Perhaps something for a newcomer to vlogging to consider is that the form factor of these four cameras is DRAMATICALLY different. For me, considerations of the physical form factor and handling of the camera in real-world settings trump anything to do with video quality, audio quality, or stabilization. It might be interesting to make an in-depth video about that, demonstrating the various advantages/disadvantages of just the physical handling and form factor of each. For me, that's a very important comparison point. In my case, for example, I've tried to shoot video with a smartphone, but I simply can't stand how awkward it is to hold a phone or mount it and shoot video and adjust settings. Everything about it is awkward. And there is no removable battery, so it always runs out of power. Throughout the day, you always need to use your phone AS a phone, which means you can't shoot video at those times. To fix that problem, you end up carrying around two phones: one for shooting video and a second one to actually access the Internet and access Google Maps, etc. Attaching an external microphone is equally awkward and unreliable. You can never quite tell if the phone registered the microphone or not. It's also difficult to turn the phone around to film yourself and then ahead of you as you walk. Sometimes the LCD screen of the phone is facing you and sometimes it is facing forward and you can't see it. But people walking toward you have a full view of the large screen of your phone and everything it shows. To fix that problem, you have to constantly switch from the selfie camera lens to the forward-facing camera lens. And that usually involves a dramatic drop in video quality. There are no tally lights to tell you whether it's recording video or not. There were also security concerns when using a smartphone. If someone snatched my GoPro and ran away with it, I've lost just a camera. But I was always worried that someone would snatch my phone while I was holding it at arm's length, and then they would likely have access to a lot more of my personal online accounts since the phone would be unlocked at that time while it was filming. I could go on and on about all the problems I encountered when trying to use a smartphone for shooting a vlog. And those problems had nothing to do with the video quality or the stabilization or audio. All of that was perfectly fine. It was just the physical form of the phone that I disliked and how awkward it was to handle. I had the same experience with the DJI Pocket 2. There are many good things about it, but I ultimately found it very difficult to use in typical walk-and-talk vlogging situations. It was fiddly and complicated to use the various gimbal modes, and I never knew where the camera lens was pointing. I couldn't see anything on the tiny and dim screen to confirm what the camera was pointing at and recording. And the gimbal itself is delicate. Once you are holding the camera in your hands, you can never put it down because it would damage the gimbal. You constantly have to power the camera down and put it back in its case just so you can have your hands temporarily free to get out your wallet or get a coffee or do anything. Then you have to take it out and power it back up again. I ended up having to do that dozens of times in a typical day. The battery is also not interchangeable. And to get a wide enough field of view, you have to use the wide angle lens adapter, and it falls off so easily. Just the slightest nudge causes it to fall off. It's almost guaranteed that you're going to lose it. For those reasons and many more, my DJI Pocket 2 ended up just gathering dust in a storage bag. It was just too much of a hassle to use because of the form factor. Anyway, I was just thinking that a video focusing on these physical handling and form factor issues might be interesting for your channel and your viewers. I know that I would have a lot to say on the topic. 😀
We have the same concern about the iPhone being too awkward and risky to hold outstretch, so I bought the DJI pocket 2 for my vacation I thought it would be easy for me to vlog since it was small, but the gimbal itself is so dramatic and be careful every time.
I agree! I’m limited in both my hands & the amount I can physically use them a day due to a disability injury later in life. These would be hugely beneficial for me. Thanks so much for making this comment and reminding me to do the same on other product review videos I like 🙏
You perfectly addressed every single concern that I have with vlogging on a smartphone. The quality is amazing but it’s extremely inconvenient so I haven’t been able to bring myself to vlog consistently until I find a suitable camera that is easy to carry around and isn’t that intrusive when filming in public.
