What a cool paintjob. Looks absolutely dope. Some would undoubtedly say that the look is too clean for ZM. However, I am of the opinion that having a mix of well maintained (relatively) and dilapidated sections is much more visually striking. I am totally stealing this.
Thanks very much, always great to read comments like this! It is the plan to have more weathered sections - this would be the more upmarket area! Steal away!
I spent waaaay to much time on micro details on the first brick and realized it looked worse than when i got lazy and just did heavy washes on thr other tiles. But your hazards are sooo good!
I did wonder that myself! As a full board I do love the look of mine, but I’m pushing it when I said ‘Easiest’! Thanks for the compliment on the stripes, sometimes things just work! I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Cheers.
That tile really came out well and I think the orange water looks great in the last finished picture. Those hazard stripes look great and I think you don't have to worry about your membership into the Iron Warriors!! Top finished 👍
Thanks, i'm really happy to have them underway and I think they'll make a good base for my hive. I've been second guessing myself since I published, because there are so many great looking tiles out there, but I have to remind myself that my way of doing things is to make them easy, not necessarily the greatest! I appreciate the kind words.
I really enjoyed this video mate, nicely presented and what a paint job. I’m trying to come up with an effective scheme for mine so may use yours. Subbed!
Thanks very much! They’re one of these things that have been hanging around my room for ages, so I just decided to face them head on and get them done. I’m very happy I did. Thanks for the sub and good luck with your tiles!
Yeah, I wanted to airbrush the big panels for a smoother finish, so the trim had to be done by hand. Maybe hyperbole on easiest, but it’s not too time consuming at all for a pretty decent finish (in my unbiased opinion).

Amazing walkthrough! Really happy with my results!
That's great to hear, i'm really glad it may have helped. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Looks like a lot of fun.
It was. I really enjoyed painting my Necromunda terrain. Cheers!
Really nice video, think I'll adapt this for zone mortalis walls too. Thanks.
Thanks! I still haven't decided how i'll do my walls. Thanks for watching!

@@TheHalfDoneHobbyist It is going to be great to see the Squat gang and the land train parked up on them along with the containers!
I may have tried them all together. I’m pretty pleased. 😬
Great work. Thank-you for the tutorial.

This is great! 😃
Thanks, very kind of you! I'm very happy you liked it.
Love the paint scheme and the finished tiles. About how much tire black would you say you used on each tile?
Thanks! I’ve used maybe 1/3 of a bottle on two tiles. I hope that helps!
@@TheHalfDoneHobbyist Thanks
My next project
Good luck! They look great when they’re done, no matter how you choose to paint them.
Looking forward to a game on your board once I get my finger out and paint my Corpse Grinder Cult
Hurry up and get them done!
This man said “easiest”
Ok, maybe not the easiest, but if you swap the airbrush for a big brush it’s doable! Thanks for watching!
@@TheHalfDoneHobbyist lol I'd be lying if I said I wasn't in the middle of following along right now. Thanks for the video.
Amazing! I hope it is going well!
Your easiest way is to brush paint all the trim manually? lol
