- Hey guys! In today's video we get the Rough Country 3" Vertex Suspension installed on my 2021 F-150. This is just the beginning of what's to come with this truck. Stay tuned for all of our outdoor adventures, product reviews, and more.
During this install, they installed the following:
Rough Country Vertex 3" Suspension: www.roughcount...
Toyo Open Country A/T III: www.toyotires....
I will be doing a full review of these once I have some time/use with them.

Hope you all enjoyed this video and thanks for stopping by!
It will help you to keep out of the mud. I watch a channel called trail recon and they go everywhere around the country.
Cool thanks! I’ll check them out 👍
So it's been a year how does it ride today?
😂 I was just about to say this. Did he upgrade the wheels and tires come on we need an update 🎉
I approve of this video
Thank you! Lots more to come 👍
@@buildhuntxplore Any follow up on this suspension? How does it ride compaired to stock on a soft setting like 1 or 2?
@buildhuntxplore how are the CV angles and geometry with this kit? Any future video or updates of the lift and ride? Cheers
What do your cv axels look like?
Do I have to compress or decompress any spring to install the new ones?
Not really. You might just have to flex them a bit while getting it in the mount. But that can be done by hand with a tool for leverage.
So cool you are local. Bolton and James.
Great people!
Looks like the stock block is added, is it level or there's a rake?
I want my truck bit high on the back.
It has very little rake now, but the front is adjustable. So, you can lower it some to give you more take as desired. I had it adjusted on the higher end because I wanted the truck more level. I think I’ve got about 3/4”-1” rake now.
Nice that's all I need..
@@buildhuntxplore I just installed these and it’s a little nose low compared to the coilovers these with. I’m curious about how many threads you have showing on your height setting. Looked like around 10 in the video. If so, how’s it riding?
I am very curious to hear about the CV angles on this kit.... Can you please give us some insight on that???
Mine were at a bad angle had to have it lowered, overall very disappointed in this lift. I regret doing it 3k for something that drove better with a $200 level kit. I have a 2018 F150
@@damonphalin6023please tell me more I am thinking of getting the vertex coil over 3in lift on my 2018 ford f150! Should I just go with the fox 2.0 or bilsteins?
@@fratdaddy7434I’m gonna have mine lowered again and see if that smooths out the ride. Overall just rides rough.
So what youre saying is itll take me 3 minutes to install my next lift kit? 🤣 just kidding! She looks great!
🤣 yep! Thanks! Lots to come with this truck.
Looks nice 👌,
How is the suspension ride feel..
Who else make 3" suspension lift kit like this?
What size are the new tires?
They are 285/75R17, right around 33 inches tall
How are the cv angles?
Looks great, what was the final cost of the install?
Thanks! Suspension, tires, labor would all come to about $4,500 to have this done.
Does the upper control arm or spindle come into contact with the coil-over with this kit?
I think it's pretty generic you have to put on the sticker of the rear shock
