Not really, I remember him being young in all of his past works (except Pineapple Express)

The fact that he started writing Superbad in 8th grade is inspiring
You're inspiring
Gave him plenty of time to revise it into the classic that it is. I'm sure the concept and some scenes stayed but you have to imagine he redid alot of the script while growing up and developing as a man. Either way very inspiring
"The fact that he started writing Superbad in 8th grade is inspiring"
Yeah, if you're a 5 year old with brain damage.
More like deppressing, unless youre under 8 grader dude..
@@antiflo781 untrue regardless of your intelligence it is still inspiring that he had the initiative and the drive to commit to something like that because for most people doing something like that that young is quite difficult

We gone be alright if we put drake on every hook
Jonah may not be everyone’s favorite but we must admit he is a very resilient slightly cocky fluffy hipster punching bag for all of America and his friends. He also made mid 90s that was despite it’s flaws and crutch on nostalgia was enjoyable, brought a bit of spotlight to Indy old school style. Which we cannot deny he is far more creative than us apes here in the comments of a RUclips video😂.
That idea he once mentioned of a This Is The End sequel, where the REAL apocalypse happens at that movie’s premiere, was so good. I hope they make that one day.
Might be very different now considering Seth has cut ties with James Franco.

Superbad is an honest-to-God classic. It captured being an idiot teenage boy in the 2000s just perfectly. I think it's going to be looked back on really well by history
It has a new type of comedy that just "got" the type of humor that has been missing in films. Put Superbad in my top 3 comedies EVER!!!
Its already a cult classic.
It will be, if is not already, up there with Life of Brian, Airplane!, A Fish CAlled Wanda, Young Frankenstein, Duck Soup, Anchorman, There's something about Mary, Dumb and Dumber, Groundhog's Day, etc.
Thank you! My boyfriend hates that movie, im like how?! I saw it in high school my junior year of high school. Iconic movie. Still makes me laugh

I watched it cause I'd watched every other DVD in the house
I was told nothing about it my guardian just walked in the room said "You're watching superbad?" 🙂🤣and just laughed his head off while he walked out the room. I often hear directors/producers talk about how finding the right people for roles and just trusting that they will bring the performances they want, often far beyond what they expected. While obviously movies are highly complex, casting seems like one of the cornerstones of good movies. Whether it's the start of an unbelievable career, or they are bringing on a veteran actor, if the movie is good it has to be the right actors for the role. Some actors are chameleons, like Heath Ledger where you can barely recognize them. You would never believe that he's the same actor in "A Knights Tale," "Brokeback Mountain," or when he plays, "The Joker." His voice, mannerisms, its all radically different.
“Jonah got heatstroke that day”.. I feel so bad for laughing