I have exactly the same issues with the iPhone and osmo pocket for vlogging… I would add on your list the go pro issues: first it overheat very easy, and u always have to change batteries during the day cuz it finish very fast. Also , as long as you have a really wide angle, there’s no bokeh effect, and so when you want to show products or food, everything gets little bit distorted, the image quality also give issues when uploading for RUclips, some shoots just get blurred or pixelated for no reason, the low light even in indoor places during the day it’s horrible. I also do have a canon g7x mark I and I’m just crazy to upgrade it because it doesn’t have microphone input and the image it’s cropped too much, I basically show my face too close to the screen on every video cuz of that. The biggest issue for me it’s because I live in a country where is hard to make videos anywhere and use huge equipment because it’s basically forbidden to use cameras everywhere, they stop me all the time even with a small little thing, so to buy a bigger camera gonna offer me good quality but huge problems in the backstage

I recently got my GoPro Hero 11 Black and i will never understand why people say it's not a good camera for Vlogging. I make travel content and i can't think of any camera better than a GoPro. Waterproof, great stabilization, compact, and with the media mod and a microphone, great audio quality. Sometimes i use my iPhone 11 as well in low light. Great video guys!
That's because past gopros had a lot of glitch issues, so it wasn't very reliable. It had risks of losing footage. So far the 11 has been much better. I've only had it glitch on me once.
I use the gopro hero 11, insta 360 x3, my phone (pixel 7 pro) and a sony a6600. Covers all the areas that I need. Where one camera is weak in certain areas, my other camera(s) fill the gap.
I have GoPro (up to Hero 10B), Iphone, Pocket 2 and original ZV-1. My ranking would be 1. Pocket 2 due to portability and form factor, the best performer in stable low light, great sharpness, great audio and their creator combo. 2. iPhone. You have it with you pretty much all the time and it takes good photos, and auto backup to Google Photos. 3. ZV-1. My main problems with Mark 1 is clunky menu and, and not stable. Plus its expensive. 4. GoPro. So many problems. Hangs a lot and easily overheat. The app experience isn't any better. However these days I shoot mostly with Insta360 Go 2 and now Go 3. Their quality ain't as great as the 4 above (but good enough for silly social posts), but they are super small and compact and MAGNETIC.
Wonderful overview of A-list cameras sporting dramatically different form factors. Regarding stabilization 8:30, remember the DJI *doesn’t crop* because it stabilizes via gimbal.
I also ended up with GoPro and iPhone as a combo, which covers majority of the situations. Pocket 2 is a wonderful camera and I like it a lot, but it's not as weather proof as GoPro unfortunately.
This is an amazing video that highlights all of the strengths and weaknesses of some of the vlogging cameras I use. I personally use the GoPro for B-roll, Timelapses, and POV shots and I use my iPhone 14 Pro for macro shots of food and while talking. I actually purchased the GoPro Hero 11 in December 2022 because of your videos, so thank you!
I have 3/4 of those cameras. Everything you said about the GoPro and the Pocket 2 is spot on. My wife just got the ZV1 mark 2 today. I haven't had a chance to use it. I often find myself going for the Pocket 2 over the GoPro. I record my table tennis matches and the GoPro always overheats. Major bummer.
You gave an excellent all-around comparison of each kind of camera, based on popularity (by intended users) in this part of the world. You had me watching your video even though I just watched your channel for the first time! Thanks!
Recently purchased a go pro hero 11 after watching a heap of your videos along with others on RUclips. Looking forward to Learning how to maximize its capability and hopefully even get started on my own channel. Thanks for providing us with some quality information!!
I have a GoPro 10 and a Sony zV1. I'll be honest with you; I was expecting more from the Sony zV1. The stability of the Sony isn't good enough. If you use the maximum stabilization level, they crop the video a little bit, and this can be annoying. Additionally, when I need to capture some shots, I have to walk very slowly and move the camera very slowly; otherwise, my videos turn out a little blurry, but now sometimes i use the sony for vlog or gopro 10. One good thing about sony zv1, when you don't have a lot lights, the Sony ZV1 does the job very well. GoPro tends to struggle in low-light conditions.
I am very happy with my IPhone 13 Pro and my GoPro 10. And this Fall I will upgrade both of them!! To me their both easy to use and light enough! Thanks for this amazing video!
Thanks for the thorough comparisons! The GoPro system seems the most trouble-free and has such a great ecosystem of accessories. An Iphone is indeed a $1k camera, OR it is a life device that comes with a free camera that is always in your pocket. However, I do not want any part of my photo/video workflow including ICloud or have my footage limited by the way that Apple almost insists on storing/managing the data.
