With a beautiful house like this it compliments the furniture and the interior so try not to cheap out on the furniture unless you’re flipping the property.

Let me start off by saying this is the first video I’ve ever seen of yours and I can honestly see I watched the entire video It’s definitely a big task to take on a burn down house. I personally helped with a burnt down kitchen and living room & it was a lot more work than we thought it was gonna be. As a few people said before I loved the old pillars it made it look like a mansion, and now it just looks like a really big house, but it definitely wouldn’t look right with the interior but overall, you did an amazing job. I just wish I could have found it months ago so I could’ve watched along week to week
Hi Mike you, your wife and everyone involved with rebuilding your home have done an amazing job considering what it looked like after the fire, well done, and I've subscribed to your channel
Aw thanks Jenny! We sure get some hit and miss comments here so appreciate you taking a minute and throwing some encouragement our way. We've actually got a new video dropping tomorrow (!) and are working on something cool for season 2 so stay tuned for more 😱
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 absolutely amazing work! That was a hellacious experience, and they completely understood the assignment and knocked it out of the park! Hard working team! Awesome selections made!! ❤❤❤
Wow, amazing job. For my feeling, the old house worked very hard to pretend something it wasn't, while the new house breathes a sort of relaxation as if it says I'm finally home. The only thing I don't find a good fit, are the few arches upstairs, although modernised. I think square edges would have extra defined the new style. But I would be more than happy to think about that every morning while walking down those stairs for the rest of my life hahahaha. The lighting and decor is amazing, it's very much on trend while still being timeless. I don't think there is much that will age bad. Except for the arches then '-) It was an absolute pleasure to watch. Thanks for sharing and enjoy the fruits of your hard work.
Woohoo! Thanks for watching and glad you liked it. Interesting that you commented on the arches upstairs. We actually built them square. Finished them out with drywall and everything and I hated them so pulled them apart and re-arched them like they were when we bought the house 😳
It takes some seriously big devotion to take on a project like this! I really like how you eliminate most of the dormers in the front! That was a great decision it looks so much better without them!!!!
1st Awesome buy! 2nd I would love it if you can… Thank you to the Men that made your home come back to life. I can honestly say that I’m a Proud Latina, my Mexican father made me a proud woman. For me to be stopped in my tracks to watch you & the men doing a spectacular job. Made me feel proud to see what Americans the melting pot on earth, see what others say about Mexicans. This shows others what hard work and determination is. To struggle leaving behind family & the country to come to ours. Just gives me Pride & very Proud of your crew. Please let the Men know what they show the world. Hard work and determination!
Its an awsome result, and a nice House. But Holy moly, you guys are doing some dangerous work in this video. 80% of What you doing would not be allowed in Denmark. No safty Lines, No mask, No scaffolding, doing dangerous work on latters. No helmets, and dosent look like all is useing safety shoes, No railing where it needs to be. But I also know that you don't have the same rules in USA. I hope all the workers are okay after this projekt. 😮 Congratulations on the house. Much love from Denmark ❤️
Wow the new home is truly breathtaking, I hope for your peace of mind that you install smoke alarms, fire proof doors and fire resistant sheeting in the ceiling to separate the sections, given the previous property had a catastrophic end because the fire was not contained in one section and could freely flow between sections, which is very common in mansion sized builds ... its never too late to install your own sprinkler system, given the value of the property, contents & proximity to a city fire brigade personally I would have ... hopefully none of this is ever needed but airing on the side of caution is prudent is such a large expanse of a home...enjoy and may you and your family have many happy years in this home
Beautiful renovation. I am with you on the windows. The square windows make it look more modern. Much better than the rounded windows. In my opinion. Great job done by all the construction workers, especially installing those windows. YIKES! A little tense putting that big heavy window in over the front door.

