The amount of rage I felt when Amber dropped "I figured it out" was astronomical. Then there are smooth brains saying this is perfect black representation, I was like no - this is TOXIC.
no they're right, this is perfect black representation. for them, they're projecting, they think they are cool and awesome. however, they're are literally a toxic minority of the minorities.
In the comics when he finally told her she was like "oh thank God, I thought you were a drug dealer" Like they have a really good relationship. And the rest of the show is SO GOOD. I'd ask what happened, but we know what happened.
Amber is representation of every self absorbed and narcissistic person that believes they are always right and good because they occasionally do good things. The worst of it is when she goes to Mark’s house we after she watched Omniman beat his ass across the planet, and then goes, “I guess I wasn’t the only one being lied to huh?” Like b*tch how selfish can you get, those cases are not the same.
Speaking of representation, I'm Black mixed with Chinese and Native American. The reason I said that was because, the moment Amber started feeling herself, I was so heated I started yelling at my tv saying, "you're too black to be acting like an early 2000s movie white chick". 😑
It's not a problem to make a bad person as a character, it only becomes a problem when the show and every character in it, treats it like she's in the right.
Imagine being mad at someone because they want to use their powers to help ppl😂 Also I feel the difference between Lois and Amber is that Lois actively gets called out by those around her and while she doesn't change right away it's gradual and it's quite clear the writers are giving her a constant character arc. Amber never gets called out at all and even defended by other characters
In the comics she found out and was completely cool with it they even dated for a while after she found out The only reason they broke up was because Mark's double life became too much and they drifted apart but they ended their relationship on good terms
Yep. Still baffles me that they couldn't just swap her race but had to make her more of a protagonist and failed so bad because they wanted the "smart enough to figure it out herself" moment together with the "she can do no wrong" trait.
Like literally, Amber, in the comics, was more worried about whether or not Mark is doing drugs or something, and even talked to Eve and Will, Mark's friends, about her concerns, and felt relieved when she learned the truth. Instead the animated version is just more angry and spiteful, gaslighting Mark into the idea that he's in the wrong for keeping his superhero life a secret, and yet, kept the idea that she knew the entire time that he was Invincible and never confronted him about it the moment she knew, and let the problem fester.
Lois didn’t always know that Clark was Superman, and her character matches that-unlike Amber. Second of all, Lois was trying to learn more about Superman to become a better reporter and educate the world about him, so she felt lied to. Amber is angry about Mark leaving to save the world? WHAT?! 😡
The worst part for me is when she goes to his house after watching him get the dogshit beat outta him by his father on national tv and then goes “Guess I wasn’t the only one that was lied too” 😤 Afterall this sh*t she still finds someway to make it about her.
My main question for her is, "Why didn't you just break up with him after you found out?" Like, she has to know that these issues that are clearly deal-breakers for her, like the secrecy and the flaking on dates, are inherent complications of his job that he can't change, so what is she waiting on? Was she expecting Mark to decide on his own to throw away being a hero just to be with her? All she had to do was just sit down with him and talk. She just had to say something to the effect of "Look, I know you're a superhero, and I get how important that is. I just can't handle being with someone who's always going to be obligated to put me second. I'm sorry, but this just isn't going to work out." If she did that, I'd have no problem with her, but she just sat on this problem for weeks and let it fester until everything ended in the worst way. That's to say nothing of how their BS drama screwed Will and Rick completely. Will lost his boyfriend, and Rick got turned into a lobotomized cybernetic abomination all because Amber couldn't be cordial and avoid taking unnecessary risks while they were clearly still in danger, and Mark failed to prioritize correctly (and yes, I do partially blame Mark for blowing Will off there).
Yo I feel Aron's rage, the little detail of her knowing about Invincible for weeks prior completely ruins any kind of positive opinion you may have had of her.

