I am thinking about getting an airbrush, and I use a lot of army painter from before so this was a great help in finding airbrush colours. Thank you.
One mistake to NOT make with your airbrush setup that I did, avoid the really small tank compressors. Mine has a .3 litre air tank. When it goes empty and is filling which is constantly, it affects the pressure going out of the brush and clogs it up. I'm going to get a different compressor with a much larger tank to maintain psi more consistently.

Yeah, well I don't know what kind of magic you do but I always need to thin it first for it to spray well.
How did you like the war paint air primer as compared to vallejo or stynylrez?
Tainted gold is in the color metallics set. And rough iron is a normal warpaints acrylics color
I don't like the primer spray cans that much because they spray a larger sized particle of paint than an airbrush does. You end up with a bumpy textured surface due to many spray cans. The only ones that spray fine that I've noticed is Vallejo's spray primers. I'm looking forward to getting the full air line for home, then I can leave my original set at work for my lunch break and break time brush work. I'll miss the plastic trays cause I reuse them as a carrying case for my paints. Every recyclable box I've seen opened, the contents are all over the place.
Allready had a order in for the maga sett for a month now at my local store, but the mega sett is not the complete sett, that one is even bigger. And at this point i am more intrested in the contrast style paints they did the little video about

How do these work just painting with a normal brush? i dont have a airbrush however I really like the paints that are already pre thinned
They work great for that too. That’s how I use em as well

Looking pretty good and I reserved one, so what do you use to replace the army painter medium ? Vallero airbursh flow improver ? Vallero airbrush thinner ?
What is Army painter medium, whats its function? If you add the vallejo stuff, then always only 1-2 drop of the flow improver into you airbrush before you fill in the paint. Then bubble it short together with the paint. The Thinner has another function, usually you only need it when thinning acryl paints that arent airbrush paints.
Do you need to thin the primer down or are all the paints ready out of the bottle cheers
You can thin if you want, but it’s ready out of the bottle!

Been having problems with their air primer sticking to my minis. Even after cleaning with denatured alcohol it doesn't stick after drying.
That does not seem right. I would contact them and see what they suggest.
Try a stronger thinner to melt the pigments. Mr. Thinner works nice.

AK doesn't separate.
They also need to give us a bigger bottle for the airbrush paints. Airbrushing uses up more paint and these dinky bottles made for dinky miniatures don't cut it. I build bigger models and figures not itty bitty figs. I have to buy dozens of these little bottles. It would probably be more cost effective if available in bigger volume bottles.
Don't believe the BS that this paint straight from the bottle doesn't need thinning. I always need to thin it a little or it will clog my airbrush. Once it's thinned out it goes on great but not so much straight from the bottle.
Ah, I see, you do thin it a bit also. Sombody needs to tell Army Painter it's not good practice to lie to your customers about the characteristics of their products.
