Judge got it right on this one: People need to understand after the children are adults the child support reimbursed is just that: reimbursement for the money she already spent keeping a roof over your head, food in your belly, clothes on your back, water, electricity, birthdays, Christmas/ other holidays, field trips, medical bills paid...She covered it all & he didn't pay his half, or even the smaller 3rd they order of the absent parent's income meanwhile the custodial parent is paying 75% of their income on their children🙄...D*mn right that money is owed to the custodial parent to compensate for his part of what she already spent to take care of them. The child support belonged to her when she was young, the money was for food and clothing, since the mom paid double for her food and clothing, it means the money belongs to her and not the kids. She could’ve saved 50,000 if he was paying his half.
🤦🏾♀️Whew… these comments are interesting. A lot of ppl truly don’t understand how child support works. Child support is paid to the custodial parent, to support the child(ren); it does NOT go directly to the child(ren)… not even when they’re grown! In this case, the mother is being reimbursed for covering the portion of support/expenses the dad didn’t cover while she was raising their children; she is entitled to that money.
These "adult" kids think that child support should go to them for them to do whatever they want with. That ain't what it's for. It's to SUPPORT you. Help put a roof over your head, food in your belly, clothes on your back, extracurricular activities. And when it's BACK child support that means the custodial parent already paid 100% of everything and they're just now being paid BACK for it. That chick wasn't ENTITLED to shit! And she should have known that having 4 damn kids herself. Let one of her kids get a little older and tell her the child support should be given directly to them for them to use... GTFOH

I understand this situation perfectly. I am a mother, raising my daughter alone. I have a child support order, however I never get any payment. What children need to understand is the custodial parent who is shouldering all the bills is all that money belongs to. It is to take care of the roof over their head, the food in their stomachs, the clothes on their back etc. So the money does not “belong” to the child, it belongs to the household.
It's crazy that people don't get this. That's like saying that you also owe the kids money because instead of giving it to them, you used it to support them.

I hate when people misuse the phrase “blood is thicker than water” because it originated from the Roman warrior Spartans that cut their hands and shook to seal their brotherhood. In war, you saw your blood brothers fighting for their lives and you fought to keep them alive. It’s a statement that no matter who you are related to (the water that gave you birth), it’s the hard tried and true camaraderie with people you’re friends with that you suffer through thick and thin (thick is blood water is thin) … just crazy that this phrase is so misunderstood and misused
Blood is thicker than water is a proverb in English meaning that familial bonds will always be stronger than other relationships. The oldest record of this saying can be traced back in the 12th century in German. You are so wrong though.
When he asks opinions of people on the street you can tell who's taken advantage of relatives and who hasn't. The ones who say you should never sue relatives have taken advantage at some point, you can tell
Maybe, but they might also be people who have never been taken advantage of by anyone else so they just can't imagine themselves in that situation very well.

I receive back pay now and he had the nerve to call me to ensure I was receiving his payments... I said that $11 I get once a month?? Dude stop calling me your son is 29 now. The gorgeous skin on both of these ladies. Stunning. Now get your relationship back together... you only have one Mom and your littles need their Grandma.
I have a grandma on my stepdad's side of the family who has been making less and less money as she is getting older and working less. There are a lot of children in the family and she used to buy each kid around $60-70 worth of stuff each when I was young (she never discriminated against my older brother and I for not being blood related and coming into the family when we were about 8). With the new generation of kids, she can only afford to give them a few cheaper things and the now-adult kids just get a crisp $20 and some candy. She is wonderful and we are all super grateful for all she does, especially since she also is the one hosting the Christmas events and many of the family members still live with her in her large home. Everyone is grateful except for Courtney, one of her first grandchildren. Courtney has 4 kids and tells grandma that her kids wouldnt want to get the cheaper toys, so she just needs to give them cash instead. She also told her that she wanted this large sign with her name or something as her gift (I dont remember exactly what it was, I just remeber it was some fancy, custom made thing that was pretty expensive for grandma to get her). Grandma did what she was told and then Courtney, in the middle of Christmas, started screaming at her saying that it wasnt fair that her kids only got money and didn't anything to unwrap there. She said that grandma should have given them the money and bought them an expensive item to unwrap. She also complained that she wanted money from her ($100) to go along with her sign. This was all after months of Courtney getting grandma to pay a bunch of different bills for her and her fiance. She ended up storming off with her kids and leaving the party. Later, my younger half brother (he was around 9 at the time and i was in college) went up to grandma to give her our gifts. I had made her pumpkin cookies that she loved and my younger brother and I had spent the morning baking and painting Christmas ornaments for her. She ended up crying over the simple gifts and thanked us for thinking of her like that. She still had the ornaments (though they are a bit broken now and flakey from the cheap clay we used) and Courtney only pops up to try to make Grandma give her money.

