I’m good friends with Jason back here in Virginia. Jason reached out to me to go get processed meat from the butcher shop because he was out of town and the butcher shop needed it gone due to space. That meat was from the biggest Buck he shot here in va. I think some weeks went buy and I finally meet up with him. He’s a down to earth guy and very genuine. I wouldn’t know this story about Jason if this podcast hadn’t happen. Jason, brother your a strong person and I’m always here for you. I’m one phone call away. Thanks for sharing your story and thanks Lee for putting this together.

Never commented on a video before love watching all your content. This podcast hit home with me lost my dad in a mining accident with him standing beside me. Been down some dark places after but knowing god and going out a keep hunting what me and him loved to do helps keep his memory alive and now can pass it on to my three children. Thanks for all you do for the hunting industry keep putting the big deer on the ground watching from southern West Virginia.

Great story. Love to hear people openly sharing their faith. I have no fear of death because it is the gateway to my eternal home. Now I do hope it’s something that where I go to sleep and don’t wake up or I don’t see a big truck coming that runs a red light and takes me out instantly. But, I don’t get to choose the time or place. I lost my Mammaw when I was 9 that I was really close to and then my best friend when I was 12. I guess I understood death at an early age. Now as a pastor (work full time as well), I am around families during a death. Everyone handles grief differently and I don’t know if we ever really get used to it. It’s natural, and we need to process it so it doesn’t continue to tear us down. What doesn’t kill you now will eventually if you don’t deal with it.
I do want to live long enough to see my daughter graduate college and youngest son graduate high school. I really enjoy time with my granddaughter (oldest son’s). I look forward to getting to take her hunting. At one time in my life, I lived in an area of Arkansas that had big deer, and I killed a couple on the 80 acres my dad and I leased. The best times were when my daughter wanted to go and we would sit in a blind for 30 minutes or an hour or two. I would not make her stay longer than she wanted to. Just a few snacks and enjoying the time together. Like I enjoy spending time in the woods setting up blinds for my dad that will be 79 this year. It’s not about how much time necessarily but what we make of the time we have.

Great Podcast guys! Jason Whitlow... Listening to the loss you've gone through is heartbreaking! It's so similar to what I've gone through. From April 1st of 2015 to October 26th of 2016 I lost my brother, three months later my mom, and a year and 3 months after my mom passed my dad lost his fight with cancer.
Our Father in Heaven allows us to go through these times for reasons we may not know right away, but it brings us closer to him and gives us the strength to live through Jesus Christ! God Bless You Jason!

Maybe the best Podcast I have listened to in a long time...... I enjoyed the stories of deer hunting, (As a cop of almost 30 years) was upset over the way the officer did you on the permission..."So not right", and hurt with you over the story of your Mother and Father..... So GLAD to know that they were fellow believers.... You will see them Again.... (Remember this " Thieves don't break into empty houses" Satan doesn't attack those who never pose a threat to him.... Stand true to your beliefs and be the witness God created you to be..... If you are in Chattanooga and want to hunt... Come on, LOL but we can't hunt over corn.... Loved the story....

The more I watch and listen to you guys I really enjoy just how genuine you guys are. I actually ran into Yappy at a local bow shop a couple weeks ago and just got to witness for myself just how down to earth the whole group of you guys seem! Such a stellar group of guys. Hope to have that myself someday. Keep up the good content guys. Maybe I’ll run into you guys someday!

When I was 15 years old got permission to bow hunt a woods on a chunk of gas company property. My teacher got me a hand written not and I hunted it for the year. The reason i wanted to hunt there was because there were 3 bucks I watched all summer one was a giant 6x6. So I go in one day after school and I jump a deer off this point and it runs out through the field and gets smoked by a car. It was the 6x6.

The end of this story reminds me of the story of Job in scripture where God and Satan were having a conversation about testing Jobs faith and Satan says to God that “your golden child Job over there is only faithful because he has many head of cattle and a lovely family and lives a fruitful life, I bet that if he lost all of those things that he would curse your name” God says to Satan “you may test Job but spare his life”. And so Job lost his children, cattle, money and everything he even got boils all over his body but he never once cursed Gods name and stayed fruitful in the spirit even when his wife told him to curse Gods name and die for the things happening to him. And he replied to his wife “But Job replied, “You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?”

I'm 47 yrs old. I grew up in the early stages of realtree, Jackie bushman, mossy oak days.i grew up living those hunts. I'll say this. I could not tell you who the tv guys are these days. Because i quit watching and caring. Because these guys have turned hunting into a foodplot, big buck only, farm deer, box stand hunting world. Makes me sick. I grew up learning how to hunt. How to track and outsmart old bucks. And does. I have over 20 deer on my wall over 150".i have over 20 antler mounts 120"-140". That being said. Every one of those deer were tracked and uncontless hours, days, weeks, months and years worth of hard work. I hunt from the heart its spiritual. Guys have lost the true meaning of hunting. All of my deer have been taken on public land. Or knock on door. I've never paid one red cent to hunt. All that being said. I found lee and his seek one videos 2 years augo. After watching him. I can tell lee realy loves it as much asi do. I can not say that about any other human on earth other than my brother and me. I've never met lee. But i would like to one day. Just to sit down and tell some stories. I'll bet i can spark his interest. He's a real deer hunter. Lee if you read This.i support your channel and your love for the hunt. Jason from arkansas.i would love to sit down and tell you some stories and show you some of my lifetime of memories.
