The Frog Stomp looks like the sort of thing that would be endearing if the band was any good. Natalie Merchant dances like Elaine Benes, and it's part of her charm. When you're a mediocre Xennial dad rock band, you don't get to have weird dance moves.
Their singer looks like that Hannah Gadsby chick.
I personally really don’t care if I see a band set up/pack up their own gear, but I guess I’m from a different world being from the DIY punk scene where it’s a necessity!
In regard to Rex Viper; they seem to be in a rather unenviable position. They’re total beginners but due to James’s previous internet fame, their sucky nascent stage has been highlighted for all to see. As you know already; you only get better by rehearsing and gigging frequently which they don’t seem to be doing at the moment, but who knows, maybe in a couple of years and with a bit of experience under their belt, they may become a half decent band?*
*Emphasis on “half”
>bassist pulls out set list right before they're supposed to start
Lmao
Maybe they should add Michelle Matei to the band. He can dress up as Loco Bandido.
Silverchair are fully aware of this Frogstomp! 😮
It's StickerBUSH Symphony.