You can always buy the S23U instead, it has better stablization with way less digital warping and a pretty comparable video and destroys the iPhone when it comes to zoom and telephoto lens stablization.
I can’t believe how much better the quality and sound is on the iPhone! My two picks are the iPhone and the go pro! The zv1 mark ii mic didn’t sound the best to me! Thank you for the video! I’m looking into getting the canon m200 for vlogging
This was the perfect video for me, thank you! I’ve been debating on which camera to get and these were the exact products I had in mind, since I already have the 14 pro
@@knownuser0815 A processor and software upgrade for smoother operation and upgraded Tracking, slightly larger image sensor or lower megapixel count for even better low light performance, weather sealing, would all be great. I'd upgrade if they even improved the tracking and image quality alone tho lol
Recently a leaked photo of a potential Pocket 3 in testing has been seen on Twitter by a reputable leaker. Hopefully after the Mini 4 Pro is announced we‘ll get the Pocket 3 this year.
I shot a good portion of a documentary with the iPhone 14 pro max. I got it because I didn’t want to carry around my entire camera setup and risk losing or misplacing something. The footage came out awesome and if you have an Apple workflow I recommend getting 2tb of iCloud storage and when you edit you can take the clips straight from the photos app in your mac
Great comparison of these cameras, as far as vlogging is concerned. I have three out of four of them, I don't have the Sony. All of them have their own pros and cons. I like the Pocket 2 Creator combo because of the wireless mic, one you have it paired, it works every time by just turning it on. I love the easy setup. The iPhone is my goto for vertical video. And the GoPro is my goto when getting stable video is an issue. Thanks for sharing Suzie.
The biggest problem with I-phone for vlogs or streams is that if you live or travel to very warm places.... the I-phone will overheat and shut down in hot weather! That is why many streamers use some from of Galaxy phones for streaming. More apps, less problems with overheating.
@tNash-ep7dl but when it is 105 in the shade during the summer here in Texas, a cooling fan doesn't help - especially if you have a case on your iPhone to protect it from drops & getting cracked.
Thank you Suzy (apologies) if the spelling is incorrect. Your reviews are always concise, extensive and helpful in helping us all decide the perfect camera. I personally use a Hero10 and iPhone13pro. Great content.
Hi. I see that you did not include the DJI Osmo Action 3 in your comparison. I am wondering where it would have been placed if you included it? Has the focus issue on the Action 3 been sorted out with firmware updates?
I have updated videos on the OA3. I think the focus has been greatly improved in the most recent batches of cameras. But in my comparison video of the OA3 to the Hero 11, GoPro still has top overall image quality, so that’s why I chose it to represent action cameras in this video.
4:30 Ladies, you gotta get out of your head with the skin smoothing less sharpness debate. You look far better with more detail/sharpness. We want to see the details.
I would just buy them all because each one of them compensate eachother and you can just choose which one to you want to use based on the situation you are in. Great infomation and thanks for sharing to the world.
Great work providing information on the strengths and weaknesses of these cameras. Own the ZV1, pocket 2, GoPro 10 and iPhone XS. It’s knowing when to use them and learning along the way. Totally useable for Vlogging if you’re just starting out. Appreciate the time it must have taken to make this 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
I use the Gopro during the day because of its incredible image, stabilization quality and the Sony A7S3 during the night. This cam is a low light beast!
Number 1 is SONY ACTION CAMERA especially the old one As50 and MOTOROLLA MOBILE G82 and finally think GOPRO 7 I was told its good not the new ones. DJI POCKET ALSO GOOD. I'm not the best at this but Sony camera is very good. I bought a cheap second hand Sony HDR As50 action camera in Australia for $75 dollars and it takes stunning VIDEOS ALSO BUILT IN STABILITY AND GOOD UNDER WATER. Then bought DJI osmo 1 $200 its good during day time but struggles at night. I bought go pro hero 4 old camera $100 and very good during the day also stable ok at night. Finally Motorolla g82 mobile $350 very good during the day and night.
iphone only for vlogging. For B-Rolls I use X-T4 but very rarely, it mostly stays in the studio for my talking heads. I need convenience and speed when on the go and filming solo, but you are right about the fact that the phone can get lost and stolen, this is why I am thinking of getting a go-pro or an action 3... too many choices, not enough money haha Very nice video ;)
From what I've seen, the Action 3/4 stabilsation is way better than the GoPro, especially in low light...shockingly so. That's a problem with digital stabilisation vs the DJI Pocket as well - I'd prefer bobbing to streaks. I am amazed at what the iPhone can do. One benefit of using your phone which I'm not sure you covered is you can edit and post from the phone, so you can work on the road - something of course you can't do with the others. I do this with my Android phone and CapCut - hence thinking of upgrading to an iPhone because hiking long distance, I don't want to have two cameras.
