Single SA can be much louder than most people expect. I have mine in a custom 2.25 cb ft custom box with a Pioneer GMD9601. No one would think that it's only 1 SA12 playing. Remember to do the big 3 upgrade too.
One question. When the Bass is hitting like CRAZY do you hear the Mids, and Highs, or is that all drowned out? Just curious since there are so many Mids, and Tweets in the doors.

The system in my house consists of a Dynaco PAS-3 preamplifier, with two Heathkit W5M monoblocks for power amplifiers, two Klipsch loudspeakers (audiophile stuff). Powerful enough to make the neighbors notice, but not quite enough to rattle the building foundation. Love your videos - Keep up the good work!

OK first off I have a 8" down-fire digital 250 WATT AC powered sub-woofer hooked to my computer here and I had stuff vibrating across my desk from that show LOL. Next I wonder how much EMF is coming out of that custom woofer box behind his head with those gigantic woofer magnets. WOW

Besides the black death series im very unimpressed. My space 15 had horrible quality, sound and broke in less than 2 months on low power no clipping. It was not even well centered.
@@DaCracky Id still rather have edge ed series subwoofers rather than the vibe black death series mainly in price, design and power handling. Prices on them black deaths in the video were about £200 and i think theyre discontinued yet people are still trying to sell them from over 200 second hand which is just ridiculous when you compare it to what edge has to offer

I have several people tell me it looks like I'm chewing gum or something when I give demos and that I have a goofy smile on my face. But good demo and definitely clean install and love all u do. No doubt. During the peak of the mini-trucking and bass box fever, they must have released 1000s of CDs strictly for poppin' speakers. The good ol' days of cruisin' when retards weren't shooting themselves up.
Frequency is key to how bad it is on your hearing. When people say 140 will make you go deaf, they fail to understand that the "jet engine" 140dB isnt below 150hz, it is in the khz range (1000-5000khz). Plus your ear canal has a "response curve" of its own where you hear certain frequencies louder than others, this also falls in the khz ranges. So when you get a 155dB demo @ 35hz, yes you can damage your hearing, but very less likely compared to a 120-130dB rock concert due to the frequencies being played. That is why mids and highs that are just over 100dB can "cut through" 155dB bass to where you can still hear the music.
@3:52, is the magnets moving, like the top plate of the box in which holds the subs are to thin?? Or was it that the camera was making it look like it was?