When litigants walk into the courtroom, you can get a first impression of their character. The defendant had so much attitude in her walk, rolling her eyes, fidgeting with her scarf and sour expression. The child support payment of $23 dollars a month for 4 children was a joke. What judge agreed to that order? The father was wrong to call her and tell her that the mother came into some money. A little over $4K is not chump change. However, $4K in back child support for 4 children is NOTHING!! Especially after all these years. The mother was correct in loaning her money. The daughter probably thought she received more money she revealed. Even then the money needed to be divided between 4 people.
My mom owed $147,000 in child support and backpay. She just recently paid it in full, but it was ordered at $33.21 a week with the occasional $127 payment around holidays and tax season. I'm 29 now. The child support order was made when I was 3. Crazy how courts decide amounts like this is enough.
She was on your back because you didn't pay your debt. Neither a borrower nor a lender be. It's always bad news for both parties. That being said, never raise your hands to your mother it's bad karma that will follow you around for a looong time.
The defendant needs that smirk knocked off her face. You own life to your mother. Why would you expect your mother to support you, you have made your choices and your life is what you have made it. No one owns you a thing, you feel entitled.
Mom gets $4000 from back child support for a total of 4 kids, gives daughter $3000. Daughter justifies not paying her back because she feels it’s owed to her because it’s child support. The math ain’t mathing because of that was the case, your siblings were entitled to that money as well so you just gonna take their share as well? With this thinking all you’re “owed” would’ve been $1000 so you’re still in a deficit. She knew she had to pay that money back 😂🙄
The kids already seen that money YEARS ago when the father wasn’t helping. That father is MESSY. “Your mom about to run into some money” that hit a damn nerve for me!
Generation curses, mom had 4 unmarried and daughter follows in footsteps....smh You owed her money !!! Talking about what happened at the birthday party is not my the mother was angry, you should have showed up with the money in your hand..
At first I was shocked that they fought over the money and then the daughter started talking. Why would you let your deadbeat father put anything in your head about what should go where? It’s clearly reimbursement at this point, and if you have to lie and agree to pay it back to get it then you knew it wasn’t yours in the first place
Imagine NEVER taking care of your kids, then calling your grown kid and saying "your mom is coming into some money, and I hopse she spends it on y'all',
I don’t know what’s worse- the mother suing her child (but hey, if it was a loan, then it was a loan!) OR the daughter thinking “since it’s my mom, I don’t have to pay her back, that’s basically “child support” she owed me, OR they both agree to go on Natl TV for LOTS of people to WATCH THEIR MESS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES!! SMH!
Do the right & responsible thing & REPAY YOUR DEBT. This defendant knows that this $3.000.00 was a loan & she also knows that her mother is not rich & so she should want to repay her mother back. What you have done to your parent will be revisited upon you one day by your children. Believe it.
...If I was in the Plaintiff's shoes, there would be a lot of changes made in the dynamics of that relationship; changes that would leave the Defendant with much feelings of regret, remorse, and repentance. That girl is ignorant to the core. That money was to reimburse the mother for having to pay for her AND the children's father's contribution, and then he audaciously tries to make the mother have to spend HER money for the children TWICE.
Okay so everybody is talking about the daughter, the mother, but no one has said anything about the dad who told her that he was sending her mom back child support and make sure she give her some of it. He was wrong. She should have gone to him for help and not her mom since she and her dad had a great relationship as she implied.
Child support is to be paid current and to take care of the children. It’s up to the mother if she decides to share with the children after they are adults.
Her mom already provided by herself her childs.. Its her money now... And the Dad dare to call his daughter and tell her he hope that she gets something of that little part of money... The Dad to me is the worst but yes.. She ungrateful as hell 😬
My husband and I just got in a HUGE argument about this... Believes that the daughter SHOULD have gotten part of the child support because it was back support. I tried explaining 2 him that the Mother paid ALL of the support of the child and this money is meant 2 pay back the mom the extra half that she put in because he didn't pay it when he was supposed 2...He tried 2 argue that that money was meant for her. He said that the mom would have never gotten it if it hadn't been for the daughter...I tried 2 argue that it was like the mom paying $100 2 support the child. And now the Dad was paying back the $50 that he owed so it was the mom's because she had put in her OWN $50 on top of the $50 she is responsible for...It is 2 pay her back for his share. I asked him why the mom should have 2 pay her extra $50 that HE owes and then when it is FINALLY returned 2 her she is supposed 2 STILL give it 2 her child? Why? Why should she be obligated more than he is???
Girl, girl, girl!! I couldn’t have had that argument! I would have had to leave home to cool off! His thinking doesn’t seem even ALMOST logical. Keep your options open because this may be an example of similar arguments in the future 🙂.
I think the daughter has the wrong mindset on “child support” as an adult. My mom was also a single mom of 4 children and knowing the struggles she went through to keep a roof over our head and food on the table, NO amount of money could be reimbursed for that. It’s not a “gift” for the kids. It’s to help the mother care for the kids that the dad doesn’t want to.
That father was just mad his income tax was taken . He called those kids to cause trouble for the mother who paid for 4 kids . She already spent that money like JM said. Respect your parents we only get 1 pair and sometimes we get 1/2 .

