I would love to see the warm weather knits at this time of year. I am so happy to see an Australian knitting podcast I really like. I live in Northern NSW and knit all year round. It would be great to feel it closer to home and in real time. I also can't wear things that make me hot, so no knitwear in the summer for me, just too hot. But from autumn right through to summer, I love my knits.
Congratulations to you on your engagement! How wonderful! I hope you make an amazing wedding shawl or veil 🥰 Your vest looks great, and I’d love a seasonal roundup vid x
Congratulations on the engagement, the ring is so pretty! And yes, please make a seasonal video for the Southern Hemisphere, I would love that! I’m sure others would too.
Congratulations!! He does have amazing taste! Am so happy for you Nadine! Your knitting, as always, is beautiful and makes me so happy when I watch your videos! I think a pattern roundup would be a fabulous idea . ❤
Yes! I would love to watch a warm weather into autumn roundup. I live in California, so your warm weather ideas suit me better than those gorgeous big sweaters that people in colder climates get to knit. 👍👍👍
Congratulations to you both! He’s a lucky guy. And I know we’ll enjoy following through the wedding preparations. The seasonal video sounds wonderful. It’s always interesting to learn about other parts of the world. Thank you for sharing your time with us. I do so enjoy watching.🥂
Congratulations! I love your “engagement socks”- great idea and good use of the yellow waste yarn (I use mine for life lines when knitting complex patterns, but your choice is much more fun!). I knit a very similar blanket in neutral yarn, just making up the pattern using knit 4 purl 4 alternating blocks when my daughter and SIL were trying to have a baby. I told her I was knitting my grandbaby into existence- and it worked-Ben is now 15. Who knew I had such powers! Lol! The head band turned out really well. I like the longer length. It makes it much more versatile. I make hooded baby sweaters for all new baby arrivals and most of the colour requests these days are for neutral colours, black, grey, green- makes a lot of my stash redundant and always have to head out to buy more yarn (not such a hardship). I love style reviews any time of the year. We can a,ways knit or plan for other seasons. If I knit in season, I won’t be wearing it till next year.
Congratulations on your engagement! Your ring is very beautiful! I know you will be a beautiful bride. I would love to see a seasonal video from you. I enjoy watching seasonal videos from everyone, whether it's the same as mine or not.
🎉So happy for your engagement! Also, I’m so glad I found your podcast recently. You’ve been so helpful to me with decisions on what to create next. I love hearing your process about choosing the pattern for the baby blanket. It looks lovely!
Congratulations 🥂 on your engagement. How exciting! It will be so interesting to see if you choose to knit anything for your wedding. (I’ve seen some amazing knitted wedding dresses, but that’s a huge undertaking.) He totally did great with your spectacular ring 💍 I’d also love to see your take on Autumn knits.
Special times!! Congratulations! Love the gold ring around the sock idea! Yes, your fiance has great taste. Yes warm weather knits would be great. We are just getting into warm weather.
Of course Michael has excellent taste! Beautiful news. Blessings on your relationship and lives. Looking forward to an Aussie Autumn inspiration! Anything that helps me know whats out there and available for us!
Congratulations on the engagement! I think even as a northern hemisphere person that a pattern roundup for Aussie autumn/winter would still be enjoyable, as I'm personally moving from a very hot climate (desert) to a very cold one and could use all the inspiration I could get to prepare!
Congratulations! I would love to see a southern hemisphere seasonal video. Especially one that takes into account the milder temperature changes we see in Aus.
Hi Nadine, congratulations on your engagement from here in the Netherlands. I really love watching your videos, love your nice calming and enthusiastic voice, and your cadence. Even though I’m an average Northen Hemisphere knitter it is lovely to watch an Aussie knitter. With my sister (now) living in Toowoomba, I have been lucky enough to visit Australia twice. And looking forward to/hoping for a next chance to visit.
Congratulations! What a fabulous proposal story. May you be blessed with many joyous years together. I’m so glad you commemorated the moment in your socks! IMO I would not do the same in the second sock - that way you will always know which one is the “engagement sock” 💍
Congratulations to you and Michael on your engagement. Your ring is very beautiful and he has awesome taste !! Wishing you all the best. Thanks for another super video - I really enjoy watching :)
Congratulations, Nadine! Y’all are such a cute couple❤ I really like your finished vest! I think it would be fun to see a video of what you will be planning for your upcoming weather there in Brisbane. I look forward to the next episode 😊
So happy for you! Hope you share your wedding plans with us. Love all your knitting projects. I would love to see some more project ideas for the fall. I don't knit seasonally.
So you could say it is a very 'engaging' sock!! I was so pleased for you both. Love yr vest. Plus, i test all yarn by putting it on my neck. I made a baby blanket snd when i finished it, i found out it was scratchy on my neck and wld be uncomfortable on anyone's skin, let alone a baby!! Thanks for always striving to produce such quality !!!