20:31 It took me until my adulthood to understand Jenny's character arc. Shortest explanation I can make for her case. Jenny didn't want to do to Forest's child like innocense, that her father did to her's. And when she thought she crossed that line. She fled from him ashamed. Because she thought she had finally become what she spent her entire life running to escape. Her father. She was struggling with that monster all her years. It took having a child of her own and realizing her expression of love was far different from her father's. And with realizing her time was fading from the world. She tried to correct some mistakes she made in two of the most important people in her life. By making sure they had the love they deserved. Where she felt short in providing herself, as it took the near end of her life to finally understand and feel it for herself.

The craziest part about this is that in the original Invincible comics Amber is a completely different person, like different race and everything, and when Mark shows her he’s invincible she doesn’t act like this Amber from the show, she understands and forgives mark and it continues from there
The worst part about her getting mad at Mark for not protecting her at the university is the fact fact she knew he almost died and yet she still expected him to worry about her. Even if she didb't know he was a superhero, she still knew that he almost died by getting hit by a bus and was still recovering so she should not only know that he wouldn't really be able to do anything about the situation. Heck if she didn't know it was stull a regular human against a super cyborg.
The wild part about Lois in this case, is that she said she hates liars cuz of her dad, but ends up being that which she despises from the first episode. I forgot the psychological term or phenomena but I thought that was interesting to take note of. Though I don’t think it was completely intentional on the writers part since no other character called her out for being a liar, but it really would’ve been interesting to see her checked for being what she hates.
i genuinely believed that amber knew mark's hero identity from the study episode (ep 2 or 3) When mark was getting a phone call that kept ringing, she then stepped out of the room to use the bathroom. But I dont think she went right away because one ; when cecil showed up, the teleportation sound effects were loud and neither mark or cecil were being quiet with the conversation either. Its obvious that she evestropped from the door and heard them talk. No wonder cecil said "dont worry, she hasnt flushed yet"
I swear. Opening for season 2 better just be Eve using her powers and changing Amber’s whole structure and change her personality and just make her into comic Amber completely
Aaron getting angry at a tv show is relatable as hell! Happens to me every time some dumb character does a stupid thing. It’s hard writing a good side character, and Amber is just a miserable to watch. Edit: I rambled lol but eh something’s make my blood boil, like Amber 😂
18:54 when he said pull her ass up it reminded me of the scene of bright burn where he’s pissed that his mom betrayed him and he just drops her and proceeds to pull a homelander with a plane full of people honestly think to her this would be deserved besides the plane part 🗿
I’m amazed that they didn’t mention the fact that William literally lost his gay crush to the cyborg guy and it was all because invincible’s mind was on Amber… which in a way kinda makes the death of Williams love Ambers fault😅😂
I’m just thinking of all the names people would call me if they found out that I blackmailed a girl that like me and made her give my number to someone I wanted to ask out for me and then justify it by saying well she was a bitch
I cannot describe how happy I am to know that I'm not the only one who wanted that bish ahh mf, Amber, to get the Mark treatment by Omni Man. Thanks you guys. 🥺🙏💓🔥💯
Mark is the equivalent of Superman's kid trying to fill his shoes with the example that everything works out for his dad but not him. Amber does not try to understand him. She manipulates him by showing interest in things, knowing that Mark is going to ditch and buy her things for one. Two, she tried to make him feel like being a hero is bad, and saving/helping people instead of her made her feel stupid and unimportant. Third, she compared Mark keeping his identity from her to Noland lying to the earth, his family, and friends that he was here to help and not an undercover agent sent to enslave them to an alien empire.
So basically Amber is a villain. Aaron I get you , on the anger towards this C U Next Tuesday character. I feel that anger. Just let it go, she Ain’t worth it. Lol😂.
Aaron's rage is justified. Also, Lois is toxic, but she at least is more of a character than Amber. I dunno why these modern day soy-chugging writers love writing women as toxic twats without the callouts, though.
Sad truth is that 99% of the human population acts just like Amber or Lois with the exception towards family and old friends, even then they act like Amber more often than not.
Dude I HATED her...WHY would Mark tell you his alter ego and they JUST STARTED DATING? WHO WOULD DO THAT?! And she KNEW and made him conflicted about his issue!
