Me and my wife prepared our first home made cappuccinos today, and you don't have idea how much I needed this in my life, really made my day, thank you so much!
this was so helpful, so many videos like this leave out the minor details like milk temp, pouring the milk, coffee coarseness etc. i appreciated this!!
Thank you for the exact measurements and temperatures. I was overheating the milk and couldn’t get a froth. Thanks to you now it turns out delicious !!!!
This is so precise and very helpful! You guys are very humble by saying "we're no experts" while the majority of us don't even get the first try of latte art you did. Will give it a try!
Thanks for taking the time to make a clear and well produced video. Who knew I had all the components at home. I'll be saving a little money now, thanks
I am SO excited to try this tomorrow morning- thank you so much for the tips! Very clear and concise :) I'm sure it'll take me a few times to get it right... I'm ready for the adventure!
Thank you, have fun trying it! You are right, it may take a few attempts to do it right but don’t give up. Also, for coffee, you can use AeroPress or Moka Pot instead.
Nice background music... I found myself head bobbing and dancing to it I had to watch the video 2 times. And your instructions are very clear and well presented
I followed the instructions step by step and I loved the result. Easyly explained and great result! Not a master in the pouring process but I will learn! Already subscribed for more content like this one.
This was fantastic. A much needed one. At first I thought that's too much coffee. But the shot turned out to be great. Also added hazelnut. This is perfect. Might invest in an expresso machine in the future. But until then, this worst perfectly. Thnaks Guys!!!
I tried something similar in the past with no great result. Now I see why, I used the regular V60 brewed coffee with no proper brew ratio for cappuccino. I couldn't make any latte art consequently. Anyway, I'll try it again. :) Thanx for inspiration.
Thank you for the video! I'm a fan of European style! So, I got an espresso machine - Breville infuser. Keep it up, can't wait to watch your new video!
Thanks for all your great videos. Have you or anyone else in the commentary section tried to make it with aeropress prismo The recipe is 20 gram coffee to 50gram water
Thank you! We would regularly do either Prismo or just AeroPress (original recipe) and it works great - we have also Cafflanno ”espresso maker” and from what I heard it is even better suited for espresso-style coffees.
G morning Aleš txs for clear and concise video making a cappucino with a frenchpot...quite pleased with my first effort...will use a bit more coffee grind next time. My artwork was not arty at all😂😂😂...tried to do the tulip.....but will have to go back to the drawing board😅😅..
Thanks so very much for this! I love using my French Press but I love espresso + milk combinations. Now that another French Press is on the way, good to know that it can be used to make milk-based coffee without the need for an espresso machine! Will try this soon! ☺️👍🏻☕️
I made again foamy milk today but I heat it to around 60-70 (without thermometre). I know milk is more foamy just by heating it too much. I made too many egg milk taste to my cereals too often before so I know how it behave when its evaporates. I don't make more than two teaspoons of coffee. I use filter to make around 1/4 of normal size cup and making same thing to prepare milk. I did actually two times today and after seeing first result I changed it and took out foam from milk after beating it in glass. Result was really tasty. Better than in automatical coffee nmachines (cappuccino, latte etc). I added a little of brown sugar and got tasty effect. I had to try it out, because I really like cappuccino but my espresso machine got problem with pumping water. I tried to open espresso but it actually gone worse, because E company made one screw that isn't even philips's one or volvo's. I saw I can pump water to pipe but they are not going to up but bottom where is this screw you can't unscrew without screw driver that matches -|- this pattern. I feel like I lose so much time to clean everything after making cappuccino with none espresso machine method but it is worth it, if you are starving so much.
Hi, I have the tools needed for this! Btw, how you remove the bubble after frothing the milk with french press? Because that bubbles will mess up my latte art.
Thanks for the video. I was wondering if the recipe can be adjusted so that one doesn’t need to use so much coffee. 30g for a small cup of cappuccino, a bag runs out pretty quickly!
@@EuropeanCoffeeTrip I have tried. The coffee made from this recipe is delicious, though it doesn't seem to be a particularly economical way to make cappuccino! Thanks for sharing
I tried several times but I didn't succeed. Honestly, I use oat milk, barista version, 3% fats, which I warm up in microwave between 52-60°. I use a small french press, a pitcher, and a moka pot which makes 2 coffee. The press just make lots of big bubbles. I also tried using cow milk but the cream improved just slightly. So I guess I make more than one mistake. To me it looks like the cream is not uniform, meaning it is half liquid and half too thick. Any suggestion, please? I want to try following your coffee (30-35g)
Based on what you write, I would try not to bring the plunger over the layer of milk too much (perhaps just at the beginning, then keep it under the surface of milk). That introduces more air/bubbles to the milk which is not preferable. Also, once you are done, you can swirl the French press, that way you can mix more thick and liquid parts of the froth. Hope it can help you out.
Sure, it should work the same if your alternative milk is “foamable” - there are barista version of many brands we know that optimize for both taste and combination with coffee. Give it a try!
I use almost same method, but the final ready coffee does not end up hot enough. I fear that if I’d microwave it, the micro foam or taste would be ruined. Any ideas what I can improve upon? Thanks

