  • Continuing my Tutorial series for the PMDG 737-700 for Microsoft Flight Simulator from where we left off, we now proceed to taxi towards the runway for our departure from Prague.
We'll proceed through some final checks before going through a take-off in the PMDG 737 - covering all the basics, and keeping it simple and easy to understand all the way through!
A little tweak depending on where you read info across the internet etc for takeoff would be to set Takeoff thrust around 40-50% N1 and let it stabilise before hitting TOGA so give that a whirl too as it is more realistic. Since recording this, I've found further videos and documentation also advising this.
Further into the climb too, don't forget to check the cabin is pressurising properly!
I hope you are enjoying the series so far, share any tips/tricks you might have yourself in the comments below to help everyone out, click Subscribe and don't forget to give the video a Like!
The next video will focus on Descent, Approach and a Short Field landing into Skiathos!
Routing Used for this video series:
LKPR - Runway 06 - VOZ3E VOZ DCT LANUX DCT PESAT DCT BABIT DCT OLOTA DCT MAKED UL617 TSL TSL1C - Runway 01 NDB / LGSK
As a reminder, I'm no type rated 737 Pilot. In fact I'm using the information gained from many many different videos and putting the information in one easy to understand video for you to get the most out of your PMDG 737 experience - especially if like me, you started from 0hrs having never flown one in a simulator before!