Wow, you have literally turned the burnt house into the most beautiful home for you and your family to live in. Your Hispanic/Mexican team of men were working their bloody arses off, not affrid to take risks, making their own ladders as didnt hsvr one big enough, (where theres a will theres a way) they worked as a team to get the jobs done. Not sure you would get the British lads working as hard as the hispanic/Mexican men. The house looks amazing and i bet the family cant wait to personalise their rooms etc. Look forwards to seeing whats next. Hi from Ascot Berks.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching along!!! Got a couple more videos dropping soon so subscribe and hit the bell if you want to get notified 😁
The light makes the house. I can’t tell you how amazing it is as the sun moves through the whole house all day into the evening. That’s one of those things you can’t put a price on but when you enjoy it, it’s 😍😍😍
Outstanding video! I wish the video never stopped, the videography and everything about the video is perfect. And the house, what a majestic outcome! The house really looks incredible in the daylight and everything comes perfectly together. You really couldn't tell that this house was burned down to the point where it was declared unrecoverable. Absolutely unbelievable. Well done Mike!
Just found this video and had to watch, then subscribed, from Wisconsin. The amount of work and talent behind the design and structure is phenominal! I am in love with the kitchen, just exquisite. I wanted to see the front door up close. It looks gorgeous from afar. I love the contrasting black and white front facade. The grey bathroom, kids? I want to paint with that color, it's gorgeous! It's warm and inviting. Like a hint of brown in the grey. Striking! I will go on; the driveway with the diamond pattern, the master closet-so dreamy, black trim throughout, the ash wood, with its beautiful grain, especially used as crown molding, amazing. The wood flooring, and tile throughout, ugh! Sorry, I couldn't stop😅, absolutely exquisite! You should be very proud. Not only did you save this beautiful home, but you get to live in this masterpiece!❤❤❤
Found the channel through a news piece in the Manchester evening news, about you buying Crimble Hall. Cant wait to see that project as I'm a Manchester lad. 😁
My opinion - it's very pretty, but it just doesn't have the charm it once did. I'm a sucker for retro mansions, and while it's beautiful, it would have looked better if you'd kept some of the old-fashioned chandeliers, railings, spiral staircases, etc. I know you don't think so, but that sort of thing really can fit into a modern mansion. I personally would have restored it to the colonial look, as that is honestly the style I prefer. By no means do I mean that it's ugly, it's a gorgeous mansion, but I far prefer the alternative.
It’s ok! We know everyone’s taste is different. We wanted to try something modern and in that surrounding area, all the luxury homes are pretty much built that way so we had to think about value also compared to others. Maybe next time I’ll do a traditional style 😱😂
I had the same thought, as I also loved the spiral staircase and the railings, the original columns, and those tall window arches 😊 But I also love the modern minimalistic look, so yeah I would have gone with a blend of them both If I was a millionaire and could afford to ofcourse 😅
No worries! I'm good with folks liking some of the previous styling. We actually spent months trying to make the corned staircase work and even rebuilt it exactly the same, but there were other things at plat that ultimately made us abandon the idea.
This is absolutely stunning work. Great attention to detail, and I'm happy to see that you didn't go cheap just because it felt easy on the pockets. You did the right thing in order to keep the home looking incredible.
I was supposed to be going to bed but here we are almost a hour and a half later I remember seeing this house on the news so I became kind of invested in seeing how it went and I'll say it wasn't disappointing at all great job on bringing something that was thought to be lost back to life my favorite rooms are the master closet and the all black bathroom I would love to see the whole house once it's completely done and furnished I was wondering if you planned on doing a video on the cost breakdown and if it was worth it in the end? I'm surprised with how well this video was that the single videos you did didn't gain more traction
Yeah, I thought the videos would do better along the journey but 💁. It’s all good. We are working on a couple more bonus videos. The lower level is now finished so that will be next I think and then we may be able to get one out with it furnished a little more. Just trying to figure out some details.
It was a beautiful house before the fire But it’s beautiful and very Unique looking !!! Wishing you and your family many blessing in your new home. Thank you for sharing. 🇺🇸
Wow!!! Amazing to watch this be deconstructed and remade into a beautiful new house! Great work all around. Loved how you documented the house. I recognize some comments were not happy especially with the new pillars. But I actually think it was a great solution to your problem of replacing the pillar worth 30k!! As long as you love the end product that’s all that matters.
