Please see our Pre-Owned Terms for more details" Also, if your selling their watches, on your Website, your earning Commission, then this is an advert, no? as I didnt see that anywhere!
to be fair, it's easy to say that more "unique" watches and "higher end" watches haven't gone down in value, because there's not many on the market to begin with, so dealers will keep a high asking price, but it doesn't mean that they'll buy it from you at competitive prices...
Should be a lesson. Buy what YOU like and don’t sell it. Keep the opportunists and people that only see watches as investments, out of our market. If you only like the “expensive” or popular watches, or you’re buying it as an investment, you’re not a collector, you’re not an enthusiast because you don’t love watches.

At least be honest and admit you want to feature it on IG, sell it, make money, and buy the new trendy one. Not calling any names 🤣😂😎
People who love money and expensive items can also be watch enthusiasts... Most of the high end collectors love watches because theyre exclusive and expensive...Do you own any authentic watches? It's really annoying when people who can't afford the watches or do not own any luxury pieces have an opinion on everything...
@@jawidomerzai5101 No, nothing that comes close to this presentation. Couple stainless Rolexes, vintage speedy, and some smaller stuff, which I adore and will give away to someone I love before I sell them. Just me. Of course wealthy people are allowed to love luxury stuff. Love it for what it is/how rare it is. Go watch Kevin O’Leary talk about watches. Of course price-point is discussed, but he talks about what he loves/hates and never talks about “investment” because he doesn’t sell his stuff. There’s no way to know if these are holding their prices. They aren’t bought or sold on a regular enough basis to see them correct with the market in real time. Trust me, if that dude were to hold a public auction for those watches you would see those values go down real quick with public sales prices.

The reseller that talk about "crash" are the same that 5 months ago buy and sell watches overpriced of 40% with no reasons....and the watches survived the crash are the same they are selling in the video. UMBELIEVABLE! ahahah
It's great to see progress where you bringing experts but unfortunately the main discussion is around the dollars vs talking about what makes those watch exceptional. Having said that, from my opinion you are in the right path in terms of content. Thank you.
14:45, "I think they will", please state why you believe this when interest rates' rise is clearly the reason for the crash in watch values. I don't believe they'll be inflated for long, personal opinion. We'll see. Just be cautious about what bizarrely friendly in-condo/apt watch-dealers tell you.
To me Vacheron is the top then the rest. Glad they are holding well and picking up some traction as they should. Will be interesting to see what direction they take things. As for the market I think was a mix of people parking money and flipping.
Hate to break it to everyone....prices are still going down. We're not at the end yet...especially with inflation looking to double next year- shiny wrists just aren't a priority
You guys have been doing great watch, jet, boat, car, house and neighborhood videos. I love your channel a LOT. And, I wonder if you have any plan to highlight other parts of lux-living such as daily shopping or holiday. I do not have a very concrete idea here but I think it might be excellent if you can create another "type" of video.
All those nonsense watches, and then suddenly the no-nonsense Lange & Söhne. I love it. Most beautiful watch in this video. Thanks Michael! (And Adam).
Not the best guys to buy watches off if looking for a fair market price in my opinion. 6-7 others beat their price on the Patek World time I'm looking to purchase
I wish Michael did some reviews and discussions around independent brands like Moser, MB&F, etc…. They are becoming more and more popular and provide amazing v alue for money…

Not yet we have very long way to go
even these new "logical" levels make no sense and I love, understand, respect and study horology for quite some time now.
400K for a watch that looks like plastic.
400K for a Black ceramic watch, people got more money than sense.
Richard Mille watches look like cheap Chinese knock offs to begin with.
The people that wear them are the actual “tool”
@@wayneguy6043
Absolutely 💯 right
“They might shatter, but they are scratch resistant”- hell of a selling point
marketing at its finest
Well, as long as you don't drop it on a stone floor or bang it against something, it'll look brand new forever. That's the selling point.
Huge difference between shatter and a scratch 😂
It’s ceramic. All ceramic is very very scratch resistant, that’s why it’s used for Tiles. But if dropped the tiles would shatter.
Nothing is selling. The market hasn't crashed in the sense that prices haven't totally collapsed but there's zero consumer action.
to be fair, it's easy to say that more "unique" watches and "higher end" watches haven't gone down in value, because there's not many on the market to begin with, so dealers will keep a high asking price, but it doesn't mean that they'll buy it from you at competitive prices...
Incorrect. They are being dumped behind the scenes. You will see soon. The public market is usually a month behind what is happening between dealers.
Exactly. Ultra low liquidity market.

The watch market is gonna plummet another 20%, I’m a trading analyst for a hedge fund so take my word for it.
We’ll be seeing corrections in all markets
I doubt it.
World hops from one bubble to the next.
RM another rediculous watch
They look like a toy plastic watch
Way over hyped again I wouldn’t trade my 41ml Rolex OP
For any of those watches
HEY MICHAEL!!! Can we have an update on your private jet please??

Yup!
It’s a year later. The Vacheron perpetual calendar has lost more than half its value since this video.
Never been a AP fan, but that one with the purple dial was so so nice.
How can someone not be a fan of Audemars??? They literally have the nicest watches on the market, for true gentlemen and watch enthusiasts....

Vacheron Constantin is actually my favourite Watch Brand. Beautiful Watches.
Richard Mille watch prices are ridiculous.
I had one. Got it dirt-cheap.
I sold in massive profit. Good riddance.
RM is a joke for me...👎, for the same money you could have Vacheron, Lange and some spare left.
Adam, don't let them fool you - you're right, that dial IS sunburst!
I was looking through the comments for this hahah. It was definitely a sunburst dial!

Those Vacheron watches are just amazing, I myself rather have one over a Rolex or any luxury Brand
Love the vacheron overseas and AP Purple dial. Lots of love from Australia. Abs.
I must confess that even i am a collector of wrist watches, my favourite being automatic watches specifically Seiko 5 series, i have three of them!
These Israelis have cornered the watch market
Great to see an Overseas in a producer Michael video.
They ARE part of the holy trinity afterall.
What colour is your Bugatti?
It's not as if you've lost any money is it lol
The Richard Mille are horrible 💩🤮
How can those ugly AP be worth so much
That’s crazy
They aren’t, no one is buying. Same as those plastic RM watches.

You could buy an Aston Martin instead of that silly Mille watch... and a Porsche for the girlfriend for the change.
Give that some thought. 😛
Nice. Always the rarest survive in any market even in crashing one. :)
How come youtube has stopped sending me notifications regarding PM videos? - I had to google PM and check any new uploads.
Woo Hoo AL&S great watch to add to the collection Michael. Always wanted one - but wayyyyy to expensive for moi.
V-C is my new grail watch. Too expensive for me at the moment but love it.
RMs are today's tulips
400k for the ceramic AP and the screws on the caseback are misaligned
Give it 6-12 months, these will crash. China’s watch market is down 40-50%.
Great episode that VC Rose Gold overseas 😍
2 scammers haha
i am disabled from a brain heammorrage etc so what watches do you do for a disabled chap . i can only move my left finger.
RMs are gaudiest watches out there. They are true proof that you can be rich AND stupid.

I would do that for 2 reasons
No one will mug me

If a watch sells for 1 million $$$ and it drops to 700,000 $$$….the normal buyer wouldn't call that a crash.

I dunno usually when wealthy people start to bulk sell items like these, its because they are getting cash ready to buy in the stock market
