    The only thing that matters in sports, especially combat sports, is winning. Win by any means necessary. The sport isn’t “knockout”, it’s boxing. Fighting “for a decision” is just called fighting to win, and it’s how all fighters who want to be successful should fight. Any fighter who values a knockout over a victory isn’t gonna make it very far, because the two aren’t mutually exclusive. Put your heart into winning, not into how you’ll win.

    1. I find it suspicious that Kenny Bayless refereed so many of Floyd's fights (the champion gets to pick) and I find it suspicious that he never fought outside Las Vegas.
    2. In the 2nd round against McGregor, he threw no punches, but still won it. So, if he had continued like that for the entire fight, he would have won ? The refs gave it to him in case they went the distance.
    3. As soon as boxing started making big money(about 120 years ago), it was infected by corruption. That corruption is still present today.
    4. WBO, WBC, WBA and all the other organizations are international, which makes it impossible to regulate them.
    5. USADA and other organizations receive money from boxers to check their samples. Not from the organizers.

    Floyd is not a real champion nor a Great. He's definitely one of the best pure boxers and a genius at making money (businessman). He's smart for ducking a prime pacquiao and other big fights he ducked, but he loses points in being a great or a true champion. He's smart and makes lots of money by making sure he kept his record perfect, because that is his whole identity....but if he ever lost his 0, he would not make as much money and so he knows that and knew that all he focused on was making sure he would have a 99% chance of winning the fight before signing the contract. Greatness is about reaching beyond your grasp and exceeding expectations (doing what nobody expected you to do). That's not floyd. He's perfect at reaching what is within his grasp and doing what people expected of him. So that makes him 50-0 playing it safe and carefully, but he forfeit his chance to become a GREAT. The famous Booker T Washington once said, Don't judge someone by their accomplishment, but judge them on what they had to overcome for that accomplishment. I also say that you are only as great as the adversity you face. So in floyd's case, he pretty much only fought fights he knew he could win and did what was expected of him. He never took much risks, bigger challenges, tougher fights, or anything like that. So he's no great to me. He's definitely a fantastic boxer but it's too bad he never challenged himself more to truly see how great he could be. He played it safe, only focused on keeping his record intact but never dared to reach beyond his comfort zone. I will give my full analysis on this later in my channel. Don't forget to like share and subscribe :)

    • @breakaway2x
      @breakaway2x 5 лет назад

      I will also add if 41 year old floyd mayweather decided to fight the current best boxers in either Spence or Crawford and won the fight, I'd give him full credit and consider him to be a great, but know floyd, he'd never risk that much, he'd never put himself in a situation where he is at a disadvantage. That's why he's not a true great.

    • @onefish2fish
      @onefish2fish 5 лет назад +1

      You know Floyd is older than Pacquiao right? This prime argument isnt and excuse. They were both past their prime when they fought. Floyd's style just neutralizes Pacquiao's style. He never fought a counter puncher like that. Remember when an older Floyd fought a the young bull and "It" guy that everybody said would kill him in Canelo? Floyd DESTROYED him. Remember Floyd fought prime and prime world beater Diego Corrales? Beat him too. Give Floyd his props.

    • @breakaway2x
      @breakaway2x 5 лет назад +1

      @@onefish2fish Obviously I KNOW floyd is 1 year older than Pacquiao and the age issue IS A MAJOR FACTOR. This is where people like you don't actually understand boxing. It doesn't matter that floyd is OLDER. He's a marathon runner and pacquiao is a sprinter. By outwaiting pacquiao to their old age to fight him, he brought pacquiao into a MARATHON RACE because he's no longer able to SPRINT which was his strength. Pacquiao's forced to fight floyd's style because in his older age, he's not as strong fast and vicious as he was in his prime. Floyd was never vicious or intense. He's always methodical and slow paced. SO by waiting to fight pacquiao in their old age, it's actually MORE ADVANTAGEOUS for floyd than it is for Pacquiao. This is what 99% of casual boxing fans have no clue about and I'm here to educate the world about WHY it's a huge difference and advantage for floyd. If they have a rematch, floyd will win again on points. I'm saying that floyd will win 9/10 times at this age. But we never got to see them fight in their primes because my money says Pacquiao beats floyd or has a much better chance of beating floyd in their primes. So YES, the age argument DOES MATTER and it's a HUGE FACTOR.
