I mean, dressing up is really good for one's mental health. Some people feel more comfortable in comfy hoodies and sweatpants, other people see their mental health improving when dressing up, because at morning, they take care of themselves, they wash themselves, they use deodorant and perfume, do their hair, shave and stuff, and that over all just improves mental health. A dude wearing a suit would probably want to complement it by showering, using deodorant right after the shower, not instead of a shower, and using perfume, shaving himself, trimming his hair and combing it or gelling it back etc. So, wearing a suit would probably increase a man's mental health. In ADHD therapy, we had a man who always wore a vest and a shirt, because it just made him feel better about himself, with his ADHD related depression, that many of us were there for.
Totally agree, it begins to fall into other parts of your life like hygiene and every mental health realizing that maybe you aren’t mentally as healthy and working to fix that to go along with your newfound wellbeing in terms of the way you’re presenting yourself. Thanks for checking in and leaving a comment, cheers!
The term "suit" comes from the medieval knights' suits of armour. Any knight worth his spurs had a suit of armour in his wardrobe. Fast forward to today, and any gentleman worthy of the term has to have at least one suit in his armoury - ready for battle at a moment's notice.
This is a great video. Deserves more views. A suit makes wardrobe so much easier. Get something good and comfortable. In my opinion it's best to look good while not standing out. If you want to simplify your wardrobe a decent suit is as versatile as it comes. Invest in complimentary shirts and ties. Goodwill for shirts and ties. Shooting fish in a barrel
Thanks I appreciate that! Yeah you’re right if you’re looking to go minimal a suit is a great foundation then switch up the simple things, which can be bought secondhand. I appreciate that input!
I don't think it is a trend - but I am sensing a small uptick in men dressing a bit better. Even if it is a not a suit but nice blazer or sports coat, dress boots, and dark wash jeans or chinos. Perhaps its a rebound from 2-3 year of WFH in sweatpants and some returning to the office for 2 days a week. Not sure.
I totally agree with you, everything moves in cycles. Like I talk about in the video I think just wearing sweatpants around all the time has an effect on you, maybe even if it’s only subconscious. People wanna look good and dress nice deep down!
I’m going to become a Preacher of the Truth & I was wondering what I should wear on my normal days & this video just makes so much sense this is what I’m most likely going to do Thank You Brother God Bless😇🕊❤️🔥
Love that, congratulations! I made another video about the suit that I wear more often, which is the Uniqlo Airsense Suit. It is less structured but still great for a more casual suit option rather than the very structured and rigid traditional suit. Check it out and let me know what you think!
I love wearing suits!! So powerful! I want to start wearing suits everyday
Agreed!
During my undergrad I would put on a suit everytime I began studying. I don't know why but it made the experience better. I think its a good habit 👍
Definitely makes sense, gives you that confidence boost! Thanks for watching!
Agreed. You also get extra pockets. Very useful.
I love a good interior jacket pocket haha, glad you enjoyed the video!
This is so good man. Keep going!
Thank you, thanks for watching!
This was a very good video! Keep it up my man!

The only downside of wearing a suit in Scotland the weather horrendous
Haha yes I have never been to Scotland but have heard. May need a Goretex suit or something of that nature haha.
