Cannot wait to be zipping around Europe in this thing! It’ll be nice to actually have a study level working aircraft where all the screens and buttons do something instead of the dreaded Inop.
Just happy to see a module release with wing flex! PMDG 737 will be lots of fun to look at that wing view. Great job with your videos and presentation!
Have you try or see then speed brake is armed then you land and left or right wheel touch down first shall speed brake be activated that should work did in FSX
I wish I knew as much about this game/flying as U. I really want to get into the game and tried numerous times but it always goes wrong. Iv played the tutorial and all sorts but still can't fly properly lol great video
awsome vid, super clear. How does one go about choosing waht time off aproach to do? Should i just do what simbrief tell me to do? so used to ils that everything else seems off, thanks.
Hello, I need some advice please, I bought a PMDG 737-700. I use Simbrief to create a flight plan, I have prepaid AIRAC. I enter FLP into FMC according to perhaps hundreds of instructions from RUclips.....after the start everything is fine. until I turn on the autopilot, I have LNAV and VNAV on, and the plane still does not fly according to the flight plan indicator, more precisely, it has an effort to lean, and the left or right are so small that the plane flies almost straight. There is no setting to hold the direction when the flight plan is activated....on other machines, this did not work for me, please if you know what I am doing wrong let me know....thank you very much.
just downloaded 737 yesterday and watched your videos extremely helpful , question years ago i purchased from pmdg their manuals for 737 NGX they should work in this version ? checklists Etc?
How are you liking the engine sounds? Spool ups, reverse roar, starting them up, etc. Should I expect satisfying engine sounds or am I gonna have to get a sound mod from ftsim?
Good question! Hopefully you've been able to catch a few live previews I've been doing with it - the engine sounds are awesome! Spool up and TOGA especially are so good
@@BritishAvgeek I’ve watched all your streams so far. Yeah I noticed toga and spool up is nice. It can sometimes be hard to hear though through watching another video. Glad to hear you’re enjoying them though!
@@christianmacdonald7468 yeah, the sounds are very nice so I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The beta preview build I have still doesn't have things like trim wheel sounds but that's being added too
Really enjoyed this set of videos - Thanks for providing them. I have a weird issue. The pilot's yoke doesn't move when I move the yoke but the First Officer's does. Any thoughts?
You're welcome! Is the yoke set to the full left position? I've heard a few saying they've had that in the last 24hrs which is very weird - not sure what to suggest tbh!
Hi british avgeek, great video, I'm confused about the Localizer part though, you put 326.0. I'm flying in the United states and my LOC is 110.75, the lowest it can go is 190.0, what do I do with that or am I doing something wrong.
Have you try ILS CAT 3 at any airport how accurate is Autolanding in MSFS? in FSX its very accurate ILS very close to center of runway then standard planes in FSX cant do that
@@BritishAvgeek In FSX I used more autoland my joystick was to sensitive, but in msfs I has better equipment and do most of times manual landing like in real pilot does, but if a plane can do perfect autolanding its quality of the plane at cat 3
Which file do I put the wx file in on the 737 ? Obviously you put your PMDG flight plan into flights plans folder but just want to know where you put the wx file? Cheers
Hey, how do you control the thrust reversers? I have a button for it on my HOTAS X which works with any other MSFS aircraft (Press the button, HOTAS throttle full forward to engage reverse thrust) but it doesn't work for the 737. I also can't do it manually by dragging the levers with my mouse.

Absolutely! The complexity and flexibility is remarkably good - and performance is very very good
I mean fenix a320 is more realistic and I
Still fly airbus 99.99% time but I also wanna learn the 737 to fly when I’m
Bored
Very enjoyable to fly. Your excellent tutorials helps me a lot, easy to understand + a real time saver, I learn so quick by watching.
Amazing to hear thanks Ronnie! Good to hear you're enjoying the 737 too!

Still one of the best tutorials for the b737, thank you!
Thanks! Great to hear 🙂
These tutorials are great - many thanks for taking the time to make them mate, they are going to be so useful, come day one! 👍
Nice to hear Ed thanks bud!
Hi, when I reach T/D, my aircraft simply doesn't start initiating the descent procedures...
It stays at cruise level and doesn't start descending.
You got me through my first flight. Thank you so much!!
Amazing to hear thanks! 😁 Here's to many more enjoyable flights in the wonderful 737! Cheers!
Enjoyed this set of vids, very informative
Great to hear!
Information overload :) Good stuff, love it !
Hope all is well
Very good thanks, hope you're well
What a nice plane
Sure is! 🙂 Coming soon 🙌
PANJ-PANC super beautiful in Alaska. Not used to VNAV, always think, can you trust ? Anyway, learning slowly
Awesome!
Another wonderful tutorial guide, thank you!
You're most welcome! Hope you're loving the 737 so far - nice update for it coming soon
Great video and many thanks. Could you possible do a FLCH take off sometime. I understand that some airlines don't do a VNAV one.
Thanks, I'll look into it 🙂
Have you try or see then speed brake is armed then you land and left or right wheel touch down first shall speed brake be activated that should work did in FSX
I think it's the weight on main gear that triggers it
I tried the pause at top of descent, it worked great. Downside is, I cant figure out how to unpause it! Active pause doesnt do anything. Any ideas?
no idea haha I never use it!
How do you calculate the hourly fuel burn?

Have you done tutorials for holds and missed approaches for 737-700 ? Must check, as I need to master that as well :)
You're always one step ahead - Hold Tutorial releases later today and Missed Approach tomorrow 🙂
How do you get the marshaller standing there without doing smt on the gsx tab
Where can I find the landing altitude?
awsome vid, super clear. How does one go about choosing waht time off aproach to do? Should i just do what simbrief tell me to do? so used to ils that everything else seems off, thanks.
It depends on the charts and each airports configuration too. Some smaller airports might only have VOR approach or RNAV approach instead of ILS
Do you know when this is going to be released?
Hopefully very soon 🙂 keep an eye on the PMDG forums for the latest announcements directly from the developers (link in description)
Happy Wednesday ☺️
I’m always ending up too fast, the aircraft takes very long to slow down even 20 knots with spoilers deployed. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
might just be leaving the descent too late and too steep
Where do I get Baro minimums from? It’s the only part of this aircraft I’m confused with
It's in the charts for the approach
Is it possible, to follow this tutorials, completely, by flying without any atc, and no navigraph subscription?
it should be yes!
@@Bareetnavn1 indeed! You may get different routes made with simbrief but you'll have to work around any missing waypoints/airways if they pop up
for the wind data where do I get that as I fly on xbox so can't bring from sim brief
You'll have to Google it 🙂 example - KJFK METAR

How are you controlling the 737? Been trying to think of issues that could be causing what you described but I have never experienced this
Hi...what camera settings are you using for the tutorial? I'm struggling with my settings..thanks.
How did it know what parking bay u was going to without ATC telling u where to go...or is there a guy at every bay in that airport?
For the tiny airports like this you can see down the apron and spot the ground equipment and the marshaller

Should do but there could be some differences. Check out the checklist I made on flightsim.to / my website britishavgeek.com/pmdg-737

check the data in the FMS to ensure the altitudes are set correctly for descent and add the wind data in for the descent forecast :)