Right! It’s hard to balance everything and still be conscious that resale value also plays a part. We can’t just build whatever we want and it’s out of place with the surroundings!
Well hey there! Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it.... The whole journey is on this channel if you wanted to see more detail of a specific part or thing, and don't forget to subscribe and turn on the notification bell if you'd like to find out when my next crazy project starts!
I have to congratulate you on a spectacular job. The fact that you saved the house is great in itself however you went on to salvage everything you could instead of it all going into a landfill. We need more builders to salvage. Thank you to you and all the hard workers for giving it a new lufe. Just breathtaking.
good job, i like the new house over the old one, all the old features were inauthentic but this modern look is true to what the house is, a modern house
I remember reading about the article on facebook about the fire. I always been curious about what happend to it. Thank you RUclips for adding it to my front page. You did an amazing job.
I’ve just ran into this video and had to watch it. I have to admit, I thought it was so crazy to rebuild than tear the whole thing down bc it was in really bad shape. This guy proved me wrong. lol! Omg, I was in shock with the finale. 😮 It turned out so damn beautiful. I love every single thing that was done. The outside was so amazing and more updated than before. And the inside, 😮😮😮 insane! Great job picking out everything. I’ve never seen another house so beautiful and put together perfectly, in my opinion. Thanks guys for sharing this adventure, cause I know it was one hell of a journey. Amazing!! ❤❤
I'm impressed with the workers. They're very versatile, and they can do everything. I was hoping you were keeping it the brick color. Also, I wondered if the gravel delivery was for a neighbor. Your wife has my dream stove & oven combo.
I actually liked the red brick color of the original house but as some of the brick was painted there was no going back. And yes, the gravel was for another home in the neighborhood but they just delivered more instead of picking it up!
There are parts I love and parts I don’t love. The lattice is a no-go for me. The new columns are fantastic and all the bathrooms are wonderful! Great job!
I hate to say this and I'm probably going to cop it but that house before the fire had soo much class and character, the steel stair case, the steel balustrades and the way they curved at the top, the columns at the front the bathrooms and cornices, i could go on and on, it must of been absolutely beautiful, with all due respect i know you put in allot of hard work and money to get it to where it is now but its lost all that character and now just looks like a box
It’s ok. I know everyone has different taste 😁. No feelings hurt at all and thanks for watching along anyway! Maybe next time we’ll get to do a traditional style home 😂
I agree in a way like u have to bring back the old American regal feel and look to it restore it back to original but it’s his money and investment . Our opinions .
@user-yf7rt2pz2u it’s a balancing act. Part of it is that I just like the modern, simple clean lines but another part is keeping it in balance with what else is being built around us. All the new houses here at this level are modern so if we built something traditional we’d lose equity for the future.

No worries buddy! The journey is all still there for whenever you feel like grabbing an episode. You just know the ending now in advance 😂
Or do you…?!
Thanks for watching! Perhaps you can join us for season 2? Announcement coming soon...👀
😍😍
Your house is beautiful, congratulations to the workers, who did a wonderful job, congratulations, I loved watching your video!👏💯🇵🇹
Glad you liked it and thanks so much for watching along!
Watched the whole video without skipping and oh my days no words just stunningly awesome ❤
Woohoo! Thanks for watching. Hit subscribe as we're working on a full walkthrough that will be dropping soon!
Wow, what an incredible transformation! 🏰🔥
Thank you 🙌
I'm hooked up till the last seconds of this video. Wow!
Woohoo! Glad you’re enjoying it 😍
Wow, amazing job. Except for the arches then '-)
It was an absolute pleasure to watch.
Just loved the built.... Wow❤
Dropping a new video soon as a follow up from what people have been asking to see more of!
I wish i had the money to take something from trash to treasure 😢 Excellent video.❤
Thanks for watching along!
AMAZING!!! What a beautiful renovation.
Thank you!