Everyone wants to shii on the mom though and get over on her just taking & taking but never giving...
Whoo, I hope my babies remain exceptional angels & stay grateful for me, b/c in so many ways being a mother is a thankless neverending job...
Yes, I agree with almost everything you wrote!! Common sense just "aint" common anymore!
You're are absolutely right. I hope my two daughters never show the ungratefulness I see in some of these court cases. They're 12 and 7 and they definitely try me. Motherhood is a thankless job indeed.
Yes you spoke volumes there.👏👏👏👏
Well said.
@@isaidwhatisaid2750 Thank you. We know there's exceptions and certainly joy and blessings in motherhood, but sometimes I don't think people fully grasp the magnitude of what all mothers do (when we're mothering right...)
“I love my momma, I think she’s cute” followed by awkward silence ticked me 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol that part was adorable
Girl I died, I wasnt expectin it.😂💀
Lol it was really cute
Totally what my daughter would say🤣 (only that part, not the ungrateful attitude)
These are the same hood rich types that will spend $500 on a kids birthday but barely pay their rent.
And have no gas money for their vehicles
yea it was child support BUT you are grown that was back pay from what shes been spending since you were a child
This is why I never loan money to my kids... I give it to them with no expectations of repayment. Makes me feel good to help them.
I need parents. Will you help me? 🤣🤣🤣
Same as my parents do to my sister. Luckily they can.
Wonderful while you can. Great feeling.
Me too. My parents gave me money when I needed it, and now I give it to my kids if they need it. However I do recognize that we are extremely fortunate to be able to do that.
Those outside audience members were laughable, "never in a million years would I sue a family member; blood is thicker than water...Bullsh*t!!! This is the best way to teach an unruly, disrespectful child that bad decisions equate uncomfortable consequences!!! Great decision Mom! 👏 ❤️
I can't stand when ppl use "blood is thicker than water" when talking about family members. The real expression is "the blood of Christ is thicker than the water of the womb".
exactly! i was thinking the same thing 👏🏼👏🏼
It’s also ridiculous since if you don’t repay a loan to a family member… you’re the one betraying family. Not the person who sued you.
The child support belonged to her when she was young, the money was for food and clothing, since the mom paid double for her food and clothing, it means the money belongs to her and not the kids. She could’ve saved 50,000 if he was paying his half.
Chileeeeeee 23 dollars a week per child unless than 100 a week and he couldn’t be man and pay that. Pathetic!!! You gotta be careful who you lay with.
Wrong 23$ a week for 4 kids
More than pathetic. He just didn't want to pay anything
I said exactly this.
I don’t understand how any judge would allow that. Its absolutely disgusting and basically gives the man a free pass.
@@elizabethg0809 Easy, he was broke as hell. They do it based off income and he clearly had little to none.
Faaaaaaacts
Thank you!!!!!!!
GTFOH
Thank you! 💯
I hope that is exactly what happens because Karma is a 🤫
Yea.. girrrrl dads child support is for their pockets... and momma support is for EVERYTHING and it suppose to pay for whatever but better not use daddys 50 bucks for their cellphones or Jordan's, or fresh new hairdo's
@@TheZogie seriously!!! As if we haven't already paid 100% of EVERYTHING. Like that lil $90 a week is supposed to do what? That don't pay for a day of childcare. It don't pay for anywhere near a week's worth of food. It don't pay for all their clothes, shoes, toiletries, extracurricular activities. All of which we've already paid for in full. So scuzzzeee me if I use the money you're PAYING ME BACK, for whatever the fuck I need at the time. Especially considering you're only PAYING ME BACK like a 100th of what I already done paid. I know thete are women out there that abuse this. That don't buy shit for their kids and use the child support on themselves but those are few and far between the rest of us... F that.
You get one mom.. And being a mom isn't easy.. U have four kids yourself so u will see eventually.. Afford your mom some grace.. It's better to have peace than always trying to be right...
At least she said she loves her mom... There is hope.
Mom's be relentless. Black moms especially will go on and on. My mom is gone and I miss her terribly. However, that lady would get a hold of something she didn't want me to do (nothing dangerous and I'm way grown) and just keep going. I used to do stuff just in so I didn't have to hear he mouth but that went on well into my late 30s.
She's her father's daughter for sure
Yeah. Good for nothing.
LOL
Genuinely thought this was a dog case
Me too 🤣
I thought this was about a dog attack! Clickbait title.
Same 😂😂
So what if the gifts are from dollar tree?!
Exactly!
Right! Kids won’t do anything but break or lose them anyways
Her clothes
On top of that, maybe that was all the momma could afford after her triflin' daughter refused to pay her back her $3K!
That’s your mom money your dad just repay her for the part he didn’t do ntn
No it's the kids money because as parents they should go half
@@sammylove7211 your comment makes no sense. If they were suppose to go half and the man didn't pay anything, it means the mom was going full time support. So the mom is in fact owed that money
@@sammylove7211 what are you even talking about?🤔 The deadbeat dad didn't do his part as his kids were growing up, which means the mother provided 100% to raising the kids, so that money belongs to the mother 🙄
That's the kids money, you go through child support for help with the kids expenses the mom is not entitled to all that money. your a mom you don't get paid back, for deciding to be a mom. Money coming out your pocket including the Dad's is your job that's why it's called child support. Since they grown I guess she feels like it's her's and she gonna have 40,000 something still to come the mom also is selfish let's not just say the daughter is.
For the slow ppl in the back, even the judge agreed that the money would be for the mom. Hence why she got it back!
The way the daughter acted at the end during her exit interview really irritated me. That just solidified how she actually treats her mom. Her character is horrible .
I love how she called her mom, “short and pretty”!
Then at the end she said her mom is cute. 🤎🤎
On a positive note. They both have Amazing Skin! So smooth
And they both have an amazing amount of skin
Yeahhhhhhh that sounds like ur body shaming. And I dont want any parts of that sort of negativity and disrespect.. And if ur not...my apologies.
So, your step-father and mother supported you throughout your life and you listen to your manipulative father who was forced to give her money. You allowed this man to destroy your relationship with your parents. Sad. If I was in her position I would have been happy for my mother!
Daughter is entitled and spoiled!!!
Girl you need to pay your mom and also that was very disrespectful to put your hands on your mother She helped you out tremendously not Too many people will loan you a dollar these days
Condoms are cheaper
It's crazy that people don't get this. That's like saying that you also owe the kids money because instead of giving it to them, you used it to support them.
She was something else on paternity court and momma was right by her side and this is what you do to your momma. SMDH. Love and cherish your momma you only get one and believe me it's not an easy job especially with no help.

