A Lange $ Sohne is absolutely exceptional. J$Co makes exceptional watches too, although some are more automaton than watch, but that is indeed also part of classic watchmaking.

It’s not like he bought a grand complication or anything. Zeitworks are cool and very impressive, but there’s definitely still better watches out there.
It looked stunning on the wrist, Michael won't regret this. In my opinion one of the greatest watches ever made by one of the last true watchmakers.
On the AP watch, the Blue & Yellow version was built for the European Ryder Cup team (Euro Flag is Blue and Yellow) that are sponsored by AP (I believe 4 of the 12 players are sponsored by AP). They did a Red/White and Blue version for 2 of the US team players that are also sponsored. Great looking pieces

It’s a truly rare insight, comparable to only, possibly, visiting a watch museum. Its indisputably one of the most expensive hobbies one can have, however presented tastefully and with love and respect for the art itself.
He seems like such a genuinely nice guy. I’m glad he’s enjoying himself. True, family and health are far more important than watches or cars but if you have it all nothing wrong with that.

@@kisary4962 the fact noone knows it just makes it even better. Only loser buys watches solely to impress others. The watch is hand finished by one of not the top watch brand. It has a minute repeater and analog time window which makes the design look so clean. Nothing like it and absolutely one of the best watches money can buy

I appreciate his authenticity as much as his naïveté . What I get out of his channel is the ability to experience watches that I would otherwise never see and watch him experience them probably with the same awe and reverence that I hope I would. Bravo PM great video.

The baffling mystery is not just RM watches are hideous, its how they managed to convince people to spend 500K on their watch made of rubber and nearly impossible to tell the time and it's only been around for less than 20 years as a company.

25 dollar Timex Indiglo watch, hasn't failed me yet and costs nowhere near what these do. I couldn't fathom spending more than a couple hundred on any watch!

Michael has talked about the Zeitwerk a few times, so it's cool to see him get one. I can relate. The hunt is half of the fun, and not trying to be a jerk, but according to him, it's one of his favorite watches, but he didn't know that the time display was numerical?
🤣I thought that was the appeal of that watch. Very rare and difficult complication. I'm not aware of another one.
Love to hear Michael talk about his likes and dislikes in watches. Not monetary value or hyped watches that everyone else likes, but just his taste, $ aside. Don't know if he's done that.

Love, love, love the watch you bought. A.Lange & Sohn is such a great watch. The Reverso was also very, very cool. Also enjoyed the Rolex Pecachu (?). Loved the strap with the dial color combination. For the price, the Corum bridge was exceptional.

Like the pieces shown here. The Richard Milles always interest me as a grail watch (along with the Zeitwerk seen here), though the 11.59 has to be one of the watches I am genuinely interested in.

The Zeitwerk is a true grail watch....amazing design, unique execution, and pristine mechanics.
Michael with your vast watch collection you can afford to give up a few and get something you really enjoy. Please trade in some of your watches and buy the platinum AP. It would be a wonderful video to watch. By the way the Lange you brought is spot on beautiful.