Fuji X-S20 is the best vlogging camera by a mile in front of everyone for the price. interchangeable lens, 10 bit video, all the fps you want, fuji's film cinema simulation, 4k, 6.2k open gate... its a monster.
Very good video… I have used the GoPro Hero 7 now for years (waiting for the 11 - should arrive Friday) and love the form factor and video quality. I have used the DJI Pocket 1 and 2 and love it also for what it is… I also use an iPhone 12 ProMax which, like you say is always with me so gets a lot of use. The GoPro is my go to camera when traveling, hiking or walking around. Looking forward to the new and enhanced Hero 11…. My mirrorless camera is the Canon M50 which I have had since it was released. I have a variety of lenses and absolutely love it… with the larger aperture available on some of the prime lenses, low light video comes out very good. Thank you for your review of these different cameras… well done
Thanks for the thorough review! It's very helpful seeing your footage on each of the cameras. We use a combination of our GoPro and our phone for our vlogging. There are definitely strengths and weaknesses to each of the options!
Wow you did an amazing job on this video very detailed and a lot of effort. Looks like a 1 million view video to me well deserved. Thanks for the advice I'm going with the new GoPro Hero 12 with external mic.
This was very helpful in helping me decide which camera I want to eventually upgrade my videomaking with (upgrading from my android phone). Thank you for your beautiful explanations and thorough comparisons!
I don’t have the Sony camera and I don’t have the dji pocket 2 but I do have the I-hone 12 mini, the GoPro hero 9 and the insta360 go 2. I pretty much use all 3 cameras in all situations. Action, vlogging, stablization, weather conditions. I don’t need another camera but I still was considering getting the dji pocket 2 or the insta360 go 3.
Great video I’m really struggling to decide on a camera. I really want to start my RUclips channel but get so caught up in all the little things (and the fear of putting myself out there). I have an iPhone 13 Pro that can absolutely do what I need it to do but the reality is I’m just not 100% confident in shooting footage in public with it even though phones are common it’s hard to explain. That’s why I’m leaning go pro it’s small and with certain attachments I feel like I can be more stealthy? Maybe also I don’t want to be filling my phone’s storage. Getting familiar with micro sd and transferring of files is a skill I need to learn and that’s also why I’m leaning go pro. Love your videos they have been giving me the confidence to vlog and begin my journey.
If you let me give you a small advice ön public vloging, speaking. To be familiar with it is to take actions, but you can start at least crowded spaces and you will be more and more confident by time. Practicing is the key :)
The hardest part of vlogging is getting over the fear of doing it in public. I’d suggest starting out with your phone and just pretend like you’re FaceTiming with a friend. It makes it much easier psychologically. And yes, the more you do it, the easier it becomes.
I have the GoPro 11, it's great but not enough. It bothers me that there's no zoom, no autofocus and that the image is terrible in low lighting. I've decided to buy the iPhone 14 pro and use it for when the GoPro isn't doing the job.
Thanks for the comprehensive review. I use: GoPro10 - very versatile, light and provides good quality (except in low light). Also batteries deteriorated in Philippines heat and in the end would die before a dive ended. Sony A6600 - great quality with 16-55 2.8 G lens. Heavy and poor stabilization without gimbal (which I have Zhiyun Weebill S but haven’t yet used). So it’s great on a tripod but I struggle to have stable footage while moving or hand-held. IPhone 13 Pro Max - produces great results on camera but footage is very washed-out when I import into DaVinci Resolve 18 Studio (my editing software). No doubt this can be fixed using Color Grading but I’ve yet to figure out how to do so easily.