I highly doubt that coincidentally she needed $3000 for an apartment RIGHT at the time the mother was getting $4000. The chic is most likely on public assistance and in public housing. Bad credit or not, $3000 to move in is a helluva lot of money.
Daddy prolly told her to ask for the money
Idk where you live but here in Florida I have paid around 3 grand to move in. $2800 to move into my current apartment.
@@kay3221 For working people not on the system yea that’s normal. But she is a single mother of 4….likely on section 8 housing. That is a lot of money to get an apartment. No you're wrong. I'm in property management and that's not a lot to move in when u have bad credit.
@@blacknerdygirlsrock why are you assuming she’s on government assistance? Or in public housing? I get what ur saying, But just because you’re a young black mom doesn’t mean you’re on section 8. My grandma had 3 kids before the age of 23, & never once qualified for government assistances, all while living in the projects & having to pay 1000 rent in the 70s all the way to the 2000s. Never shove, touch, or even raise a hand to your momma. This was sad to watch. Hope they can figure it out as a family.
You’re very hopeful 🤣
Zero chance.
That's interesting. I was taught that the blood of Christ is thicker than the the water of the womb. Thanks, I have something to look into. Hagd
Blood is thicker than water is a proverb in English meaning that familial bonds will always be stronger than other relationships. The oldest record of this saying can be traced back in the 12th century in German.
You are so wrong though.

