Whatever minor flaws you considered yourself to have made, it is still a fantastic gaming board and I'd be honored to play on it.
Thank you! :D
This is a masterclass in corrugated cardboard.
I just realised who You are and how amazing the stuff is You do, thank You! And yes, it certainly is!
Very cool. For cross stitching mesh, look for plaster mesh tape for drywall. It's cross stitched and sticky.
The sand in your grey basecoat adds a lot of texture, it’s like being inside a leaked nuclear reactor, not a mistake - a lucky accident! This tutorial is my favourite on RUclips for making this sort of game board. Thanks !
Thank you very much!
Despite all the "mistakes" in your process, holy crap you wouldn't know from the final product. It's freakin' epic!
Glad you found the mesh. Cross stitch mesh is a pain in the ass. Glue and paint doesn't stick to it at all. You did yourself a favor.
Spray it with primer before glueing
Thanks for not hiding the mistakes, so we can learn from yours :]
Love the project
Keen for more
Subbed, liked and shared
Great job. I hope some video game designer uses this for a map.
Spackle is an excellent scale concrete surfacing. It may be called filler where you live, or something else entirely I haven't heard before.
Yes, in my new Videos I used a lot of spackle, you're right!
If you want your spackle to last longer on your game board mix about 25% PVA or Elmer's Glue in with it. Dries hard like a rock
Your honesty is so refreshing! Very entertaining!
i personaly think that fans and community like this with this passion and love for killteam/40k are the main reason GW is still alive thanks for yor work
Very cool board! I like that you show us your "Errors" and tell us how we can dogde it
i know it would be a nightmare to play but id like to see a full sized battle report with the scale and size of this to make it look more realistic and not a open table with a few buildings here and there
I hope you make more i love this video and the game bored
This video inspired me to make my own similar board!! But, instead of the plaster I found that using a texture mix worked really well.
The mix is made with Baking soda, Multi purpose glue (Elmer's school glue lol), and paint (for color of your choice).
Use more baking soda to make it more grainy looking, and maybe even add tiny rocks for rubble texture.
So, so good! Reminds me very much of City 17 from the early parts of Half-Life 2, worn down and broken, but still possibly lived in by poor souls eeking out an existence somehow
Man! Fantastic work! Really awesome what you got. Personally I like the dark color you got on before the second drybrushing.
Pointing out your mistakes is a way better way to learn how you can build your own epic terrain. I mean there are loads of videos about building on the web, but very few actually point out what to avoid. Congrats man, keep up and stay safe. Happy New Year!
Thanks!
Cool bro! Good idea, great terrain! Thanks for video!
Super cool! Great work
enjoying the iterative process of your build. The layering of multiple effects really adds up.
Man oh man that board looks so cool!
What a great board you created! I was sorry to know you had a few disasters along the way but in the end you wouldn't have known. This is a great inspiration, well done.
I don’t think the initial wash was too dark.
Also, love your soundtrack!
Thanks!
This is surprisingly good camerawork for such a small channel, good work!
What an amazing build 👍 I think I may try to recreate this at some point for my games
Dude this is Awesome!!!
This is amazing! Really inspirong stuff
Great terrain board build! I might try copying it because it looks amazing!
This looks great! It's great inspiration as well for my own gameboard project. I think you did an excellent job repairing the few mistakes you made over the course of the texturing and painting. The end result is wonderful.
Nice job. Very satisfying to watch.
From basic cardboard, this build is amazing! Well Done!
it looks awesome! Thank you for the inspiration!
Looks great! Thanks for sharing
This is amazing. I would pay good money for something like this. Absolutely outstanding work.
nice work! I love how leveled it is, makes for a more dynamic game (: keep it up!
It sure does, thank you!
What an incredible board
Bet the games on this are fun
This turned out great!
damn that's some fine terrain here, I'm probably going to use some of the ideas you showed there, like the simple shape you made at the beginning for the board itself, never thought about doing it that way, but that seem really handy
Do it!
Mate. Epic work
That looks awesome! Great job.
This turned out really good!
great work! the silos were genius
Thank You! They're my favourite part too! I might be building these again, as some standalone scatter terrain.
Dude, well done!
Respect mate...that took dedication to build that piece. Love it 👍👍👍
YES, BE A TERRAIN CHANNEL 👍👍 YOUR STUFF IS GREAT👍👍👍👍
Wow! That is an Epic board I would love to play on it!
Thanks!
Just made my version in 22x30, great video and inspiration, thank you

Danke, war aber n FSJ Kärtchen ;D
Excellent & inspiring! Subscribed!!
Thank You!
Completely outstanding! I would live to play games on a board like this!
Then just build one, it in't that hard, but it takes time. I had this board laying around for halv a year before i finished it.
Really cool build!
Just found your channel. Absolutely fantastic gameboard build love it..New subscriber here...👍
Thats an awesome board, great work!
Thanks!
Amazing work!
Thank you!
Awesome build mate. I'm doing one myself. I'm a bit surprised the cardboard holds everything and although you mention warping I expected so much warping the board could not be used.
Again it looks very nice!
Thank you!
it inspires me to make my own gameboard :D I would like to see a game played on this!
Thanks! But i'm sorry to tell you that there is no gameplay in sight. But i'll think about it.
Wow!!! Cool!
It looks sooooo good!
Nice done, really nice🤘
great work, I like it
Using a cheap knife sharpener to make your scalpel blade sharp... You sir, are a genious!
Cheap sharpener for a cheap blade, just enough so that everything works! Thank You!
Amazing work!!! Congrats
Thanks!
Wow is awsome!!
It looks great.
Awesome board for necromunda
I took my main inspiration from necromunda boards, so it sure is!

Wow 😍 amazing
Thank you!

Amazing!
sugestion if u like, do every part separate paint and than assemble all in 1
Dude that’s cool
Beautiful !
That is a really awesome gameboard.
Thank you very much!
Turned out really nice.
Thanks!

Well done!
Thank you!
Amazing 🤩
Well done
Just great!
Thanks!
Great video! Subscribed :)
:D thank you very much!!!
Well done. Subscribed.
Thank You!
I want to see some videos of this board in action!
use modge podge for the concrete finish!
AMAZING
It looks realy cool but the scale is a little bit off. Most people forget how big Space Marines are. When building a board, it is better to use imp guards for measurements reference
You are right. The scale is off. I did not pay attention to a "realistic" scale. I opted fot playability. I wanted my Marines to fit through the doors :D ,this is why doors and windows are so big, and this is why I placed most ceilings at about 3'' height (even though they shold be higher, placing minis in there is'nt fun...).
But i should start using Imp Guardsmen to check if my scale is alright. Thank You!
Have you tried joint compound for cement texture? I add some mod podge, either in or after it dries.
impressed
Deserves more subs
I agree XD, thank you!
Superb scratch build. Great stuff )O(
I love it
Hey Brother Great Job on the Video...
Thx!
I work in a cardboard factory... I might just do this
Really nice board, loving the attention to detail.
Thanks!
This is amazing. What kind of paint you suggest to use for painting the table itself? Using Citadel paints for this kind of thing would be too expensive.
Craft paint, like Apple Barrel or Folkart.
your hatches look great, try using sewing snap buttons, these look like hatch latches.
Airbrushing could be really useful to paint the base paints?
All well and swell...The question still remains tho, how in the name of Cheesecake one goes about the storage problem....:_)