Lid on for 4:30
150ml milk

Just posted this for myself to come back to.
I took a screen shot so I can make it this way every morning. Thanks
Thanks, bro
Thanks for this, stranger
Thank you very much
thanks!

Amazing! Thanks for sharing that ☕️😍
My wife and I made today as well. We’re gonna make it every weekend
The milk frothing technique is so helpful. I've been doing way too many presses and end up with just thick foam. 15-20 times is good! Thanks so much.
Try this one for cold brew: ruclips.net/video/4GvK8ZPAz1k/видео.html
this was so helpful, so many videos like this leave out the minor details like milk temp, pouring the milk, coffee coarseness etc. i appreciated this!!
I completely agree, I really liked the details information!
Thank you, Sophie! Next week we should post another video about a different way how to make cappuccino or flat white at home.
For me, making the coffee is more of an experience than drinking it.
Great video
Thanks for showing that "french press pressing" technique. 3 to 5 press and then 15 to 20 without going to the top.
Cheers! I hope it will work for you.
Wow.. I tried this morning..and got a very strong cup of coffee..many thanks..God bless.
Thank you for the exact measurements and temperatures. I was overheating the milk and couldn’t get a froth. Thanks to you now it turns out delicious !!!!
Amazing! Thanks for letting us know ☕️🖤
I’d be curious to see James Hoffman try that!
He already did. Look up "James Hoffmann moka pot"
@@AyAy008 Thanks
be like : its not even close to a proper cappucino 🤣
god this is so detailed from the temps to the number of pumps required to aerate the milk. Kudos

I used 14g of very fine strong ground coffee and felt VERY awake. I had a feeling that f I used 30g I'd die.
I barely feel anything when I drink coffee
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Best recipe I have tried with a French press, thank you
hasta el momento, el mejor capuchino en francesa que he visto. Felicitaciones
I just applied your technique and I’m so impressed! I love my cappuccino made at home!👌🏽
The first video I watched on your channel has a very sincere understanding, thank you.
Thank you!

Tried this at home and it turned out so good! Minus the pretty art 🤣. Thanks for sharing!
That's so nice. I will try to prepare coffee using French press to create Irish coffee and cappuccino as well. Thank you very much!
Cheers, hope it worked for you!
I liked how electric guitar started to play when Yakub came in, just like how the main character’s friend sometimes comes to save him! Great video
Haha, thanks ☕️💙
I find the milk frothing details useful. Shall try that!

Thank you for showing how to pump the milk
Tried it and it’s really good! Exactly what I was looking for
Finally a video that show French press with a espresso like ""ratio". I'll try this later!
This may be the cheapest way to make actual good coffee. I needed this ty.
I didn't know it was this easy. I enjoyed thevid, I'll try it tomorrow.

I tried but the coffee was too weak, I'll definitely retry with your tips and maybe do it with Moka pot.
It’s so nice and manual proses in making coffee.

The latte art should work though, but the taste would be more diluted since you have a very low concentrate of coffee
I love cappucino. .. thnaks for this video

You can look into manual espresso machines like Flair

Sure, that’s a good alternative for a strong coffee base!
So cool!!

Jakub Saturday?
such a long time ago i was in Olomouc for 6 years. really miss czech republic
isnt it becomes cold while we are trying to ready the milk
how about using drip coffee maker? can I use it for making iced latte or iced cappuccino? as I do not have espresso machine maker. cheers
Amazing! Btw, which grinder would you recommend me?
Thank you guys do much for sharing I'm going to try this one ❤️🙏❤️
Nice. Can I use moka pot instead of french press?
Sure, Moka Pot or AeroPress - it should be much easier. For this video, we limited ourselves to French Press only.
What exactly we expect from the final frothed milk? . When I use the frother, usually I made the foam so thick. Should I lower the thickness?
Yes, you should lower the thickness. Swirling in a jar before pouring will also help to incorporate milk & foam.
I use almost same method, but the final ready coffee does not end up hot enough. I fear that if I’d microwave it, the micro foam or taste would be ruined. Any ideas what I can improve upon? Thanks
Thanks for the video guys , I will try it for sure ! I know it only looks easy Lol
