I just love your short and commercial free videos!! Two questions for you. I have Mignon Silenzio, the portafilter fork is too loose and since I am using bottomless portafilter, when i started grinding, my portafilter moves around and I get a lot of coffee fall off of my portafilter. Do you have any options for different portafilter covered with non slipery rubberish material? Second, since I am using grinder as single dosing grinder, i have to keep pushing the grinding start button. Do you have any material that i can stick to grinding start button so my portafilter stays where it is supposed to stay? One last question is, my portafilter fork is very loose and it is only in place with small magnetics inside the grinder. Do you have a better way of hold the portafilter in place? Thank you!!
I am having a hard time putting on my fork portafilter holder. I wish you had a video on how to put it on. Mine just gets stuck. I feel like it is tricky.
Hi.. I find the maximum timer (around 15 secs) will not reach 18-19 grams of coffee for silenzio. How can I increase the duration timer if it is possible??
If you're referring to the 18g dose vs 20g dose, that would be based on basket size. Most double baskets are made for an 18g dose and most triple baskets are made for a 20g dose. Using too little can result in extra channeling. Too much and the portafilter may not fit in the machine. Hope that helps! - Charles
Does it only work/grind when the ports filter holder is inserted? Because I lost mine when I bought it and it doesn’t work, so I’m wondering if it’s because the ports filter is not inserted or if the whole machine is faulty

It is a bit tricky! Put it at a steep angle, that will help!

You may be grinding too fine. The finer the grind, the longer it will take to reach the desired amount. I hope this helps.
Why adjusting the dose when between two numbers? Is this anyhow an issue? Thank you

Yeah exactly what i thought! This is a stepless grinder. It makes absolutely no sense!

Just tried it on my own. It works without the holder inserted. Maybe your dial is set out of range?
it's a nice grinder but that
grind setting is tuff maybe a different design is needed
The only down side of the grinder IMO (Two pennies)
