about why he was fired, in which he clearly states that he was never "officially" informed of the reasons with an interview he did on ETWN November 16th, with Raymond Arroyo, where he received a visit from the Papal Nuncio, who "read several pages of issues and concerns.”
So when he says he "thinks" he knows, he is lying. He knows if he can read. When he says he was never "officially" informed, he is lying. A visit from a Papal Nuncio with "several pages" is certainly "official." When he says that he was fired for saying it was because he said "truth doesn't change" his is lying.
When he says "There is really an agenda clearly from the Vatican and from Pope Francs to say the truth is changed,” he is lying. And slandering the Holy Father to boot.

He lied from the beginning to the end. He contradicted his very own statements in an interview he gave to Raymond Arroyo on November 16th. I have answered this in detail but my comment was "removed."

The fact is he has treated the Holy Father "abominably" and does so at every turn. He literally begged to be removed, and is probably quite relieved to be. He left the Holy Father with no choice. Now he can play "martyr" before every open mike he can find. Bet that's a lot easier than being an actual bishop.

Many of us growing up in South Africa during the 1960's had schooling in a Catholic Convent as there were so many missionaries here then. The Latin Mass was truly a Supernatural experience. I miss those days😢

It's not just the language. It's the adoration and awe in God is there. In the current mass, 99% it's not. Clapping, banal music, jeans in the sanctuary, priests telling bad jokes, etc. Etc. Etc.

There is nothing "faithful" about Bishop Strickland. He's more of a Judas than anything else.
It’s not simple. Bishop Strickland has a heart for the purity of the church. However, the radical right Catholic media has become a weapon for schism and he is listening to them. There’s lots of fake media surrounding Pope Francis, however, there are things he has done which cause confusion. So it’s both. But we must rest in Christ. He has His church.

As a Catholic and all that is going on in the Church, i believe my Faith is tested even more than ever before. It would be easier to leave the Church for what is happening but i do not serve Satan, I serve Christ and just as Satan tempted Christ to jump off the mountain he is also tempting Catholics to run from Christs Church. I am staying and I pray that Christ will give me the strength to ride out the storm or die if necessary for his Church. Satan is only for a short time, Christs Church is forever. I now go to the Traditional Mass because i find that Christ is very much there and until he shows himself again it is where i will remain. The fact that there are those within the Church that are trying to ban the Traditional Mass shows just how much it frightens Satan. Viva Christo Rey

I haven't seen Bishop Strickland give an interview in awhile. I was so pleasantly surprised by his gentleness and humility. I saw an interview with an Orthodox Priest and he was asked if the Orthodox Church was going to make changes to accommodate the alphabet community and the Priest said "what makes you think we have the authority to redefine what sin is?"

For the first time in a long time, Glenn Beck is the intellectual weaker at the table. The conversation about the TLM, the sacred nature of it and more broadly the whole Faith, had me emotional. I can't wait to join the Church this Easter. To God be the glory.

The conversation about the TLM filled me with horror. What Bishop Strickland said in his comparison between the TLM and Novus Ordo Mass was both sacrilegious and heretical. Further, considering that he has spent his whole life saying the Novus Ordo Mass, he has betrayed everything he has ever stood for.
You need to be very careful of the voices that you listen to as you take this wonderful step in your life.
Incidentally, though the Bishop continually talks about the "deposit of faith"? When asked directly what it was by Glen Beck? He proved himself a charlatan and to be utterly clueless. He had no idea what it was.
Simply, it is the "deposit" fully revealed by the time the last apostle died. Nothing more. Everything else depends on that.
It’s a sad day the Pope has removed Bishop Strickland, Cardinal Burke, and Cardinal Muller for being “too rigid to the faith” while promoting James Martin for performing gay blessings.

There is nothing more "miraculous" or "very special" or "truthful" about Mass in any particular language. Mass said reverently in any language has the same miraculous power. @@mrutherford5502 Pope Francis is doing that. I love the Papacy and even Pope Francis but there is something deeply sick about WHY Bishop Strickland has been silenced. He has spoken against gay men in the priesthood (the culture of it). I love all people of Good Will in the LGBTQ community but it is disordered to allow what is happening (I have personal first hand knowledge that what Bishop Strickland is saying is true in my own region).

Did you not feel horrified at how he compared the TLM with the Novus Ordo Mass? By denigrating the latter - which he himself has celebrated all his life - what he said was both sacrilegious and heretical.
No James, he was degrading either style of celebrating the Mass. No more than I would have said one form is more uplifting or reverent. What's important I truly belief that as long as the true fundamental consecrating is not altered the "style" in irrelevant. That's what I don't understand why Latin Mass would be encouraged or just allow. We are all in our own journey. Holy Spirit increase our Faith.

If this is not denigrating the Novus Ordo at the expense of the Latin Mass words have no meaning. It is nothing else but denigrating. Treacherous too, because this is the very Mass he has spent a lifetime celebrating.
The reason the Pope has issues with the Latin Mass is not because of the Mass itself. But how it is being weaponized by so-called "traditional" Catholics who look down their noses at the Novus Ordo, making precisely the same claim about the two as the Bishop here has.
The one thing the Bishop does say, over and over, which happens to be true, Marie, is when he says "I'm no expert." He's not. It horrifies me that he has such influence over people who should know better.

If only we’d be as faithful to the word of God as we are faithful to our religion. God hates religion because it separates us from the truth of Gods word. Religion is a man’s set of ideas….and many many times it contradicts God teachings. Were you taught to lay hands on the sick, and cast out devils? It’s a beginning fundamental of being a Christian, but many religions tell you only the pastor or priest is the only one who’s suppose to cast out devils. But…Mark 16:15-18 tells you something different. Matthew 10:6-8….it’s a command to a believer to take up where Jesus left off and finish His work. This is exactly what the disciples continued on with….Jesus’ work of restoring broken people.

