Imagine being some young peasant boy and seeing the column as it marches past... A few of the bedraggled men smile as they notice you standing along the muddy roadside. Others telling you to hurry back to your home for this is no night to be out while one of the leaders stops and asks you what village lies yonder.
I often think how formidable the Templars must have been, as Knights each one would have been trained to kill from childhood, they could afford the best equipment and had the religious zeal to boot. Truly formidable warriors, stabbed in the back by a corrupt system. This is beautiful, thank you.
@@randomestchannel To my knowledge the order of the templars first formed in the high middle ages around 1100 A.D. with it's main purpose being the protection of pilgrims on their long road from their places of origin in and around Western Europe to Jerusalem in Palestine. Slowly but steadily over the years, the order gained influence in trade along the travel routes they originally just protected from raiders and pirates. Consequence of their initial purpose, the templars were always a military order to some degree, however their military power grew in unison with their financial and political influence, soon rivaling even worldly kingdoms such as France as well as the Papal States of Italy. Eventually I believe, they were becoming a threat to the established powers and a conspiracy formed, with the intention of shattering the order, claiming the riches it had accumulated over decades and centuries and ultimately hunting down, arresting and executing the templars. The smashing of the order was justified with accusations of sodomy, heresy and the likes. The grand master of the order as well as many of his brothers were forced to confess to these crimes under torture, after which they were executed. It is said, that the grand master ultimately invalidated his confession, before cursing the Pope and the French king with his dying breath. Interestingly, both of them died in the next 5 years. The order was officially dissolved in 1312 by Pope Clemens the 5th. This is a quick write up I did off the top of my head, therefore it may not be entirely accurate. You can read more about the Templars on Wikipedia. PS.: The Templars were just one, although the biggest and most famed, of many christian military orders of the middle ages. They're not synonymous with the crusades.

I was an atheist in the past, but thanks to a person who talked about God with me, using words different from the words everyone used to fight with me for being an atheist, I came to believe and realize the true presence of God in my life. That person talked about science, and when I said that God did not exist, the person told me that God does not need to exist, because it was God who created the concept of existence. God is infinitely beyond the laws of the universe and we are not able to understand the presence of God, but God is who he is, even though we, mere beings in the universe, are not able to understand this. I may not understand, but I feel the presence of God. I am infinitely grateful to the person who explained this to me, because he saved my life......

Ignore the other folks down there. The holy text preaches peace and peace is what the world desperately needs. I don't think god or however your religion would call him would mind if you were, jewish, catholic or muslim as long as you lived your life as a good person.
I think they have the same gods but different prophets
Cool that you listened to your viewers. Mad respect.
Of course friends, followers are the first
Yes have u problem???
I imagine myself how hard it was to be alive during these ancient times. The comfort zones were very scarce, very scarce.
I sense a promising future in this RUclipsr
Oh! Do you really mean it? I was excited to read your comment, thanks to comments like yours encourage me to continue with the channel. Thank you very much indeed, welcome to your home!
@@PlayingEpic I'm sure he does because I feel the same way! Thank you for sharing this music.
I closed my eyes.. It was darkness for a moment.. Until i felt the rain coming down.. The coldness wraps my being.. I march.. Chanting as my brothers before me.. On the way to the holy land.. I wondered.. is this what my ancestor saw that day.. Go on.. close your eyes and you will see..
Merci pour cet hommage à nos Templiers 🙏
Deus le veult ✝️⚜
Merci, mon ami
✝️ salutations D'Espagne!!
When he returns many will tremble at his sword , like fire , like a lion.
people asked and you delivered. Exactly as we imagined. Thank you for this gem.
Thanks to you, I am happy creating content for my followers, I don’t earn money because copyright but I earn happiness 😜
Everytime I feel like the internet is a depraved, vile, irreparable cesspool, I remember that this exists, and that makes me feel better
Thank you dear God for the horses. They bore the burden of carrying these devoted men from Europe to the Holyland and back.
He saw a comment "Dude, you should've added in stomping sounds like they're walking and horse neighs every once in awhile" and he made a video with them. Thats cool.
Haha, thanks my friend¡
Thanks you ¡¡¡
May God bless us all. Amen.
Bro this sound's fucking great nice work man
Thanks you friend¡ i am very happy reading your comment
Curse is a sin, please stop
Brothers, I'm here again. Needing the prayers of many to be freed from the chains of this world
This is so awesome to a practising Catholic like me who loves music and studying crusader history! Pluss I'll be learning Latin this year!
Praise Our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope you can attend the Traditional Latin Mass!
Props to the cameraman for going back and recording this.
This is absolutely awesome I've ever heard in my life time. Feel like I was marching with them along. We need this kind of music in the store and buy them. It's so beautiful I ever heard. Wow!! 😎🙏💗
Thanks you very much¡¡¡
I am an ordained Full Knight in my Templar Organization and every time I run across this video, I envision myself being with my medieval brothers going off to war against the enemies. This is hypnotically awesome and fuses my kinship with my fallen Brothers of yesterday and today. Deus Vult ⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️
This stirs up something primordial in me.
Thanks you for follow me
@@PlayingEpic thanks for the dope music!
"Not unto us Lord, but unto you be the victory"Pslam 115 as sung by the Templars as they went to battle.
21:53 sends chills down my spine, in a good way.
yesss, i used to listen to this everyday but then the title got changed and i couldnt find it until now! thanks for adding the horses playing epic, i was there 3 years ago when the request was made on the original video, the throwback
This always happen to me,but I sadly rarely find the video after, glad for you
oh wow you actually took that one comment to the heart. Nice to see that.
❤️
Bro wtf, I was listening to this and suddenly I was making swords for Templars in their camps-
Seriously though, amazingly done! Truly relaxing to study, fall asleep and be at peace in general. Marvelous creation!
When the singing starts I imagine the camera panning to different shots and then changing scenery to a gigantic crusader camp
Oh yes, me too
Both videos are special in their own way, it is awesome that you take feedback and suggestions. Keep going!
Thanks¡¡¡ welcome to your home
I listen to this most everyday. Thank you for your time and energy in creating this magic. God bless!
2 years later Playing Epic, we summon you. you have provided us with great devotion and direction in your sharing of song. however we are still hungry for more. bless us if you would be so kind
When men only used swords and shields had to be the most badass times.
no toilet paper
@@keopsps3474 even better
No internet
Can we take a moment to appreciate the fantastic sync at 16:55?? That really gave me the need to go on a crusade. Thanks Playing Epic. DEUS VULT!!
What song is it anyway? I love it!

