      @@floraaficianado5050 - We're not gonna show the bad guys anything they can use IMHO. Most of the bad guys are asymmetrical types who can't get close enough anyway. (it's why they prefer soft, unarmed targets instead of fighting a military war) They see our hard-working people and know they can never match the technique, technology and training these people have. JMHO of course.

    Noticed the boomerang sniper system on the van at the 2:56 mark, so even a suppressed sniper weapon fire would be detected unless you have a really good hi velocity round say around 4,000 ft per second which would be detected, but also confuse the boomerang system, as its all based on sound waves, so it will be almost 3 sound waves which hits the system thus thinking that 3 shots were fired at a position ,when in fact only 1 shot was fired?😀🤘✌👌👍

    Wow! You made a fatal typo at the 4:34 mark of this video! The HMX-1 chopper that was shown at the 4:34 mark is a VH-60 White Hawk, not a VH-92 Super Hawk, although a VH-92 is a Patriot. If there is a such thing as a Super Hawk, I've never heard of it. If it does exist, I would assume that it would be an upgraded version of the VH-60 White Hawk. No different than how the CH-53 King Stallion is an upgraded version of the CH-53 Super Stallion, or how the AH-1 Viper is an upgraded version of the AH-1 Cobra. However, the VH-92 is the new Marine One that they haven't even flown the President in yet. The damn thing has some rotors that are too damn powerful that tears the White House lawn to shit, lol! I see HMX-1 Marines flying them back n forth all day every day here in Washington D.C.. I'm assuming they're doing their test runs and/or getting their flight hours in them. Nonetheless, I just wanted to make note of that fatal typo that you made, lol!

Don't remember who the guy was who died, former Senator or Congressman from Nevada I think. All I know is that our departing flight was delayed by 90 minutes as the roads accessing the airport were closed and our flight crew was unable to get to the airport. Luckily I missed my connecting flight in Chicago (ORD) and the airline was nice enough put me up in a hotel and gave me a meal voucher. They didn't have to as the delay was not caused by them. The agent at the customer service desk joked that the airline would send the bill to President Biden. 😛

      Within the confines of an airport environment, Rotary aircraft must operate as per fixed wing aircraft, so no one gets any nasty surprise of a hell crossing their path. You can hover taxi, after asking permission, and you can ask to go ‘direct to helipad’ but if it’s busy you might get a ,no ..join behind the plane on finals etc.

    The parts for these 747-200s are becoming hard to find. The 747-8s that Trump bought will be a real life replacement. The hangars to house the aircraft will need to be enlarged because of both fuselage and wingspan increases. It’s great to see the replacements around the corner. The next challenge will be replacing the E4B. We have 4 of them and the 747-8 assembly line is now closed. It will be a challenge to replace this capability.

    • @dmcr9525
      @dmcr9525 5 месяцев назад +4

      I was thinking the 777-9 would be a good replacement, however the USAF has preferred 4 engine aircraft for this role, so it will be very interesting to see what the replacements will be.

    • @edjarrett3164
      @edjarrett3164 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@dmcr9525 I agree that it could be an option for the E4B replacement. It has only been used once to transport the President. The real question is what will it cost to retrofit for the mission. It will also need to be air refuelable. The number of people needed has probably reduced significantly because of the sheer computing power available today. Comms would be a challenge as we haven’t built out a command aircraft in almost 40 years. I think it’s a good airframe to use. Suitability has to be looked at closely.

    • @Three_Random_Words
      @Three_Random_Words 5 месяцев назад +1

      Maybe some C-17s can be be converted to the E4B role, if 4 engines is a must, but I don't think it's absolute. Or maybe the K-46 (767) tanker can be used, if a fresh air-frame is the main requirement, but yeah, then you might as well go with a 777. 787?

    Far too much money is spent on this. There were 2-747’s at least 1 757, VH-3’s, 2 VH-92’s, 4 MV-22’s, several C-17’s, presidential limos, support vehicles and the aircraft support vehicles. You add in the man power and the start adding up the math and the cost to do this is astronomical. It’s been said that the operating costs of each 747 is 100,000 dollars per hour plus fuel. This one trip was a multimillion dollar trip just one way. I’d be willing to bet the cost is somewhere around 25 to 30 million dollars not including the return flight. They could rent a Boeing 787 Dreamliner BBJ and Bell 525 helicopter and save the tax payers at least 80% of the cost.

      I agree, there entire concept of presidential security has escalated as much as recent inflation. If it can be imagined as a possible threat the powers have come up with measures, equipment, back up, and plans off the chart and don't forget the advance planning and visits and pre stationed equipment. Time to stop all this over reaction. The Commander-In-Chief is expendable just as any other person under that command. Not that I would want any thing bad to happen but lets get real.

    All that security and the President faces potential death from falling every time he walks on stairs. LOL

      LOL ONE would think there would be a less obvious way of making sure he lands safely. But, I guess sometimes we stick to traditions. (Or at least are supposed to?)

    What a fantastic show! There is a vice president though am I right? What's with all this decoy nonsense? Does he have a double when he takes a pee?

    I’m sorry to say that most the veterans that live in cardboard boxes have made that decision to do so.😔
