I absolutely love this movie. Would've had a stronger impact if the animation seeies continued. Could've linked all of the characters and events leading to Legacy
A stand in character, as far as I'm aware this trailer was made exclusively for comic con fans, it was likely a mismash of early development ideas. A lot of the direction/blocking and even pacing found in moments of the theatrical lightcycle game can be picked up on here, as well as a few specific cornerstone/iconic shots
This trailer and the reaction still gives me goosebumps! Just a shame that the movie itself wasn't very good. It looked great and the soundtrack was amazing but the story paled in comparison to the original.
I think the timeline of this trailer is between the events of Tron Uprising and Tron Legacy.

I won't argue with this. What I will say though is the Tron franchise is one area where I'm perfectly fine with style over substance 😆
