The restyling for these dolls is on point. They went from 'specific' to 'cool kids' very quickly!

I love them on MTM bodies. I'd like to see some removable fabric tails inspired by their original ones so they could go from legs to fins as a nod to their roots.
I think they look much better with made to move bodies. They look like they always should have had bodies in the first place

This was cute! I wasn’t even thinking about doing changing their bodies ( because I like mermaids 🧜♀️) but I might give this a try!
The body swaps and outfits came out great! Personally I think mermaid dolls should always have the option for legs, the fins are fun but limiting. It's a shame because their original bodies had good articulation. I also agree with you about molded gloves, plain hands should come with.

I would prefer for these dolls to come on a made to move body and to have a removable cloth tail like the early mermaid dolls from Mattel.

this made me realise how much i miss dolls that don't have a really specific gimmick. as much as i love mermaids, if these dolls didn't come as mermaids i'd be more inclined to buy them. i just love their faces and wish they came with the option to switch from mermaid to human

I wish they were more articulated on their tail, and making them made to move its such a good idea because u can just put on a mermaid tail and they are fully articulated!!
At first I didn't like their faces, kinda looked a bit uncanny...but now that they're on human bodies it's kinda growing on me tbh

I love your rebodies for them! I genuinely love the mermaid concept too, but the fact that their tails are stiff and non bendable are what's still keeping me on the fence about getting them. The child in me would feel bad for them not being able to really "sit" like Ariel or Barbie in their mermaid forms. They're stuck standing all the time and can't give their fins a break🤣

I have bought one of the Mermaze doll on a MTM body on Ebay in a bundle. I love her. She looks fantastic. The only thing, her hair is a bit heavy and tend to make her head a bit wobbly. It is minor, she is otherwise so cute.
