@@DoctorDewgong It's sad but also maturity shouldn't be taken so seriously, we got bills to pays and an entire shit load of worries to carry, but we must not forget our inner child needs to be let out from time to time. I always try to play Skyrim when holidays come, every year when the first snow falls it reminds me of when I was walking trough the snowy mountains of Skyrim. I also live in a mountainous rural area so it's really making me nostalgic for Skyrim during the winter. But remember, it's not only the game it's the fact that you were a kid and your imagination made things 100x better.

@@TheKonnoisseur11 the date was December 22, 2013. I was stationed in Area 4: Deagu, South Korea. I went to the local game store and found Skyrim on the shelf. I remembered my friends back senior year of high school talking about how cool Skyrim was and felt the urge to waste a day off with some mindless gaming on a new game. I played Oblivion back in Middle School and had fond memories of it, so I decided to give Skyrim a try.
Skyrim’s opening blew my mind away and I instantly fell in love with the World of Skyrim. First time hearing “Secunda” play was right after I accepted the quest “The Golden Claw” from Lucan in Riverwood. I was climbing up Bleak Falls Barrow when the Sun had set. My first time experiencing nighttime in Skyrim and then “Secunda” started to play. I remember vividly that it was snowing in the game while climbing up the mountain and I glanced out the barracks window and saw that it was also snowing outside in real life too. And I thought, “Now this is gonna be a great memory to look back on someday.” And this is the first time I’ve looked back on that day, so yeah. It came full circle.
It reminds me of my uncle since I first played skyrim on his computer. It was unlike any videogame I had ever played at the time in terms of graphics and type (RPG where you can talk to basically everyone). I was so blown away

Was thinking a similar thought. I never had regrets about my choices; always thought things would work out and I’d be stronger for it. Still waiting for things to pan out like I worked for em to and starting to have regrets and second guess my decisions. Helps to sit back to this music and ponder.

In the end, I'll have memories of walking the forests surrounding Riften with the music giving me a hug along the way, which is more than enough. When starfield comes out i'll enjoy being on a moon alone looking at the stars with the music doing the same thing. During covid isolation Skyrim saved my life, it gave me adventure during those times of fear mongering on every corner of the internet and couldn't find a source of positivity. So I unplugged my PC, booted up my xbox series console and escaped into Skyrim like I have never done before in a video game....literally feeling like I'm in that world, walking everywhere and enjoying the fantasy sim before me.
Anyone who is reading this, tough times are always ahead but as long as you find something to focus on to take breaks in between the chaos you will make it through.

You can literally just go to the actual woods and feel even better. Make a little fire to rest by. No music, just sounds of nature. If you can make your fire next to a creek or river that's a plus. The babbling of a river or crook is so soothing

My dad just passed away (seen him almost every single day of my life for 26 years) which was a huge hit to me... and now i'm fighting my crazy uncle, almost physcially, to try and clean the house up while also dealing with the process with my dad. Not the lowest I've been in my life, but I'm hurting a lot.
This music made me feel a little better, as horrible as things are right now... thank you.

My bro and I always shared a bedroom growing up. I still remember waking up on cold mornings to the sound of him playing Skyrim, so many times I woke up to Secunda and many times i went back to sleep to it. Ever since there not a night i dont fall asleep to a skyrim playlist.

I've struggled with Mental Health and ADHD, and the message here for some reason just gave me home to keep going. My struggles, the permanent debuff and curse effects that's on me may be terrible, but it's also an experience multiplier. It challenges me to do things differently, to seek out solutions and find unconventional strats to deal with life's circumstances.
Hopefully, one day, I can say I have a good life despite this permanent debuff, or maybe through learning to live despite of this debuff, I gain a new buff: Mental Resiliency or some kind of mental health buff.
Kinda silly, but it's a thought that oddly gives me some hope.
The fact this Playlist features music from skyrim stands as an absolute testament to it being a timeless game, and I'm still playing almost 14 years after it was made
I happen to not play games newer than GTA V. Feels tasteless to me for a reason. And I'm completely not captivated by graphics and so on.

my brother and i have always been polar opposites, him being 10 years older didnt always help, but we were always there for each other and could always bond over videogames. i remember when skyrim came out, we went out to buy it and booted it up on the console in his room. he let me play until late and when i had closed the game, he was already asleep. weve grown distant in the past few years, me in my early 20ies starting out my adult life and him having already started a family in his early 30ies. i will never forget all the fun we had as kids with oblivion and skyrim and i will always cherish these memories. love u bro

Secunda reminds me of how life used to be before COVID, was one world completely different, more peaceful, without bigger worries, but now, everything is so intense, i have to think for me and for others, and for the loved ones, i worry about my future, as a person, and my future sons, of how they will grow up, if they will be great persons, if they will change the world somehow... I don't know if this is because i grew up or its just this moment that we are living, but i can't miss the thought that, someday, life was easier...
my only advice for whom read this is: take your time, live your life, enjoy the laughs, cry the tears, because this moments will be blown by time...

Like many others here im tired of running but also tired of hiding but thats all some can do in this world now. Many of times i wish I could finally relax then sadly I'm reminded why I can't stop. Yet more often than not i wish i no longer hide away for my own mental health. But for those joining us remember life will find a way for you to relaxe and settle down and start something. Maybe not now or soon but it will come so keep the hop and don't think you have nothing because you always do. Try to leave your kindness and hope where ever you can and remember that your travels will come to a end eventually.

These last few years have been *rough* for me. And now, my like only friend is going into senior year and its being so weird. I decided to drop out halfway through freshman after years of fighting hard to make it work when it just... didnt, and so its being surreal to not go back when, for the longest time, I thought I would. Things have been rough lately, feels a bit like Im back to square one, completely on my own basically every day, but things have also been much worse before. This time last year I would be thinking "whats the point" when things get weird and bad, but I dont think that anymore. I wonder what the point is, but I know there is one. Ive felt directionless for so long, I used to feel lost, but now I feel... free? Full of potential. If that makes sense. Maybe things'll be alright.
