I heard an interview with Poppy a few weeks ago and she mentioned they’re both on the same label (Sumerian Records) and Noah (lead singer of Bad Omens) reached out to her with the idea for a collab. Not sure if there’s more to the story but that’s the little tid bit of info I have. Great reaction as always David!

New Starset - Brave New World Poppy is all over the metal collabs lately. Her feature on Knocked Loose - Suffocate is also so good. And the Bad Omens x HEALTH collab on The Drain is also really good.

Puzzled you haven't gone further with Ren, so perhaps you didn't realize they are the same person ? The man whose voice and bass playing you found so amazing in The Big Push. Would really LOVE to hear you react to Ren's extremely diverse catalog (on his YT chennel) Even though he is an independent artist, his 2023 album "Sick Boi" hit number one on the UK charts last year - without a record label or touring. His fans (Renegades) are mighty and many. You might say we are obsessed.

Have you heard the new Dance Gavin Dance drama? Tilian (the clean vocalist) is out - no specific reason given, but seems like a combination of artistic differences, alcohol abuse, and the SA allegations. Anyways, Andrew Wells (the 2nd guitarist) is taking over clean vocals at least for now, and they've got 2 new (from May) singles out - Speed Demon and Straight From the Heart. I think they both slap, especially Speed Demon. All the remaining members have some really standout moments between the two tracks, but Will Swan (guitar) especially carries Speed Demon.
