Love listening to Seth Rogen talk about behind-the-scenes stuff. He's so open and honest and genuine. Everyone should check out him testifying before Congress, as well as his benefit specials for cancer research.
I often hear directors/producers talk about how finding the right people for roles and just trusting that they will bring the performances they want, often far beyond what they expected. While obviously movies are highly complex, casting seems like one of the cornerstones of good movies. Whether it's the start of an unbelievable career, or they are bringing on a veteran actor, if the movie is good it has to be the right actors for the role. Some actors are chameleons, like Heath Ledger where you can barely recognize them. You would never believe that he's the same actor in "A Knights Tale," "Brokeback Mountain," or when he plays, "The Joker." His voice, mannerisms, its all radically different.
Pineapple Express is hands down the greatest stoner film of all time but Superbad is the greatest coming of age film of all time, they are both so on par with each other I cant choose.

Ryan Oliver its my go to Thanksgiving movie. I watch it every year on Thanksgiving!
Yes! Love that one. He and Elizabeth Banks are fabulous together ❤️
Yeah, I was hoping the same thing. It is underrated.
I was hoping for Observe and Report.
@@amiracleone2803 he spoke about it towards the end
40 min of Seth Rogen saying "yeah I've played a stoner in that movie"
Basically lol not even diff types of stoners
Everytime I've ever seen Seth Rogen, all I could really see was his potential to play Donkey Kong. Now, after all these years, he finally got the role he was meant to play
Honestly, and I know that it's not one of the most well known characters of him but, him as Kyle on 50/50 is just wonderful!!
Filipe Salgueiro SAMMMEEE
I loved him as kyle!
agree!!! one of my favorite character of his
Totally thought he would talk about that movie where they wrote it about Evans bout with cancer!!
I’ve always loved Seth rogen, Jonah hill, and Paul Rudd. I love when they’re all in the same movie. Always a blast
What about James Franco
me: :(
*seth rogan laughs*
me: :)
Isabelle Blue why does every single person keep spelling his name wrong - Rogen
ruclips.net/video/GYwYffkHfvw/видео.html just laugh and laugh forever and ever. Never say never unless you really are never going to say never never ever again.
I appreciate how much you love attention but what's the end game? Sweaty dudes all on yo d? Once they figure it out you've kinda lost the poker game bro.....
HEGHEGHEGHEGHEGHEG
🤣🤣
Honestly, the interview is underrated and super intelligently comedic gold
His laugh sounds like a car trying to start
Except more godly
Usually that’s pretty frustrating instead of hilarious. Life would be so much better if cars struggling to start sounded like Seth laughing
Which make and model?
Think you need a new car 🤣
@@breetopkuschi9657 but then seths laugh would be frustrating
No love for Zack and Miri. That's super unfortunate, because what a gem of a flick that is.
Shot in my city pittsburgh
I love that one!
That movie is amazing.
People been sleeping on that movie
It’s underrated in my opinion
Wow I just realized that in Pineapple Express when Saul says the wipers aren’t working it’s because he’s using the turn signal lever
Eric Decoteau HAAHAHAH. I’m dead 😂😂😂
"The indicator"?
lol I didn't even notice that
Freaks and geeks definitely one of those shows that holds up such a well exacuted show.
Love listening to Seth Rogen talk about behind-the-scenes stuff. He's so open and honest and genuine. Everyone should check out him testifying before Congress, as well as his benefit specials for cancer research.
that scene where Franco put his foot threw the windshield literally made me laugh so hard it was unreal.
“Hey I can see through my leg hole”
Oh my god, Seth wrote the iconic Kelly Clarkson line.
Superbad was religion in 8th Grade, come to the 10th and lets start popping in Pineapple express 😂
Dazed and confused I'd say is the best coming of age movie
I haven’t seen all of these interviews. But this is the longest one I’ve seen. I love how they just let him talk. It’s so great that he has such a great career that he has such a hand in making
To me, Seth, Paul, and Jonah together in any movie is like any 3 buds enjoying life
that's why knocked up is my favourite LOL😅
Wow these comments have aged badly
@@yungpep how and why?
And now he's Donkey Kong. I'm sure that'll win him an Oscar
no it wont
@@ladygragra the sarcasm works better when you don't have to explain it
@@yoblazesHe didn t win an oscar for it.
He didn t win an oscar for it.
Got to be honest. Never much stay around for 40 minutes on a RUclips film. But I am still here at the end. What an interesting and talented dude.
Jack black 39 mins 24 seconds lol
Didnt even realise it was thay long till I finished. Was great. Now I'm going to watch 40 minutes of jack black do the same thing
watched this to see if he would mention Donnie Darko, 1:30, I am satisfied
Lol wut, what are the odds that you would of commented this. Lol I watch you all the time for COD mobile help
Bro you everywhere 😂
he didn't mention it
@@aolwarez thanks. i missed that
that scene where Franco put his foot threw the windshield literally made me laugh so hard it was unreal.
Seth is one of the most real actors. Beside jack black. Both should be protected as they keep balance in the world.
I feel like jack black has gone kinda stale recently
Jack Black has always sucked.
Jack Black is a great person but is by no means a great actor
Harry Vu jack is a crazy good actor wtf are you saying
You really cant compare the two... for example: seth is great, jack is trash.
I laughed so hard at the foot through the windshield scene. It's the kind of amazing moment of slapstick that you rarely see in contemporary movies. I agree with Seth that it's the funniest moment in any of his movies.
The way he broke down -why- that scene is funny was amazing to watch. Super inspiring.
I could listen to this man and his stories all day long. An iconic human being.
I love how intelligent he is. Listening to him is so entertaining.
Edit: did he just say he is a painter? I didn't need more reasons to like him but thanks.
Legend. This guy has brought so many laughs to hundreds of millions of people, and will for generations
This is the End is one of my favorites, I rarely watch things more than once, but have watched it over and over and laugh so hard every time ❤😂
I think he did AMAZING in Steve Jobs. It was a different role for him and he nailed it. The writing was intense in that movie, and I truly believed that they were the people the movie is based off of.
Superbad and Pineapple Express are still the funniest movies of all time
Absolutely!!
Step Brothers is probably the most underrated comedy of all time.
@@wiiiz3 underrated? Nah man I think that movie got the respect and cult following it deserves!
I had no idea he was such a big part in writing these movies. I find it so much more fascinating finding out where he came up with the ideas for the movies and characters
Seth Rogen has defined an entire generation of comedy films in a way he doesn't get credit for