Thanks. I was waiting for more templar music . GOD save us!!!
Thanks my friend, follow me for more, i am creating more
slept so good, I found myself defending the walls of Acre.
" God is infinitely beyond the laws of the universe" is therefore no different from a non existent God, you were right the first time.
@@jonfox8010 It's literally not
Planning my dnd party encountering a crusades of sorts specifically to play this during a session
Its sad to think the Templars were betrayed by King Philip IV of France, and the rest of Europe.
Where are the whinnies, the snorts, the ear splitting cry of two stallions getting just a little too close to each other and the reprimand of his rider? That would be the icing on the cake!
El tema es una maravilla, me hace recordar las procesiones de semana santa en la que se cruzaba por potreros, siempre lloviendo y escuchando al párroco en medio de música de lamentos.
Awesome remember sleeping while I marched 20 klicks.. this reawoke that memory.. powerful 🙏
Deus Vult!
Love to all my European brothers and sisters, may our Lord bless you!
Now add a couple of armor, swords, and shields clinging and clanging off in the distance! That’s the cherry on top!
At 22:21 a horn hits the exact same note as the chanting. I'm not sure if it's accidental but it creates one of the greatest musical sounds I have ever heard where the two frequencies superpose.
Amazing, I feel they’re presence and they’re energy as they march out and try to keep their spirits alive. I can feel the chill of the rain and the weight of the mud on their boots as they trudge through the mud.
The algorithm is strong here. Great development and respect to your audience.
When I was in the army in Germany our battalion went on a 65 mile march we never stopped to sleep we only stopped for 15 minutes each meal to eat I was so tired but out of a whole batallion I was only one of 8 soldiers at the end to make it this reminds me that time you will find them what you are made of
I never thought I´d see the day,
but here I am,
listening to this masterpiece
Wet, cold, heavy, tired, as I walk into Monday morning’s presentation 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I loved the original but this is something else.
It's very soothing and relaxing! And the rain in the background, omg!
Using God's name in vain it's a sin, stop
As a Christian who didnt grow up catholic or go to a traditional type of church; I never really got into the Hymns or songs that weren't translated. This goes hard
With this I no longer feel alone when I'm in dark souls.
Let me be honest, this is by far, the best Templar singing video out there. I've heard many chants and it's good but I always come back to this one, it's simply the one I can feel more immersed and I love it. It gives me a sense of Duty, of Devotion, I love it.
Oh how I wish this could be an animated thing with the marching.
Love your work and love this video keep it up
I had it on 1.5 speed unknowingly. I didn't notice because it was so good, just like normal speed!
This is exactly what I wanted! Thanks man
Thanks to you my friend
Idk why, but this genuinely calms me down. It's so soothing and relaxing somehow
We are marching...for God...for glory!
Hi.... can i please have your RUclips account ?
Listened to this all the time before my games now we’re heading to district champs and I still continue to listen
Back then, when people lived a very short, yet meaningful life
May God be with you brother.
Beautiful, makes me want to march to Jerusalem
Just prayed to Rosary for the first time this night, listening to this feels like a great finish.
This is so phenomenal! You literally made RUclips cool again!
Omg!! Thanks a lot for your comment, I am very happy reading this, thanks again my friend
Yesterday i found old version and today i'm listening that one, what was asked for. That's true creator
Thanks my friend¡¡
It really would be beautiful standing off to the side watching an entire army pass by you as they sing.
Even better to see them at a giant open-air Mass and then marching off to battle Sauracians freeing Jerusalem from infidels. What ever happened to the good old days?
