Honoring the Blessed Mother as Queen of Heaven isn't idolatry since it isn't worship of her, nor is it equating her to the Creator. We went to Roman Catholic Churches that celebrate via the Eastern Orthodox rite but report to Rome. These were Ukrainian Churches mostly. fully agreed. I'm an atheist myself, in spite of my very religious family tree. Yet I find music and songs like this my favourites, for there is something in them which extends and dare I say trancends oneself.
Regardless of belief these are sounds which transcend the universe. Religion is essentially enlightened individuals around the world throughout history, having their words interpreted or misinterpreted. There is something bigger, we just give it different names.

You all start to join in one after another. Your armor is getting heavier with ever step, taking away your breath, you cloth are soaking wet. There's many, many more, in both columns, we could fill in. Religion has been a net loss for humanity. If we are supposed to kill and die "for our beliefs", there are much better belief systems we could kill and die in the name of.
