Lived in Navarre for about 5 years now. Which side of the pier do you think is the best for fishing from the beach? Enjoyed the video. Have a great spring!
Do you scope out the maps of the areas before you go fishing so you'll know of any troughs running parallel to the beach since fish hold in them? Or do you just go fish? I ask since your line can deteriorate where it come into contact w/ the sand bars. You sure got a good variety of bait.... that's the way to make sure the bases are covered. Again, thanks for the videos
Ahh, you've done this so long(fishing) that you've acquired all types of boats & electronics, heck man, you show up w/ almost enough baits to start of bait store.... lol, you've probably spent enough money to have a string of them as well but I digress. I understand about beach fishing & how the sand bars change, I kinda though you might have been out in your kayak & lined up the tides w/ whatever else that's running right now. Pompano are some fun fish. I do like to see aggressive fishermen who go to win. peace
@@TheLawlessTide great I’m getting my notes I’ve been out last year with hometown 120 tried surf fishing last year with my dad’s old rods but nothing real good for surf fishing . Luckily I still get fish to eat from family and friends. Georgia trout . Panama Panama wahoo. And graham at shrimpers dating my youngest brother daughter so been good with him cooking fish , crab and crawdads .
Those were some beautiful pompano fish. I watched a RUclips video regarding the taste of saltwater catfish. The gentleman claimed that the sail catfish was more delicious than the average freshwater catfish and the other species of saltwater catfish was comparable to the average freshwater catfish. Why do folks around the gulf not care for these fish if they’re delicious? I know that cleaning them is a bit more time intensive. I’m genuinely curious to know your opinion on this Mr. Lawless.
i love your videos but there should be clear disclaimer, " do not be disappointed if you do not catch fish when you got out, Location location location"
Awesome..... Okaloosa island pier for me this Thursday..... leaving after work on Wednesday.... hopefully pomps and Spanish are there....
Good luck!
Finally fishing is starting to pick up!. Caught some whiting today surf fishing.

I will be in Navarre in 2 Weeks...Can't wait to sling some Lead...!!

I do more map scouting for kayak spots. The sand bars and holes along the beach change so frequently you cant trust a satellite photo.
