Dillon, check out - Bearded Brad, Bama Beach Bum, Southern Salt, Yakin with Jack, and Bama Saltwater on RUclips (these guys LIVE on the Gulf Coast) and will show you all sorts of techniques for catching salt & fresh water fish in the Alabama/Florida area. Fishing on the Gulf Coast ISN'T like fishing in New Jersey! As you found out in this video, 75% of the time atificial lures don't work along these beaches.

At least here at Gulf Shores area, fish still have not been hitting top water (frequently). Have been using slow retrieving lures like spoons and soft plastic swim baits.

Try slowing the retrieval done, the vs150 picks a lot of line on a reel. I like how you are using the drone to locate…. Using that to pot hop, so you can sneak up on mahi… great content
