Back when they played real defense, nobody completed 75% of their passes...Not over the course of a season....A lot of these guys are very lucky they came along when they did...
Ken Anderson is one of the absolute most underrated QBs of all time. He played for the freaking BENGALS and had an amazing career both before and after the '78 rules changes. He won an NFL MVP and led the Bengals to a Super Bowl berth. He should've been in the HOF decades ago

100% I have never seeen a fan base beat up a quarterback so much for throwing a game losing pick in a 51-48 game. In his prime the cowboys weren’t great, they had a few good seasons here and there, but for the most part the defense wasn’t that good. Romo Would be great all game and be the only reason that they are even in the game, then throw a pick at the end, and the whole fan base blames Romo, instead of the defense when if it wasn’t for Romo they wouldn’t have even been in the game. Brees is having these stats cuz he is relied on more on his team, which drops him imo. Brees has never had a great running game other than that one season Ingram was doing good, so he is relied on to pass pass and more passes. This pads his stats, look at all of his interceptions.

The last 2 seasons the saints defense were the worst in NFL history. You don't point how he stays leading the league in completion % with so many attempts ? That takes a great QB. Only misleading stat is passing yards cause a lot can come from garbage time. But the completions and completions % are legit. It tells you he's always hitting his targets and is pin point accurate.
Andrew Luck took an abysmal Colts team to the playoffs and finished 11-5, in 2010 Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers had the two worst defenses in the league and virtually no running game, one went 14-2 and the other won the Super Bowl, Drew Brees has always had a very good and deep group of receivers and played for an offense that focuses on passing, passing and more passing, the best QBs of all time always proved they could carry a team farther than talent allowed, Brees never has. Underrated yes, padded stats yes.

(Worse than the packers and the patts) he has been robbed out of 2 MVPs 2009, and 20011. Brees never had a good defense that's why he always has to throw up 40 points a game! No other QB in NFL history could throw up almost 5,500 yards and get a 71% completion rating. If you put Brady or Rodgers where Brees has been for the past 12 years, they wouldn't even be in the NFL anymore. Brady would be nothing without belicheck.
It's incredibly difficult to imagine a list containing NFL Greats, Warren Moon, Drew Brees and Bart Starr is about underrated Quarterbacks. Two of the three of these guys have been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame and Drew Brees will DEFINITELY be inducted into the Hall of Fame just as soon as he is eligible.

Jim carried the defense in some games - even in 85. He won 25 straight starts, the defense never did. Don't forget that Bart Starr still holds the record for highest post-season passer rating with 104.8. He played in the 60's, when the average overall passer rating was like 60-80. That's insane.

The NFL Network had Unitas's consecutive games with a TD pass as the most unbreakable record of all time. When Brees broke it, all I heard from anyone was that it was an overrated record. Brees is having these stats cuz he is relied on more on his team, which drops him imo. Brees has never had a great running game other than that one season Ingram was doing good, so he is relied on to pass pass and more passes. This pads his stats, look at all of his interceptions.

The last 2 seasons the saints defense were the worst in NFL history. You don't point how he stays leading the league in completion % with so many attempts ? That takes a great QB. Only misleading stat is passing yards cause a lot can come from garbage time. But the completions and completions % are legit. It tells you he's always hitting his targets and is pin point accurate.
Andrew Luck took an abysmal Colts team to the playoffs and finished 11-5, in 2010 Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers had the two worst defenses in the league and virtually no running game, one went 14-2 and the other won the Super Bowl, Drew Brees has always had a very good and deep group of receivers and played for an offense that focuses on passing, passing and more passing, the best QBs of all time always proved they could carry a team farther than talent allowed, Brees never has. Underrated yes, padded stats yes.

Ferra Torr are you shitting me!? This is the first year he has ever had a pro bowl WR, he makes receivers look good. Saints have always had a terrible defense. (Worse than the packers and the patts) he has been robbed out of 2 MVPs 2009, and 20011. Brees never had a good defense that's why he always has to throw up 40 points a game! No other QB in NFL history could throw up almost 5,500 yards and get a 71% completion rating. If you put Brady or Rodgers where Brees has been for the past 12 years, they wouldn't even be in the NFL anymore. Brady would be nothing without belicheck.

It's incredibly difficult to imagine a list containing NFL Greats, Warren Moon, Drew Brees and Bart Starr is about underrated Quarterbacks. Two of the three of these guys have been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame and Drew Brees will DEFINITELY be inducted into the Hall of Fame just as soon as he is eligible.

I think Jim Kelly belongs on this list.He got his team to 4 straight Super bowls, put up incredible passing numbers per year & did it for a long time. There are quarterbacks who haven't had anywhere near the success he's had from an individual standpoint or with a team & get waaaaay more credit & praise then him. I think he definitely belongs on this list or atleast as an honorable mention. 💪😎
