I miss Mere in the videos too. I didn’t expect so many comments about her and the kids on this video. We just had some weirdos that made us realize we don’t want the family to be famous. Kids and wife are doing great. We are raising them to have normal lives, free from worrying about all the problems that come with being famous/recognizable. I know you all understand, and I appreciate all you normal people who have watched us all these years and support our decision to hide the family.

We all miss Mere in the videos but I absolutely 100% agree and support both your reasons for them and the kids not being included in your videos. At the end of the Day Mere is a mom and the kids are everything and should be protected at all costs. We can't get rid of the few that would sometimes without thinking just appear out of nowhere. But I have to admit that Tattoo Mere is absolutely the best substitute for Mere. And Mikey man has he ever grown 😂

@@Hard_Rightno, it hits us hard because long term viewers of off the ranch kinda watched the kids grow up. Some of us don't actually have a family or kids of their own so we kinda experienced having a family vicariously through Matt.
Yes we are all well aware that they're not our kids, but we cheered accomplishments and milestones just the same.

Aren't all those pewpews supposed to protect the family? Thats the usecase i'm allways told when i try to understand that aspect of the US. Seems like the majority of comments is quite aware of the fact, that the simple act of removing the family is necessary and way more effective than the big collection of pewpews. Don't get me wrong, i am a big fan (of this channel), i understand the change, would have done the same and wish all the best. But it's stunning that all the comments about "protection" dont see how deeply ironic that is.

it has nothing to do with Mere and the kids getting away from the camera. Apparently there was an issue with some stalkers or something, and she is no longer on camera as a result. same or similar situation is why the kids are not on camera anymore either.

I typically don’t have the attention span to watch videos this long but this one was cool!! It kept me interested and it was so cool going back to see the recap of videos in the past. What I respect the most is how Matt, Mikey, and the rest of the team aren't afraid to roll their sleeves up and work on every aspect of the ranch.

Who needs a base though? A base can be attacked. But spread out like this it is impossible to get us all. Also, there are four times as many subscribers here than there are police. And still larger than all law enforcement branches in this country combined. The Demolitia is the world's 5th largest military, based solely on subscriber count alone. Maybe 6th?

I’ve been watching these videos when Matt looked like a kid before a million subscribers . Never once did I ever think people would be weird about the family. But fame brings out all the weird people I guess. I completely understand and wish nothing but good things for Matt and his family. Crazy watching this almost 2 hour vid, and realizing iv seen every single one of these moments, from the start. But also watched the entire mansion build and that flew by as well. Cant wait to see whats coming in the next year.
Yup. I loved watching the mansion build. That was a fun ride and I always looked forward to the next video. Then watching the start to finish final video was awesome as well. I do wish we could get one more updated video on the mansion after everything was done on the inside. I know we saw a lot of it, but I believe there was more that they wanted to do. Maybe he will do one if the family is out of the house one day.

It’s sad the family isn’t in the videos anymore but I absolutely respect that decision and I think it’s the responsible decision. If they end up wanting to be on RUclips when they are adults that’s alright but it’s good to let them have their privacy while they are still young. As for the resort it’s coming along. Heck it doesn’t seem like a ton was done when you look at it but then you go back you realize the enormous amount of work that’s been done. Can’t believe it’s been a year of work so far. So many discoveries and so much work already done.

Bolt ladder rails into the rock to climb out of the pit. Also have them raise the bucket up to the larger room and then shorten the rope.

Wow it isn't until you put this sort of video together that you really see everything that has been achieved in this first year. I remember the first video with you giving Mere wine glasses to celebrate this new adventure and she kept smashing them. I miss her and the kids in your videos but I do understand why. It's a shame that a few bad apples have spoiled it for the rest of us being able to see Mere at least share this adventure with you. Please tell her we do miss her. My wife and I have 5 kids. We Have followed you since the beginning! We were sad when you stopped doing vet ranch. It was great watching your kids grow. Same age as 3 of our kids. We really miss seeing the family videos, showing good Christian values, parenting etc. But we get it. Its sad, but understandable. We were really hoping to meet them in Vegas last year and spend a few minutes with you all. But with all the craziness, you getting there late and rushing to get things ready, no family etc. It wasn't a possibility. Maybe some day haha

Really cool. NGL I am not gonna watch this because I have watched every episode the day they release but I skimmed through it for a refresher and its still really cool that sits been a year and to see the growth has been awesome.
Should cover the hole because of 1) rain, and 2) safety. But the covering may be some kind of door and ladder/lift to get down more effortlessly.
BTW, you should consider to USE the hole as your vine cellar, alternative to modern cooling or super protected spot for a bunker. EACH and ANY use of the space will get the price of your property UP.
Maybe you could do a collab with Lockpicking Lawyer or a similar channel to open those locked doors...
LPL has tried to get a colab going with Matt for a while now.. I’d LOVE to see it! Both here and the MAIN channel!!
