I just got a 2024, and am loving it. I was a long time jeeper for the last 12 years and had fun doing mods, but am excited to find your channel. I love everything you've done to yours. Thanks for the motivation, and posting the links!
Following bro. Combat vet here as well. Love the setup. That 589 mini fighter bumper is what I really need. Thank you for the video. Keep us updated. These trucks are so new there isn’t much for them yet.
Sweet build! Love all your mods! Just got my 24 trail boss. Slowly adding. Just put on my Diamondback SE cover. Definitely looking into your bedside. I use mine for work too.
Nice video. Fellow Hoosier here. I just have the WT model but I'm thinking about doing some of these mods. The LED headlights are probably first on the list. Thanks for the ideas!
Got my Canyon AT4 a few months ago. Been trying to find the best fitment without a lift yet. Are your wheels 17x9? Also how has the leveling kit affected ride quality?
Thank you. It's pretty common. Usually dealerships sell it with the purchase of a new car. It depends on the size of vehicle and if you go with heated seats but it usually ranges between 1200 and 3000. A truck this size is usually around 1800
Great vid..I have a 24. Put matching canopy bed slide..2 inch rc level kit. Now back end squats with the weight of the canopy..rtt and bed slide. Store change back to a timberance block .think I need to do more ..add a leaf..you recommend changing the shock? What about air bags? What are your thoughts.. and what are those front sleeves for .I have 24 zr1 with 33s now on it ..thoughts
The front sleeves are to prevent bending or breaking tie rods which were a common weak point. I had sagging in the rear as well. Ended up doing a shackle instead of a block, did an add a leaf and icon shocks. The shackle and leaf helped with rear height and shocks helped with ride quality with all the weight I carry. Bags aren't a bad idea. Depending on what you use the truck for
Looking good! I really like that awning but I don’t have a place for one currently. I just put surface mounts lights on my Prinsu roof rack for fire department response, so I don’t know how an awning would jive with those.
I just recently bought a trail boss and was wondering what you use to stick the trail boss decal on the inside? Will be subscribing for future colorado videos!
@@TonyTheTechnician And the length? I was thinking 8 or 10. Yeah, I seen your reply about the OEM steps and searched before asking, but couldn’t find them. Was it from the Chevy Accessories website? Thanks!
I just ordered the mini fighter 10-12 weeks out🥺 NBD they must and should be popular. I got the new weathertech HP floor liners and they are worlds better than the hard plastic ones of yore. I also got their bed liner and it fits like a glove. Do you think clocking the release handle forward on the SCAR would make it easier to work with, or is there plenty of room as-is? Anyway, thanks for the videos, I really dig that bumper.
Thank you. I have no problem getting my hand in and accessing it. But if you have beat paws it might make it easier to access as long as the handle doesn't make contact with anything after clocking it 👍
Haha that awning and that slide are my 2 favorite purchases I've made. 🤣 omg I knew as soon as you posted that video of your swing out you were going to end up getting the rigd. Bc you got a taste of how awesome it could be but just not as nice as it could be 😄 Dang brother I'm jealous. I can't wait to see it on your truck!!!! I look forward to that video!!
do you have a link to the trail boss logo you put on your dash? i am looking to do something similar for my z71, but noticed the ones i see online are all too large to fit that middle space.
Nice build! I like what people call oem+ and this seems like it's that style. Looks like it could have come from factory, nothing too wild - just nice!
Thank you. Exactly!! That's what I try to do with my vehicles. Small custom things that really change the look but isn't to gawdy. Really glad you recognize that as well. Thank you!!
I really don’t know what happened to the Gibson exhaust release. I saw a video back in September 2023 saying it was a month away and now it’s been crickets
You should check out LHT Performance. John bought a 2020 Colorado and replaced the V6 with the V8 from a 2020 Silverado and gets 30 MPG on the highway with a tuned naturally aspirated engine. I got a lot of ideas for my second gen Canyon from Justin on Horsepower Obsessed. When Justin had a red Z71 and then a black ZR2, he made some great videos like how to waterproof aftermarket taillights.
Just got my 24 Colorado Trail Boss about 3 weeks ago. Coming from a Jeep it’s a huge difference and couldn’t be happier.
What jeep did you have? I'm in the air on what to get
Same here, 2012 2 door wrangler to the trail boss. Hell of an upgrade. Tons of creature comforts and still reasonable on performance

Thank you I really appreciate that. And ya I know what you mean. Seems some stuff has been dropping this week and soon to come.
This is my favorite Colorado Trail Boss. Didn't know you were an army Vet as well. Hell yeah brother keep up the sick build and vids!
Thank you I'm really glad you enjoyed the video and like the build so far. Thank you for your support!!

Best moded Colorado I have seen. Great job. New subscriber!
Thank you. I really appreciate it 👍
Hello again, Tony
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 Son. I am impressed with all the options you installed on Trail Boss. She looks great 👍
Thank you I really appreciate it and I'm glad you like it. 👍
@@TonyTheTechnician You are most welcome ☺️

Holy shat, that wheels and tire setup is beautiful
Thank you!!
Nicely done. The seats look factory. Will be getting those
Sweet job!
Thank you
Apologies if I missed it, but could you tag the link for the tonneau cover? I think you mentioned REV, but what do you have or recommend?
Hello fellow Hoosier! I bought a '22 Colorado Z71 in September. Had less than 8k miles on it. Practically new. Looking for ideas to customize it.
How much did reupholstering cost? I've rarely ever heard of people doing that. looks great!!

Thank you! That's part of the colorado package. I think it's called the stow flex tailgate.

Hey Tony, what size RekGen mud flaps did you get? And can post a link for those size steps? I’ve been searching for something like those. Thanks!
I went with the 12 inch wide rekgen mud flaps. The side steps are actually one of the oem gm side steps.

Ok I got to know about that HP tune and where to get it for my 24 Z71
I have a 23 that had different power output options for the engine. I believe 24 and newer all came with the high output tune
Oooooh ok, mine has the 310 hp and 420 torque, is that what you went up to?
@@kyleedwards9056 yes indeed
Well I guess I just need the blow off valve and S&B cold intake now
Which bed length racks did you get? The 5ft or 5ft6 length?
What length rci bed rack did you get?
What’s the front suspension for the weight?
What running boards you have ??

Is there any way to put a license plate on the bumper
I looked on the RCI website and I could only see a 12” high rack. Yours looks closer to 15-16”
Mine is the 12 inch with Tonneau cover brackets which Raise it 3 inches

@@TonyTheTechnician exactly! AFE doesn’t sound terrible. Borla seems insanely loud but you get all the turbo noises. Others are just meh
Agreed!!
Bada** truck, I just wish regulations didn't force these small turbo engines into everything. There's no replacement for displacement 😁