Awesome Video, With my insta reels attention span, I still managed to watch the entire video without skipping. Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Wow! Well thanks for watching buddy 😁😁
Ì delivered all the trim to your house! What an awesome turnout on this rebuild!!
Well hey buddy! I appreciate all that hard work 😀
Absolutely stunning! Enjoy your new home and thanks for taking us on the journey!
Thanks so much! 😊 and thanks for watching along!
Them concrete guys did an amazing job ... That looks so cool
Thanks!
You had AMAZING Installation people! Real Craftsmen.
Thanks! Appreciate you watching along.
It takes some seriously big devotion to take on a project like this! I really like how you eliminate most of the dormers in the front! That was a great decision it looks so much better without them!!!!
Thanks for watching along and glad you liked it!!
1st Awesome buy!
2nd I would love it if you can…
Thank you to the Men that made your home come back to life.
😁😁😁
clean house, great journey, & very motivating to take risks!
Thanks so much!!!
Congratulations on the house. Much love from Denmark ❤️
Everyone was absolutely fine! And thanks for watching 😃
Glad I don't live in Denmark with all them rules😅
😳
Wowza! Congrats !!! It is awesome !!! Liked & subscribed.
Woohoo! Thanks for the sub Tommy! You’ll be rewarded soon with an outrageous teaser for season 2 so stay tuned….
What a Amazing ride;;from the ashes then back to life...Just beautiful!!!!!Thank you for sharing your adventure
Thanks so much for watching along!! 😍
👍
A really rare thing to see people restoring a beautiful home nice job ben most just distroy and reuse the land
😁😁😁
Beautiful renovation. I am with you on the windows. The square windows make it look more modern. Much better than the rounded windows. In my opinion. Great job done by all the construction workers, especially installing those windows. YIKES! A little tense putting that big heavy window in over the front door.
Thanks so much! 😊
This was pretty great to watch from Start to ending just wow
Well hey there! Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it.... The whole journey is on this channel if you wanted to see more detail of a specific part or thing, and don't forget to subscribe and turn on the notification bell if you'd like to find out when my next crazy project starts!
@@realmikethakur absolutely look forward to watch more of your videos these are what I enjoy thanks :)
The amount of natural light you brought into this to give it life is amazing! My dream one day is to have natural lighting like this 💕 amazing work!!
The light makes the house. I can’t tell you how amazing it is as the sun moves through the whole house all day into the evening. That’s one of those things you can’t put a price on but when you enjoy it, it’s 😍😍😍
@@realmikethakur I completely agree!
Woohoo! Thanks so much for watching along 😁
I remember reading about this home burning down and to see it transformed is amazing. Glad someone saved it and the land is great too !
😀😀😀
Stunning!!! I can’t wait to see the home furnished.
Very soon!
Aw thanks for the kind words! So glad you like how it turned out. 😍😍
Mike, that turned out very beautiful and well done.
Thanks so much for watching along! Glad you liked it but there a secret reveal coming soon 😱
A MAAAA VINGGGGG BEST ONE IVE EVER SEEN AND U SEEM LIKE GOOD HEARTED PEOPLE GOD HAS BLESED U
Thanks so much for watching along! Really appreciate it.
Found the channel through a news piece in the Manchester evening news, about you buying Crimble Hall. Cant wait to see that project as I'm a Manchester lad. 😁
Welcome aboard!
I had the same thought, as I also loved the spiral staircase and the railings, the original columns, and those tall window arches 😊
But I also love the modern minimalistic look, so yeah I would have gone with a blend of them both If I was a millionaire and could afford to ofcourse 😅
No worries! I'm good with folks liking some of the previous styling. We actually spent months trying to make the corned staircase work and even rebuilt it exactly the same, but there were other things at plat that ultimately made us abandon the idea.
😀😀
This is absolutely stunning work. Great attention to detail, and I'm happy to see that you didn't go cheap just because it felt easy on the pockets. You did the right thing in order to keep the home looking incredible.
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed watching!
