      @@alrethianscraftsbattles played y first game of necromunda yesterday... was a BLAST. I did realize I need more zone mortalis tiles though... only have the box of 4

      @@-VOR awesome 👍. It is a dynamic game. Yeah that is the thing that bothered me as well. The 4 plastic tiles gives little room to create big scenic "sets". And necromunda is perfect for bigger terrain with lots of cover and such

    The drywall tape is genius. Maybe even to get the diamond pattern for the Harlequins I've yet have to paint. Love your content!

      Hi mate, nice seeing you here 😁👍. Thanks a lot. Glad you liked them. Yeah they are a cheap and easy way to weather terrain pieces and it works on everything.. even on miniatures. Currently working on the next episode 😉. But due to work i am running a bit behind.

    Tip for beginners - making a little square template out of cardboard/plasticard with a square hole inside makes it very quick to run a pen around the inside to mark the individual tiles. Bonus if using plasticard is you can also drill template holes to make the rivet imprints and they will be in the same place for each square.

    Sticking a 12x12" peel and stick vinyl tile on the underside will prevent the foam from warping and add some weight so it wont move around freely. They are very cheap at a home improvement store for an average of $.99 cents each. Thank you for creating these tutorials, have been very helpful and influential.

    • @alrethianscraftsbattles
      @alrethianscraftsbattles  2 года назад

      That is indeed a very good idea. I played with the idea of an mdf sheet but I try to keep everything cost efficient for all.. but the vinyl tiles are a fantastic idea 😉👍.

    Wow. Thank you. I have been thinking about making the ground cover for my 40k group for a while now (i was opting for the "painter's drop sheet method"). But these tiles looks amazing. I think i will add some 6mm cork tiles underneath for sturdiness, and add some magnets to stop slippage. But this is a project i am starting this weekend. Thank you

      Thank you very much, glad you liked the video. Dropsheets are great but I lile the tiles too as it can be used to create elevations as well.
      That sounds great, corktiles and magnets are a fantastic idea. Have fun building, it is a fun project. Thanks for watching 🙏

    Found your channel recently and love the videos. Great ideas and great work. On your tile video I noticed that your cutting mat has centimetres up and down them so how come you didn’t use them instead of a ruler when you marked out the 5cm grid. I’m thinking it would have been much quicker.
    Ps. Your Doors video is so cool. They look EPIC. 👍🏻🤘🏻👏🏻🔥

    • @alrethianscraftsbattles
      @alrethianscraftsbattles  2 года назад

      Thank you very much and welcome. Yeah, I am so used to use a ruler that I automatically grab it instead of using the patterns on the mat. I do use it from time to time though haha.
      Thanks and glad you like the video's 😉👍.

    Very nice but that's a lot a lot of work.. I think I'd use a 3d fdm printer and just let it do the hard part lol. Good effort though

    • @alrethianscraftsbattles
      @alrethianscraftsbattles  2 года назад

      Yeah I hear ya 😅👍...but you dont have to do 9, I Just did it because I am going to need them to Play on a 90 by 90 cm board...and do battle reports. You could Just make 4 for a Quick game of necromunda. But it is idd time consuming...especialy the dry time soaks up some time.
      I dont own a 3d printer yet hehe...so I have to do the hard labor myself.
      Thanks for watching and glad you liked the video 😉👍