I'm hoping against all hope that in season 2 they fix this by acknowledging the bullshit she pulled and call that out. They meant well but didn't realize what making her so smart and "selfless" made her so selfish and self centered. But if they acknowledge that they can pretend like they were planning for this pay off.
As a woman, I totally agree that Amber and Louis were both toxic. I will say that Amber is way way worse and really pissed me off when I first saw invincible but like… they’re both toxic for sure. Still love Louis at least but I’d never date them😅🤣 can’t say I love Amber since she has absolutely no forgiving qualities… I’m the kinda girl who likes all genders and so I’ve had plenty of toxic experiences with both guys and girls… even though most of the people who’ve hit on me were guys, the girl’s toxicity I’ve come across is unrivaled… well besides maybe like a few guys I ran into that were extremely selfish and possessive and power hungry. Besides that, women are usually the ones doing that which is why I usually just don’t date… I’m sick of toxic people😅 They believe they deserve to be in a relationship even though they’re obviously not ready for a real relationship and only want it for the wrong reasons… meanwhile I get a lot of attention from a bunch of people because they think I look pretty and I usually don’t feel like I deserve a relationship because I know I’m not ready for one… tons of people say I have lots of green flags but I know I have stuff I still need to figure out… maybe I’ll never be in a real relationship😅 I might be ok with living with that… Talking to my straight female cousin… she was like… guys are so toxic, we give them everything and they leave us with nothing… and I’m thinking… wait huh? What are you giving them?😅🤣 don’t be a prize to be won ladies, just be yourself, same goes to men💜
Agree with the Amber stuff, but nah I disagree with the notion everyone around Mark conspires against him and he’s flawless. The show goes out of its way to show that, at first, Mark tends to care more about acting like a hero and doing stuff that’ll get him the most praise (a lot of this is forced onto him by Cecil but the point still holds true). I like Mark, truely, but if I were to name the most realistically heroic hero in the show, it’d have to be Atom Eve, it’s not even close. Once she leaves Teen Team, she literally goes out of her way to help the average person instead of doing the government’s dirty work. Does it backfire a few times? Sure, but she tries to balance saving the world AND trying to better the lives of individual people, a blind spot in Mark’s heroism (for now?). This is why Invincible is a great show. It’s not just “heros saving the planet from some crazy threat series 738,” it depicts the very real up in your own ass type mentality super heros would realistically have if the popularity gets to their head. No I’m not saying Mark is like that, not entirely. He actually rebels against what Cecil tells him to do at times, which is neat and I’m eagerly awaiting more of this character growth in the latter half of season 2. TL;DR - All this to say I disagreed with the specific connotation Mark is always at odds with his friends and they never had meaningful things to call him out on, that all.
hey man respect to the guy narrating he said no matter how much of a peice of crap your partner is you dont cheat bro if people could stick to that imagine how different things would be how much self respect leading to respecting others would increase..ok i said my part continue

Also she made the whole night about herself when William was kidnapped and his boyfriend was turned into a cyborg 🙃
Thank you I needed this. I never seen the show once I got to 5:46 I heard enough
Aaron wtf this is the best video ive ever seen. aaron made my day with this thank you guys🤣🤣🤣
Oh my god! When me and my brothers saw *THOSE* scene's we all exclaimed WHAT?!?
Also Soup kitchen??! Girl I'm saving the your clientele!
The wild part about Lois in this case, is that she said she hates liars cuz of her dad, but ends up being that which she despises from the first episode. I forgot the psychological term or phenomena but I thought that was interesting to take note of. Though I don’t think it was completely intentional on the writers part since no other character called her out for being a liar, but it really would’ve been interesting to see her checked for being what she hates.
i genuinely believed that amber knew mark's hero identity from the study episode (ep 2 or 3)
When mark was getting a phone call that kept ringing, she then stepped out of the room to use the bathroom.
Props to the editor for this video. I love passionate they get and would be a loss without their content. Thanks for looking out for them
Amber is so bad (By bad I mean not sxy bad) getting mad at my boy for "abandoning her" OOOOOOH I MAD AS AARON RIGHT NOW! 🤣
20 secs in and Aaron already getting heated🤣
Absolute GOAT video. Amber is for the sewers.
