2023 Colorado 2nd Rifle OTC Public Land Bull Elk Hunt

After many years of unfortunate luck my hard work and continued dedication pays off as Eric and I set out for an OTC bull elk. I've hunted this Colorado OTC unit for a few years now with very close calls. It's a fantastic feeling being able to put it all together on my first bull elk.
Disclaimer - the only reason I was comfortable taking the shot I did at 550 yards was because I was shooting a 300-Weatherby Mag. I’m very confident in that shot. The hit was lethal and the bull didn't go more than 100 yards from the first hit. Thanks for watching!