Congratulations!! I live in northwest Florida and love learning about your warm weather knitting. We do have cold days in our winter, but not like what I lived in most of my life. So the sweaters I’ve knit before aren’t worn as often as I would like. I’m totally interested in a video of patterns for your fall weather. 💜
Oh how wonderful ❤️Congratulations! Your vest and scarf turned out so nice… would love autumn/seasonal inspired podcasts. Such a cute idea to mark your sock💕
How exciting and congratulations to you and your beloved, Nadine! 👏👏👏 I’m in NZ and would really enjoy seeing a pattern roundup/inspiration for Autumn or Winter. That’d be great. Thanks for thinking of it and we downunder folk!
Congratulations on your engagement how lovely! And such a pretty ring. Yes please to a southern hemisphere seasonal knit video. I’m in NZ so although not as warm as Brisbane still very relevant for us 😊
Congratulations Nadine, this is wonderful !!!Wishing you a very happy marriage ! Love your chanel and everything you do. I am in the north but would love to see seasonal round up. Thank you.
Joyous congratulations on your engagement! Lovely, special news. I love that you put a gold band on your sock to mark the moment of proposal. Vest looks perfect, I know what you mean with the bind off with fluffy wool, I made that mistake once, it was arduous. I know a few vloggers have upcoming seasonal knitting plans they discuss, and 'what's on the radar type of segments, which I like watching,.
Such wonderful news 😍 Big congrats from down in the Snowy Mountains. I agree that the seasonal round ups are so great to watch, it’ll be fabulous to see yours that will coincide with our season 😊
Congratulations on your engagement! Looking forward to watching you plan for the wedding, and if it's in the cooler months, what you'll choose to knit for your special day.
Congratulations on your engagement Nadine! Such an exciting time. All the best to you both you. Love your podcast and yes it would be great if could to do a seasonal round-up being an Aussie knitter too 😃x
Congratulations wonderful news, 💍 Yes please do a seasonal roundup, it would be great to watch one that matches our southern hemisphere especially here in Australia even though I live over the border in Melbourne 😂
Congratulations on your engagement Nadine. Love watching your projects emerge. Qld Spinners Weavers and Fibre Artists are having their Open Day on Sat May 11, Payne St, Auchenflower. Lots of vendors, shops stalls, BBQ, fashion parade etc. Corinda High bring their sheep and alpaca. Would love to see you there.
Congratulations! How special to have a pair of engagement socks!! So glad I found your channel, will be bingeing more. I am looking at making one of the My Favorite Things patterns which is how I found you
Congratulations on your engagement, how exciting. Knits for autumn sould good, I'm in the UK but it takes me an age to think about patterns, yarn etc so go for it. 😍
Congrats! Wishing you much happiness! I live where it's blazing hot as well, so I'm loving seeing how you knit for the heat. I'm a big fan of shawls and light sweaters for the aggressive A/C!
Congratulations! May your special day and the years to come be blessed with much joy! I would love to see an autumn inspiration video! I am heading into spring but am a cold weather girl, so I am already looking forward to knitting for fall.😂🍁🍁
Rejoicing in your happy news. Hope you have a great time together. Yes a opposite video is great. Tgen we might have finished it when the season comes up here. I actually need a monsoon knitting inspiration video. But no one does that. Have a great day
Hi Nadine, it was lovely spending time with you. A big Congratulations on your engagement, you make a beautiful couple. Thank you for sharing your engagement story with us. I loved the vest you made, it looks great on you. Your headband project really inspired me to make one. Take care
Congratulations! Your ring is so pretty! As knitters, I think fall knitting inspo is always welcome! Those of us in the northern hemisphere can just dream about cool weather knitting ❤
Hi Nadine. Great news about your engagement. You will be a most beautiful bride. Congratulations!! I really enjoy your podcast. It’s “heaps good” to have the opportunity to watch an Australian knitting podcast. I’ll look forward to seeing your wedding knits a shawl or a pretty bolero. I’ve also seen gorgeous Lacey shortie socks. So pretty. I watch you every time so whatever you decide to podcast is fine with me! I live in Mount Gambier in the SE of South Australia which has been incredibly dry and is getting chillier every passing day. Brrrrr. Kind regards Liz
Hahah the 'heaps good' made me chuckle!! Ooo those are some wonderful suggestions, I hadn't considered Lacey shortie socks but that would be so beautiful. And some nice symmetry with my 'engagement' socks! Gosh yes it is getting cooler isn't it. Time to rug up!!
Congratulations 🎉. Love the vest and headband. The yellow in the sock is so special❤️. I’d love a seasonal video. I never know if we follow the northern hemisphere or set our own trends ie Europe autumn fashion and colour trends are now ours? With viewers from different climates perhaps layering garments might be useful eg your vest. As you suggest might need to be a season ahead so slow knitters like me can have the item ready to wear for this year not next year😂. So enjoying your podcasts.