I was supposed to be going to bed but here we are almost a hour and a half later I remember seeing this house on the news so I became kind of invested in seeing how it went and I'll say it wasn't disappointing at all great job on bringing something that was thought to be lost back to life my favorite rooms are the master closet and the all black bathroom I would love to see the whole house once it's completely done and furnished
I was wondering if you planned on doing a video on the cost breakdown and if it was worth it in the end?
I'm surprised with how well this video was that the single videos you did didn't gain more traction
Yeah, I thought the videos would do better along the journey but 💁. It’s all good. We are working on a couple more bonus videos. The lower level is now finished so that will be next I think and then we may be able to get one out with it furnished a little more. Just trying to figure out some details.
The hard work has made it beautiful again well done for not demolishing it x
Thanks!
absolutely gut wrenching to watch you take something that was once beautiful and turn it into a modern white and black cookie cutter style house.
To be fair, it wasn’t that beautiful with all the charred wood and ash 😂
YASSS thank you!
Omg yall did an amazing job.
Aw… thanks so much for watching and sending over a little encouragement!
It was a beautiful house before the fire But it’s beautiful and very Unique looking !!! Wishing you and your family many blessing in your new home. Thank you for sharing. 🇺🇸
Thanks so much!
What a wonderful journey
I hope that you enjoy the house
😍😍
this video is stunning! this journey is so beautiful and i appreciate all of you for taking us on this journey
Thank you so much!!
Everything is beautiful! Love how you made the hallway ceilings have extraordinary features. Great job!!!
Thanks so much Natasha! 😊
Looks beautiful! Congratulations. What a transformation.❤
Thanks so much!
Very fun to watch and well-produced!
Well hey there! Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it.... The whole journey is on this channel if you wanted to see more detail of a specific part or thing, and don't forget to subscribe and turn on the notification bell if you'd like to find out when my next crazy project starts!
Amazing transformation from old world charm to modern day charm. 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!!!
WOW! You did such a good job. My biggest respect ✊
😍😍😍😍
I have to congratulate you on a spectacular job. The fact that you saved the house is great in itself however you went on to salvage everything you could instead of it all going into a landfill. We need more builders to salvage. Thank you to you and all the hard workers for giving it a new lufe. Just breathtaking.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed watching!!
What a ride……you made a show place…..I enjoyed every nail and mistake thank you for an enjoyable wishing time❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
I would love to see a more personal walk thru video of everything from top to bottom left to right if you can some day 👍🏼🙏🏽🙏🏽
We're working on it!
Congratulations 🎉 to you and your family i pray one day I will build something like these 😢 congratulations once again
Thanks so much buddy! And thanks for watching. I never dreamed I would do anything like this so keep believing!!
Just fabulous. You guys did an amazing thing. Thanks for letting us follow the progress.
Aw. Thanks so much for watching and the kind words!!
This turned out magnificent!!! I loved following your renovation journey.
Woohoo! Glad you enjoyed... make sure you follow me on Instagram. I'll be posting some updates soon and announcing something big!
For me as a European it’s so crazy to see that this mansion is entirely built out of wood, cardboard and foam 😅😂
Crazy work!
😳
No cardboard here 😂
wow wow wow what a transformation it looks absolutely beautiful!
Thank you so much!
good job, i like the new house over the old one, all the old features were inauthentic but this modern look is true to what the house is, a modern house
Glad you like it!!
I remember reading about the article on facebook about the fire. I always been curious about what happend to it. Thank you RUclips for adding it to my front page. You did an amazing job.
Woohoo! Glad it showed up :)
Man OSHA would be livid to some of those works xD But nicely done house and great work!
Glad you liked it!
Amazing!! ❤❤
Aw thanks Leslie! It's really encouraging to get comments like this. So glad you like how it all came out 😍😍😍
I'm impressed with the workers.
Great job!
😀😀😀
Looks amazing, such a transformation. Wow what a change and a true beauty when it was done. 👏🏻
Thanks so much! 😊
MOE SARGI had actually been here Filming the Home & Because it was a BEAUTIFUL MANSION....! 😊
Outstanding renovation. Well done for taking on a massive project.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for watching along 😀
