“Jjk starts slow” first episode introduces the main villain, then the strongest of the verse, while starting off with intense horror/combat

@@CrashMaster345 most of the 1st chapter is characterizing Itadori. It's only slow if you're there for the fights.
From what I understood, Toji knew he was a piece of shit and the only hope he had at raising his kids was doing so with his wife, but she died and he knew he couldn't take proper care of him, so he sold him and went back to his old life.
Toji sold him for that reason and because the zenin wouldve taken better care of him than he couldve
Yeah Toji was supposed to be a better human base on random manga lines with his wife, specifically because he got the sense of belonging to something.
There are no words to describe Toji. The one who not only, avoided child support, had a hit on a child, but also came back with the milk just to mess around and then run his sons fade just for the heck of it.
Not for the heck of it, he didn't really have control over himself, as when he was resurrected, he only had the instinct to go after the strongest, Dagon was the strongest in the area at the time and after Dagon was defeated, Megumi was the potential strongest.
I almost misread that as "hit on a child" like CJ didn't mention that??

In Japan among rival clans. Or if you are a threat to your own clan. Often your most valuable children would be taken as hostages for collateral. Or you could sell them if they have value. They were treated fairy well by their kidnappers though. Tokugawa Ieyasu was a hostage child.
Toji ain't that bad of a dad. He couldve been as bad as Bondrewd, but Toji knew he wasn't cather material and gave his son a chance to have a better life than he couldve provided.

Maybe I’m forgetting something but I don’t remember jjk having hella backstories, I remember three at most and one of them did take up most of the episode but other then that jjk doesn’t have that many backstories Aaron kind of tripping with this one and jjk doesn’t start that slow obviously you gotta get to know what’s the show about and how the power system works.

Aaron if you don’t stop all that lying they’ve only had 3 backstories so far and were only longer than 2 minutes shoot two of them were in the latest episodes and JJK is not slow, obviously the show has to have us get to know the characters and power system.

I'm with mikey on the beginning of jjk. Its slow, unfunny, and sleep inducing until the first jumping scene. Then it gets really good.
I don’t get this…. The first episode has a fight scene then either the 3rd or 4th episode is the sukuna and megumi plus itadori vs the special grade fight scene, then after we learn a little more about curses, curse users and the curse techniques, There are plenty of funny moment in between. theres the gojo vs jogo fight And then we’re introduced to more characters and see the megumi and todo fight…ANYWAYS my point is there aren’t many dull moments in jjk and there are plenty more exciting fights that happen. most of the not so interesting stuff that happens is stuff you need to further understand what’s going on and without it you be lost