4G IS a lot of money to many people
It kind of is to regular folks, especially when it drops unexpectedly. Heck, I earn decent money and *still* got excited when I recently found out I won $100 in a random drawing. 😂
The daughter is lying and she feels entitled yet she has 3 siblings…
So the defendant grew up in a house of poverty and decided to become an adult to have 4 kids of her own in poverty. Make it make sense.
Clearly she doesn’t know about birth control as her mother also didn’t know about birth control.
I remember when my son's father finally did his taxes I received 12k. His did held this over my head for ever and I was like dude your son is 16 DO THE MATH. I receive back pay now and he had the nerve to call me to ensure I was receiving his payments... I said that $11 I get once a month?? Dude stop calling me your son is 29 now. I am glad I only had one kid and did pretty well finically. This young lady is confused about how all of this works. The dad is a deadbeat!
Technically at this point, it is the sperm donor repaying for his half of their upbringing, therefore it belongs to the mom.
He might be a sperm donor, but who gapped them big legs open for him over and over. Women take no accountability, for who they lay with them cry a river. Close ya legs to no good men
Exactly
Why did the money need to be divided between four people??? The money belongs to the mother who raised her and supported her, period.
My mom owed $147,000 in child support and backpay. She just recently paid it in full, but it was ordered at $33.21 a week with the occasional $127 payment around holidays and tax season. I'm 29 now. The child support order was made when I was 3. Crazy how courts decide amounts like this is enough.
lil girl if ya momma came into money for y’all only 4000 & you take 3 of it what did her & your siblings get?
get your 4 baby daddy’s to pay for your move! Where are your child support checks!!!! horrible to treat your mother that way!
4 kids SMH and bad credit And her the father to her children can’t even help her ? It’s a cycle … A BAD ONE AT THAT. I feel bad for the kids
The daughter loves court. She was on Paternity Court and the dude was NOT THE FATHER!!! 😂😂🐊

“A little meat on the grill or sumthing.” One of the best quotes in PC history 😂🤣
She knew she had to pay that money back 😂🙄
Their skin is gorgeous!
The kids already seen that money YEARS ago when the father wasn’t helping. That father is MESSY. “Your mom about to run into some money” that hit a damn nerve for me!
This is what happens when you always pick up your kids when they fall sometimes you need to struggle to learn for yourself.

Apologies, but I laughed so SO HARD WHEN SHE SAID I LOVE MY MAMA I THINK SHES CUTE😂😂 that's your MOM be grateful you have one 2 hug on!!
At first I was shocked that they fought over the money and then the daughter started talking. Why would you let your deadbeat father put anything in your head about what should go where? It’s clearly reimbursement at this point, and if you have to lie and agree to pay it back to get it then you knew it wasn’t yours in the first place
Daughter is definitely her father’s child..🤮🤮🤮🤮
Super fair judgement
Imagine NEVER taking care of your kids, then calling your grown kid and saying "your mom is coming into some money, and I hopse she spends it on y'all',
I bet he never thought twice about it… it’s sad that the daughter couldn’t see how her dad was being manipulative
So sad and pitiful when I see kids and parents suing each other
What I nasty father " I hope she spends it on you". The mom had to cover for you for year's
SMH!
The defendant is trying to not look entitled but is mad that the gifts came from the Dollar tree
Do the right & responsible thing & REPAY YOUR DEBT. This defendant knows that this $3.000.00 was a loan & she also knows that her mother is not rich & so she should want to repay her mother back. What you have done to your parent will be revisited upon you one day by your children. Believe it.
I disagree with the judge, child support is for the child/children no if ands buts about it.
‘ love u mommyyyy’ nope. So condescending
...If I was in the Plaintiff's shoes, there would be a lot of changes made in the dynamics of that relationship; changes that would leave the Defendant with much feelings of regret, remorse, and repentance.
You all see how that defendant was looking at Douglas like eye candy when she was sworn in? lol
Child support is to be paid current and to take care of the children. It’s up to the mother if she decides to share with the children after they are adults.
They have a full litter between them 🤣
The defendant feels entitled but how about you go after your kids father for child support for your own kids instead asking your mom
Her mom already provided by herself her childs.. Its her money now... And the Dad dare to call his daughter and tell her he hope that she gets something of that little part of money... The Dad to me is the worst but yes.. She ungrateful as hell 😬
Like Mother, like Daughter!! UNMARRIED BROOD MARES!
It always bother me when parents and children or siblings have to bring each other to court. just horrible
Wow!!! She really thinks she's entitled!!!!