@@nonie18 Simple answer is no, I regret I do not. Sony A6600 - I have Zhiyun Weebill S gimbal but have never actually set it up. I use tiny igagdgitz mini-tripod as it's very portable. Also have bigger tripod and monopod but rarely use them - too big and heavy for travel. GoPro10 - I use and like Ulanzi selfie stick/tripod which works well and can probably be adapted to iPhone 13 Pro Max. Stabilization is excellent on GoPro10 (unlike Sony A6600 - often need to stabilize part in post) so don't need gimbal. iPHone 13 Pro Max - I only use this when other cameras are not available as I always prefer footage from other two. So it's always just the phone with no accessories - decent stabilization and inbuilt microphone. Microphones - I use Comica Boom XU 2 (more options now available) when I want external mic (and more relevant don't mind carrying it). This could be used with iPhone but I never do as if I have the microphone I'll have either the GoPro10 or Sony A6600 with me and they're always preferable to iPhone. Having said all that I watched some parachutists landing two days ago on Sunday and only had my iPhone 13 Pro Max so recorded and immediately released a brief video using phone and inbuilt mic and it was fine (more or less).
A really useful video about what could be the best vlogging camera as we move closer to the autumn and winter of 2023. I do have an important question for you about your favourite, the GoPro 11. You mentioned its sound quality 17:14. I am not happy with its sound quality from the GoPro 11's own microphone or the media mod's. So, I tried to use a Rode SmartLav+ lavalier. But, I am not getting any sound! Would you know the solution to this problem? (3 August 2023).
DJI Mic +6DB on the Transmitter and + 6DB on the Receiver is amazing for the iPhone. If you want to up your game still further, add the Rode Smart Lav+. This one has no hiss. IF you're shooting video, iPhone is sooo much better than Android. Congrats on your switch. You made a very wise choice.
@@Q_QQ_Q I'm not a fan of Android. I think they're disjointed & crappy. I've tried several phones and returned them all. iPhone is a better experience.
Hi, Suzi. I randomly find your video while I was checking for the review for insta360 go 3. I adore your video and looking forward to see more. P.S. Love the video. ❤

Wonderful overview of A-list cameras sporting dramatically different form factors. Regarding stabilization 8:30, remember the DJI *doesn’t crop* because it stabilizes via gimbal.
Literally the best video about vlogging cams in RUclips. Thank you. This should be the gold standard of product reviews. A+
You deserve all the views, all the likes and all the subs. What a well researched, well detailed, well though-out video! Easiest sub ever.
not sponsored. amazing. i am now going around internet searching for that type of content. thanks.
How I wish I have one of these start my study vlog, still saving money and I know I could make it. Thank you for this review
I also ended up with GoPro and iPhone as a combo, which covers majority of the situations.
Pocket 2 is a wonderful camera and I like it a lot, but it's not as weather proof as GoPro unfortunately.
Dji action 3 is the answer.
@@ArthurAbramovPhoto you mean iPhone and dji action is the combo
This is an amazing video that highlights all of the strengths and weaknesses of some of the vlogging cameras I use. I personally use the GoPro for B-roll, Timelapses, and POV shots and I use my iPhone 14 Pro for macro shots of food and while talking. I actually purchased the GoPro Hero 11 in December 2022 because of your videos, so thank you!
Been waiting for a video like this comparing them all. Thank you
I have 3/4 of those cameras.
Highly informative, well-researched video! Now I’m more confident to shop. Thanks! ❤
I have the iPhone 14 pro max and the go pro 11, Carry both, and alternate between the two for vlogs and photos 😀 love your videos
I’m going to get a camera but really no idea, watched a lot vids and yours does help me a lot deciding it. Thanks for all the comparisons and advices😉
I use the GoPro Hero 11 as my main camera with the Hero 10 as a backup.
That’s a great setup!
This was the perfect video for me, thank you! I’ve been debating on which camera to get and these were the exact products I had in mind, since I already have the 14 pro
Simplicity is the best. Lightweight and easy point-and-shoot cameras are the best choices for vlogging 😊
Excellent review, thanks!
Great video! Man, wish DJI would come out with a Pocket 3. Hope they didn't give up on the product line.
Hopefully they release a new model this year.
What upgrade would you wish for the Pocket 3?