I swear. Opening for season 2 better just be Eve using her powers and changing Amber’s whole structure and change her personality and just make her into comic Amber completely
lmfao, imagine the screeching that would ensue if Eve turned her white
Aaron getting angry at a tv show is relatable as hell! Happens to me every time some dumb character does a stupid thing. It’s hard writing a good side character, and Amber is just a miserable to watch.
Edit: I rambled lol but eh something’s make my blood boil, like Amber 😂
Dude Aaron was definitely anticipating on this roast of a side piece character that screaming is legendary
18:54 when he said pull her ass up it reminded me of the scene of bright burn where he’s pissed that his mom betrayed him and he just drops her and proceeds to pull a homelander with a plane full of people honestly think to her this would be deserved besides the plane part 🗿
Yeah i doubt that Amber video is gonna drop for Aaron. This has to be the most heated ivr ever seen him be😂
I’m amazed that they didn’t mention the fact that William literally lost his gay crush to the cyborg guy and it was all because invincible’s mind was on Amber… which in a way kinda makes the death of Williams love Ambers fault😅😂
Everything you said about Lois is true. But she realized later her mistake and apologized for it. Did Amber ever apologize to Mark? Nope.
5:55-10:29 My boi Aaron’s get mad 😂
7:57 OMG 😆
I almost couldn't watch a video with amber until I saw it was Internet City that posted
God Bless Aaron. I ain’t alone in my vehement hatred for this character.
Aaron is the voice of the people, because the HATRED IS REAL
Amber doing blackmail was indeed a red flag. Like, was she too good to give Mark her number herself.
I’m just thinking of all the names people would call me if they found out that I blackmailed a girl that like me and made her give my number to someone I wanted to ask out for me and then justify it by saying well she was a bitch

'Bish what part of a secret identity don't you understand?'
'Well, obviously the core concept'
I feel Aaron’s pain she’s one of those characters that make my butt itch she makes Sakura look useful in Naruto shippuden
I have never seen Aaron this angry before, damn!!!! bruh...
the amber effect
@@CottonCargo ok
I cannot describe how happy I am to know that I'm not the only one who wanted that bish ahh mf, Amber, to get the Mark treatment by Omni Man. Thanks you guys. 🥺🙏💓🔥💯
I did not know i wanted this video but im glad its here cause how long has it been since we've seen Aaron descend?
Bro's hung up on battle beast xD "did you see what that furry did to him". Love yallz man
Mark is the equivalent of Superman's kid trying to fill his shoes with the example that everything works out for his dad but not him. Amber does not try to understand him. She manipulates him by showing interest in things, knowing that Mark is going to ditch and buy her things for one. Two, she tried to make him feel like being a hero is bad, and saving/helping people instead of her made her feel stupid and unimportant. Third, she compared Mark keeping his identity from her to Noland lying to the earth, his family, and friends that he was here to help and not an undercover agent sent to enslave them to an alien empire.
my man's reaction to this brod is amazing if everyone had a friend like him the world would be awesome
The writers really dropped the ball on Amber, in the comics she was fine with it and relieved because she thought invincible was a drug dealer.
So basically Amber is a villain. Aaron I get you , on the anger towards this C U Next Tuesday character. I feel that anger. Just let it go, she Ain’t worth it. Lol😂.
Aaron’s hatred of Amber is stronger than my hatred of Nami
“THAT TIGER PULLED OUT A 12!!”🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fun fact in the comic she understood no idea why they changed that here
Fucking writers ruined another character
Aaron's rage is justified.
Also, Lois is toxic, but she at least is more of a character than Amber. I dunno why these modern day soy-chugging writers love writing women as toxic twats without the callouts, though.
Sad truth is that 99% of the human population acts just like Amber or Lois with the exception towards family and old friends, even then they act like Amber more often than not.
From how far I've gotten in the comics Amber is the exact opposite of her animated counter part.
Dude I HATED her...WHY would Mark tell you his alter ego and they JUST STARTED DATING? WHO WOULD DO THAT?! And she KNEW and made him conflicted about his issue!