I was blessed to have a Mother and Father deeply rooted in Catholic Faith who insisted I get a good Catholic education. I was blessed a second time to have Italian relatives the same. Again blessed a third time by Nuns who taught me from Grade school to High School and to an all Catholic Girls College. Loved every minute of it. The youngsters today, 2024, are searching and don’t even know what they are searching for. They need Jesus in their lives. If they put Him first then all else will fall in place.

The Catholic church always stood strong with its beliefs and now the Pope has opened a door to a slippery slope of leftist wokeness into our sacred church. So much of what is reported is a lie. The devil is working hard to separate Catholics from His Bride, the Church. Satan knows he can't separate the Head from the Body, so he's working hard to separate the faithful Body members from the Visible Head (the Pope).
Also, Lofton has already done a video looking at the conversation Glenn had with Taylor Marshall, if you're interested. I imagine he'll have a video on this interview, too.

He was asked the follow up question: "Was that the Papal decree that they sent you?" To which he responded "Yes." How more "official" does he need?
Incidentally, note how he throws both Pope Francis and his fellow bishops under the bus by falsely stating that he was fired for saying "truth doesn't change"? That is what they all believe. Strickland seems to think he has a monopoly on truth. But he is a longwinded bore. Who has lied so much he can't keep his story straight.

What "error" is he actually "correcting" Joseph? He is making false statements, false assertions and falsely implying others are in error while he himself is standing for "truth" but he lied right from the very beginning of this interview.
He is incredibly deceptive, in how he skirts the truth when not outright lying. When asked "why he was fired,"
He responded: “I've spoken out and said the truth doesn’t change. That’s the reason I needed to be removed.”
This is a lie. This is not the reason he was removed. In making this statement, he implies his fellow bishops who are not fired believe otherwise. No, they don't. He further stated that:
There is really an agenda clearly from the Vatican and from Pope Francs to say the truth is changed.”
That is also a lie.
When asked if he was ever told "officially" why he was fired, he said "no."
But this contradicts a previous statement he made on November 16th, in an interview on ETWN with Raymond Arroyo where he clearly stated that he was visited by the papal nuncio who "read several pages of issues and concerns.”
If a visit from the Papal Nuncio is not "official" I don't know what is. What do you bet "the truth doesn't change" wasn't listed in those pages?

For anyond wondering about the Traditional Latin Mass, if I had to put it in a nutshell, it takes the focus off the people and back on God, where it belongs. By the nature of this focus, it is more solemn, more reverent, more about what we owe to God, as our Creator, and Jesus, as our Savior.
Attending TLM completely changed my life, and I have practiced my faith since birth. I am far more aware of how immense God's mercy is now than I ever was before.
Why did I leave the Novus Ordo? For years my soul cried out for reverence and an escape from worship that was more Protestant than Catholic in its attitudes, its postures, and oof! Its music. Lex orandi lex credendi!

He is an "amazing shepherd" all right. He spends years banging on about the "deposit of faith" and when asked directly what is meant by that? He reveals himself to be utterly clueless. His remarks in comparing the TLM with Novus Ordo Mass are both sacrilegious and heretical. Thankfully, Pope Francis stepped in and removed him before he does even more damage to the Church, the Body of Christ.

I am former protestant turned Catholic 8 years ago. I became Catholic because of the deposit of Faith, the Church upholds the teachings of Christ and the Apostles in truth and charity. Also communion on the tongue, kneeling. This aspect in the Latin Mass is far superior to the distribution of the Eucharist in the Novus Ordo which is a liturgical abuse.

People don’t realize when they take the host in their hands,pieces of it falls to the floor and they trample on our Lord . They should END communion in the hands . @@boofish59I have also heard this objection to receiving on the tongue that it would cause spreading of germs. I don’t think it’s a valid argument. First, in all my years I have never felt a priest’s fingers touch my lips or tongue. If you see the process, the recipient tilts the head back and extends the tongue and the priest puts the Host on the tongue without touching lips or tongue. The priests are so used to this process they are very adept at it. Second, the Host should not be taken out of the Sanctuary which represents Heaven and into the nave which is the earthly realm. The communion rail is the boundary between the two realities; we approach and kneel to venerate the supernatural glory and majesty of this mystery of God made flesh. It is a modernist heresy to drag the body of Our Lord into the nave to be handed out by people other than priests with no care given to fragments.

I think Bishop Strickland appears to have forgotten that the Pope is the leader of the church. I think the Bishop would be more comfortable in a Protestant church with no pope. The Bishop is a clever man in some ways, in that he is sharing clear messages that the church hold and claiming them as his own and at the same time subtly twisting other messages in an attempt to destabilise the church. Luckily the pope is wiser and cleverer than him and understands the game he is playing. Ultimately, he repeats “it’s all about Jesus” “follow Jesus” but his hidden message is actually “follow me”

A lot of the problem with "this pope" arises from the dissenters who question every move he makes. They are going from one extreme to another in their criticisms and misleading the faithful. These include bishops such as Bishops Strickland and Vigano, priests such as Fr James Altman, and lay youtubers such as Taylor Marshall. Heavenly Father I come to you today I’m struggling, dear Lord. I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. I’m struggling to do it all, and I feel so alone. Lord heal my lupus and heart disease and continue to give me strength to keep going so I may watch my sons grow into men. Lord help me to find the help I need, whether it be financial, emotional, or spiritual.

Oh Glenn.. this was probably my favorite of all your interviews and believe me I watch many. I have my own opinion about our Pope. I won't get into all that now but the inspiration in this interview should be seen by everyone on the planet.