@@knownuser0815 A processor and software upgrade for smoother operation and upgraded Tracking, slightly larger image sensor or lower megapixel count for even better low light performance, weather sealing, would all be great. I'd upgrade if they even improved the tracking and image quality alone tho lol
Recently a leaked photo of a potential Pocket 3 in testing has been seen on Twitter by a reputable leaker.
Hopefully after the Mini 4 Pro is announced we‘ll get the Pocket 3 this year.
Literally an hour after i commented this the Mini 4 Pro was announced lol now lets hope we'll hear about the Pocket 3 soon :D
Are you confident when using the Pocket 2 that you're face will always be in focus, or do you really need to monitor using the smartphone?
The Nikon Z30 is by far best camera for 1k or less. It is better than all the cameras reviewed on this video.
Which one has the best clarity ?
For "street walking" type of videos
@@jeevanandham07 They all have good clarity.
Thanks for the video!
Video came at the perfect time. Thanks for the suggestions and review 😁
Loved this video. Few reviewers think to talk about which cameras are FLATTERING when vlogging
The biggest problem with I-phone for vlogs or streams is that if you live or travel to very warm places.... the I-phone will overheat and shut down in hot weather! That is why many streamers use some from of Galaxy phones for streaming. More apps, less problems with overheating.
yep. I literally bought a cooling fan for my phone for just that reason!
@@Gemini_Connect Thank you.
Action 3 is number 1 for value and what u get
Thank you for the breakdown! Keep up the good work!
I think the Go Pro - it seems to meet most needs, has good sound, and that $50 a year unlimited storage is very attractive (at least to a beginner).
Very informative.. Thank you so much for the video.. 🙂
4:30 Ladies, you gotta get out of your head with the skin smoothing less sharpness debate. You look far better with more detail/sharpness. We want to see the details.
in terms of image quality i think the zv1 m2 is the most natural because it has less digital sharpening compared to all of those 3.
I would just buy them all because each one of them compensate eachother and you can just choose which one to you want to use based on the situation you are in. Great infomation and thanks for sharing to the world.
Wow Gurl! It was a long and really informative video. This is what I was looking for! Thanks for sharing...
Great work providing information on the strengths and weaknesses of these cameras. Own the ZV1, pocket 2, GoPro 10 and iPhone XS. It’s knowing when to use them and learning along the way. Totally useable for Vlogging if you’re just starting out. Appreciate the time it must have taken to make this 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Thanks for watching!
@@Gemini_ConnectCAN IT BE USED AS A WEBCAM?
Good videos, i like it 😍
I use the Gopro during the day because of its incredible image, stabilization quality and the Sony A7S3 during the night. This cam is a low light beast!
this was helpful
Amazing video! Thank you for all the good information ✌
Thank you for this exceptional detail video
Very detailed and easy understanding information. Thanks so much
just bought a ZV-E10 and whole set Kase filters. Hope it's worthy.
I just found you! I ❤ getting gear recs from a non-bro. Thank you so so so so much!
I really like your video !!! Its smooth and really focusing on the gadgets specs !!!. 👍🏼😘✌🏻👍🏼
I'm very thankful for clear explanations. ❤
Finally Motorolla g82 mobile $350 very good during the day and night.
just watched your this video and became a fan :) and instantly subscribed. Miles to go... Keep going n getting what you desire... God bless you.
Amazing and comprehensive video. Thanks a lot
Recently bought new gear, all of it should be arriving in July and I watched this channel for all the info on them. Very helpful thank you very much
iphone only for vlogging. For B-Rolls I use X-T4 but very rarely, it mostly stays in the studio for my talking heads. I need convenience and speed when on the go and filming solo, but you are right about the fact that the phone can get lost and stolen, this is why I am thinking of getting a go-pro or an action 3... too many choices, not enough money haha
Very nice video ;)
From what I've seen, the Action 3/4 stabilsation is way better than the GoPro, especially in low light...shockingly so. That's a problem with digital stabilisation vs the DJI Pocket as well - I'd prefer bobbing to streaks. I am amazed at what the iPhone can do. One benefit of using your phone which I'm not sure you covered is you can edit and post from the phone, so you can work on the road - something of course you can't do with the others. I do this with my Android phone and CapCut - hence thinking of upgrading to an iPhone because hiking long distance, I don't want to have two cameras.