The myth the legend
Jimmy
I'm hoping against all hope that in season 2 they fix this by acknowledging the bullshit she pulled and call that out.
They meant well but didn't realize what making her so smart and "selfless" made her so selfish and self centered. But if they acknowledge that they can pretend like they were planning for this pay off.
As a woman, I totally agree that Amber and Louis were both toxic. I will say that Amber is way way worse and really pissed me off when I first saw invincible but like… they’re both toxic for sure. Still love Louis at least but I’d never date them😅🤣 can’t say I love Amber since she has absolutely no forgiving qualities…
I’m the kinda girl who likes all genders and so I’ve had plenty of toxic experiences with both guys and girls… even though most of the people who’ve hit on me were guys, the girl’s toxicity I’ve come across is unrivaled… well besides maybe like a few guys I ran into that were extremely selfish and possessive and power hungry. Besides that, women are usually the ones doing that which is why I usually just don’t date… I’m sick of toxic people😅
They believe they deserve to be in a relationship even though they’re obviously not ready for a real relationship and only want it for the wrong reasons… meanwhile I get a lot of attention from a bunch of people because they think I look pretty and I usually don’t feel like I deserve a relationship because I know I’m not ready for one… tons of people say I have lots of green flags but I know I have stuff I still need to figure out… maybe I’ll never be in a real relationship😅 I might be ok with living with that…
Talking to my straight female cousin… she was like… guys are so toxic, we give them everything and they leave us with nothing… and I’m thinking… wait huh? What are you giving them?😅🤣 don’t be a prize to be won ladies, just be yourself, same goes to men💜
10:38 💀😭

I gotta say, Aaron got HEEAATED!!!🔥🔥🔥
Don't blame him either
@@rippedcougar7774 I DON'T BLAME HIM! AMBER'S TRASH 🗑!

I literally hate Amber so much. She’s so annoying why do they make her like this.
OMGGGGG it’s 2:56 am (and I’m supposed to be sleeping) I’ve never been so laughing so hard so much in my life thank u Aaron!🤣😭🩷
hey man respect to the guy narrating he said no matter how much of a peice of crap your partner is you dont cheat bro if people could stick to that imagine how different things would be how much self respect leading to respecting others would increase..ok i said my part continue
Would love to see their reaction to watching an Amber defend video
And the writers make it seem like her behavior is ok
The moment it was said she studied "4th wave feminism", I knew the woke writers had created a monster.
Amber is the definition of toxic and manipulative like she knew he was a hero and that his life is literally protecting the world and she still blamed him and played victim
an Amber red flag, you could say it's an Amber alert
Bro. I couldn't. Amber is a realistic depiction of some people out here. And the worst part is that I don't think she was this bad in the comics. It's actually fucking crazy how people can defend her. I could never...
They are just revealing themselves as people who would do the same shit.
People who defend her are definitely narcissistic abusers themselves or supporters of narcissistic abusers. Amber has no redeeming qualities, I bet the only reason she works in the soup kitchen is to make herself feel like a good person as well as praise by her community.
Idk how I missed this reaction, love the show adaptation and fairly recently bought all 3 compendiums bc I couldn’t stand waiting. Also wanted to read the whole original story. This was fantastic
And spoiler, Anissa is gonna come back on DEMON TIME😭😭😭
Bro straight up facts but bro Aaron got me wheezing at this part, 7:34 nigga said that tiger pull out a 12🤣
3:13 wasn’t expecting to see Mark Goldbridge😭
That lion got Aaron feeling some kinda way! lol
Starting to see why mark turned evil in so many alternative universes, having to put up with that would dry anyone crazy 🤣🤣🤣
my favourite moment, don't pull out the nine, HE PULLED OUTA 12!!
I see the title and I’m instantly just like: valid
Its not even a minute in Aaron already loosing his mind, the anger reach above 100
Amber = Modern day feminist
Amber brings so many memories of my childhood and school days. The girl that loved to get on ya nerves. Literally witchcraft 😂😂 and yes he is right amber is a bad influence. Amber lowkey a villain. 😂
