As far as I can tell, Naruto and Sasuke are both suffering from Gohan Syndrome in Bort. They've been at peace and haven't had to use their full power for so long that they just can't reach the heights they did at the end of the great ninja war. That's my view on it anyway.

@@blackfrieza1912 My thought is that people on or past Kaguya's level would not be as much of a problem for the two if they had kept up with training over the years, but in times of peace they didnt need to train or be nearly as strong as they once were and got weaker. Even Sasuke, who was actively going around and getting in fights probably never had to exert himself or even try in order to win.
But this is just my view of course, and you're certainly allowed to have your own view.

Isshiki could literally toss one of these spikes into his face and then expand it and Goku's just dead instantly. ONLY reason he didn't do that with Sasuke and Naruto is cause Sasuke's Rinnegan could partially track his attacks enough to dodge them.