I have bought GoPro Hero 11 and after 10 minutes it is overheating please tell me what to do india, Tamil Nadu, Chennai.
Thank you for the thorough review. 🤩
You have done a great job and a nice explanation ❤ Good luck
This was a really great video🔥
Thanks for the thorough review! It's very helpful seeing your footage on each of the cameras. We use a combination of our GoPro and our phone for our vlogging. There are definitely strengths and weaknesses to each of the options!
Wow you did an amazing job on this video very detailed and a lot of effort. Looks like a 1 million view video to me well deserved. Thanks for the advice I'm going with the new GoPro Hero 12 with external mic.
This was very helpful in helping me decide which camera I want to eventually upgrade my videomaking with (upgrading from my android phone). Thank you for your beautiful explanations and thorough comparisons!
im still using my osmo pocket 1 and pocket 2 as my daily camera for my gaming recording session
I think I need iphone, gopro11 and sony zv1 m2. currently use android and sony zv1...and just sold my gopro 7 last year
AWESOME VIDEO! Thank you
Curious…you rarely use your Osmo Action 3 and didn’t include in list. Just a simple preference for GoPro? Another well done video!!
Hi dear, how do you store your videos, usb? I have too many video on my phone.
Super helpful video! Thank you so much!
Great video 🙏 I’m really enjoying vlogging with the DJI Osmo Pocket 2. Great picture and sound quality and easy to use.
I have the GoPro 11, it's great but not enough. It bothers me that there's no zoom, no autofocus and that the image is terrible in low lighting. I've decided to buy the iPhone 14 pro and use it for when the GoPro isn't doing the job.
Excellent choice. That’s my go to setup too.
I wasn't ready for that #4 camera audio to hit.
I always tell my friends who are looking for a camera that a phone is the best
How come ?
On my main channel I use the DJI pocket 1 and 2 however I want to change over the GoPro
Great video. Very detils. Thx.
Thanks for the detailed comparison and very well-executed video! You got a new subbie!
Thanks for the comprehensive review. I use:
GoPro10 - very versatile, light and provides good quality (except in low light).
Do you have recommended accessories for the Iphone 13 pro max? Such as gimbal, tripod, or microphone for filming?
Thank you..extremely informative and well done video.
My kit is the iPhone, DJI Pocket 2, and a Ricoh GRIIIX.
I’ve heard so much about that Ricoh and really want to try it.
How about iphone 11 pro max? is a that worth to buy as filming or editing in 2024??
Would u recommend the Sony ZV1F Instead of the Sony ZV Mark2?
So deep review 🙌

A really useful video about what could be the best vlogging camera as we move closer to the autumn and winter of 2023. I do have an important question for you about your favourite, the GoPro 11. You mentioned its sound quality 17:14. I am not happy with its sound quality from the GoPro 11's own microphone or the media mod's. So, I tried to use a Rode SmartLav+ lavalier. But, I am not getting any sound! Would you know the solution to this problem? (3 August 2023).
I believe the SmartLav is for phones only (TRRS). Try getting a TRS mic, rather than a TRRS.
omg i just watched 47secs & i already love your channel!!! subsrcibed!!!
i tihink the winner is dji pocket 2, because it is all around camera ...stability, low light, audio qualiti, and image quality....
My Faforit for Hikingstorys osmopocket v1 sony zv1 and xperia 5II with MCPro24FPS APP for filming and osmo mobile 6. and for photgrapy the sony a6000
DJI Mic +6DB on the Transmitter and + 6DB on the Receiver is amazing for the iPhone. If you want to up your game still further, add the Rode Smart Lav+. This one has no hiss. IF you're shooting video, iPhone is sooo much better than Android. Congrats on your switch. You made a very wise choice.
Sony Xperia, Samsung are better than iPhone
@@Q_QQ_Q I'm not a fan of Android. I think they're disjointed & crappy. I've tried several phones and returned them all. iPhone is a better experience.
Hi, Suzi. I randomly find your video while I was checking for the review for insta360 go 3. I adore your video and looking forward to see more. P.S. Love the video. ❤
