I had the pleasure of living this man's life. I was born in Holland in 1973 and when I started skating no one here new what we could do with a skateboard. We where only a small group and we skated day and night in the streets, looking for spots and parking garages and we where always progressing. I miss those days...

I knew Of Jay Adam's i Hung out with a different crowd. I seen on back when they were skateboarding around. Me and my cousin we witnessed. The greatness that Jay Adam's had All I can say is we were there and it was a lot of fun watching All the Z boys
I grew up skating and my style and view of skateboarding changed after I seen Lords of dog town and Jays style. This was probably when I was 12-13. I’m 26 now and I’ve been long done with skateboarding after a severe back injury. Everything is all about fame and money and social media popularity. It’s funny to watch lords of dog town and remember what it was was for me back then and even more so in Jay Adams time. There is a type of spark I don’t think I’ll ever experience again being young and dumb. I miss it and I don’t want to grow up.
All those people... not even realizing what an absolute legend skating past them...
To the skatepark
Right 🤣
It cuts off at the best part. Did anyone up there know the legend was stepping up?
Gem of a video, never seen this one. RIP Jay. Wish it had subtitles though...
Esk8 Jaimes thanks, I was going through some old footage and found it. I miss my friend.

Without him, there is no modern skateboarding. GFY dweeb
Did he invent the wheel?
It must be so annoying to be called an "Absolute Legend" all the time by young dorks.
Took off his hat so people would recognize him? No one did!😂😂😂😂
