Granger is the easiest mostly due to the fact that he has trouble figuring out how to dismantle extensive defenses. That his base is so lightly protected, his units so expensive, and that he has no superweapons (alone among the Generals) doesn't help.
Give him a better base, and I suspect he'd be much more annoying. Certainly he'll obliterate anyone who doesn't expect him. And in the hands of a human, Granger is possibly the most dangerous of all the Generals.

+InchonDM he's a major pest at the start if you don't have your patriot missile systems set up properly, after that, he is easy
Granger is dumb in his challenge, but in multiplayer he's the most overpowered faction in the game, so OP that many people refuse to play against USA.

Yeah, pretty ridiculous that the most powerful General is the easiest one in Challenge mode. I found out that's it's so simply because he doesn't use everything that makes him so overpowered - no stealth commanches(and no Rocket Pods, if memory serves my right), no Stealth Fighters w/Bunker Busters (a pain in the ass for any GLA), no B-2 Carpet Bomber, no A-10 (I've never seen one), no MOAB (or at the very least Fuel Air Bomb), nothing. Why create a challenge with a general who doesn't utilise his faction's powers?
And his base actually is not defended at all - play as any USA, do a drop (three Rangers w/capturing ability) on left bottom corner where three powerplants are, capture them -> power goes down -> Patriots are not functioning -> go capture the rest of the base. There you go: the Air General is defeated because of the breach in air protection of his base. Fucking ridiculous.

In my experience, it's easiest as GLA due to stinger sites demanding no powers. I had way more problems with this guy than the rest.

Ah, I remember fighting Granger. In zero hour, utilizing Chinese generals made this fight easy, since his planes’ laser defenses can’t stop bullets. Just whether his aircraft with Gattling cannon defenses until you can beat him.
In shockwave, he’s still a pushover with the right general. He’ll wait longer before attacking, allowing you to build up more defenses. His planes still get shredded by bullets (not sure if he keeps laser defenses in shockwave), though he WILL eventually use some ground forces should you whether his planes long enough. I beat him first try on hard with Ol’ Ironside.

just goes to show you, the generals universe is wacky. granger can literally call an aircraft carrier to support him. he's an air force general, and he's ordering the navy to help him. also, i thought the us air force is the dominant of its kind in the world; why the hell would he ask the navy for air support
he's asking for reinforcements, not once did he command them

@@jvbutalid8316 he called the navy because his own air force is being eliminated, he only calls for reinforcements once you actually destroy all of his airfields and most of his buildings
@@guardiadecivil6777 america has other air force bases within texas where he's at. surely these bases could provide faster backup. sure there's enough water for a supercarrier to go to, but a landborne airbase is just way closer to his position than a mobile seaborne airbase.
