Thanks for the videos. So the rear differential and transfer case use the same type of fluid 75w90 ? Is one quart enough for the rear and transfer case?

BTW I am buying a 23 Rav4; have you had any problems? You use the your Rav4 offroad more than most so I am curious if anything has broken. Keep adventuring!

Mine is 2019 it has 163k miles on it still run like new to me so far nothing broken yet. My Rav4 is very well maintained except for the paint 😂

What were the tools you are using? Can you share products links where I can purchase them? I tried using a 3/8 flex head ratchet and 10mm hex bit socket but was unable to remove the fill plug. For sometime I got the ratchet stuck while removing the fill plug which got released for few tries.

Rav4 is only in AWD or FWD they don't do 4WD.

I heard the hybrid models take transmission fluid not the thick gear oil for the rear transfer case …

Does this need to be done on FWD rav 4 models as well? And what size silicone tube was attached to the Syringe that you used to put the transfer case oil in.

FWD don't have transfer case only AWD gas model

When the fluid start gripping in the fill hole it means that you have the right amount of fluid in the transfer case.
