Thanks for watching - I really appreciate it! I have more videos that show other fishing spots in the PCB area if you want to look around. My videos from last year are more detailed and show driving directions. My set up was the Penn Battle III combo - it’s a 3000 reel on a med/light 7’ rod with 20 lb braid and a 30 lb leader. I got it at Half Hitch Tackle - LOVE that place! They have setups that aren’t too expensive and will spool your reel while you wait. The smaller (3 inch) gulp was the only thing that worked for me this year. I hope you have a great trip - let me know how it goes! Tight lines my friend!
Your in front of my friends house. I work on the Naval base across from you. The Lizard fish this time of year are horrible. I switch to the DOA when that happens. ATB -S
I love that area - can’t wait to get back. I have never used the DOA - need to get some! Thanks so much for watching, I really appreciate it! Tight lines my friend!
I have seen them used - they look great. I only get to fish the flats like that once a year so tail biters are a treat for me lol. I plan to retire in 30 months and move to the Carolina’s with a boat - so I’ll need to use different baits for sure! Thanks for the suggestion 😎😎.
Nice to see out of town man having some fun man . I have families in that area man . What ever that fish was had to be big to break you off like that man . Question when you was in the water what footwear was you wearing? How long was your drive to Florida? Did you drive it barefooted 👣 ? You have a good vacation & drive safely back home my barefooted 👣 friend .
Thanks so much for watching - I really appreciate it! That’s cool that you have family in that area - we love it there! I wear water shoes to wade in the grass - I think they are Ocean Pacific. The drive is about 13 hours - it’s a long one for sure! Sorry - I wear shoes when I drive 😊😊 - I don’t have the “foundation” that you have 😉😉. Thanks again my barefoot amigo 👣👣
Great video!
Will be down in that area in a couple weeks. What was your rod/reel/line setup?

@@andrewdixon8612 Your welcome. The DOAs are cheaper and more durable. I go back to the Gulp when the tail bitters aren't as bad.

Will a non resident saltwater fishing license work for the bay fishing area
Thanks for watching - I really appreciate it! Yes - that’s what I always get. It covers the bay and the surf - hope that helps and good luck!
