I would think by now Mattel would make made-to-move fashionista dolls. You’ve mentioned it so much! 😆🤣. It would definitely save you doing body swaps.

Yes, then I wouldn’t get to say “off with there heads”, however more made to move fashionista doll would definitely save time and in my case dolls 😢
But if we think in a business perspective, that may not be possible considering making non articulated fashionistas and super articulated made to move Barbies seperately can generate more sales as collectors and doll lovers will buy the made to move dolls and the fashionistas together to do the body swap..
I think they may have thought in this angle way back, as collectors have anyway been asking Mattel for articulated fashionistas for ages and yet they do not do so 😂
Toya's custom Made to Move Fashionistas dolls look even better with the added accessories, additional clothing, and of course, the ARTICULATION!!! Also, I'm team molded hair for the Ken's since I like how they can mold any short hairstyles for them that with rooted hair, it can be somewhat hard to implement in doll form.
I don’t really like the molded hair but I understand that it is a lot easier than rooted hair

I love the way you did 180's hair. It's so much cuter in the twists than the space buns and fro. Though, to be honest, I have kinda been absolutely in love with twists and braids recently, I've been wanting to give them to a bunch of my dolls.
OMG! That makeover on the tall doll went from a “meh” doll for me to an “OMG I NEED HER!!!”

Count me as team sculpted hair too. I remember those original Ken fashionista haircuts and in a word? YIKES! The sculpted also allows more hair types and diversity. A very nice solution IMO
The makeovers on your favorites are pitch perfect.
Its a genial idea to put Barbie clothes in a binder.That makes them more organized.And the fact you never lose them again is the cherry on top.

Hi Toya,I love the new fashionista dolls. I love how you styled them. The twists on the blonde afro doll look great,love the lip color repaint. I like the molded hair on the male dolls. Sometimes the rooted hair guy dolls is ok. I love that orange dress. I agree that it would be great in other colors.
The redo is on point and much better than the originals. Mattel should consult ,with you, before throwing any more fashionistas out into the market. Great job, as always, Toya😊👍

I get very distracted by hair, and it makes it hard for me to notice the face sometimes.

Also, kinda surprised Toya hasn't done any doll reviews of the dolls from Disney's Encanto! SPEAKING of Disney....It'd be really great if the Disney Store teamed up with Mattel and made the Disney Dolls with Made to Move bodies! ESPECIALLY since there's been another diversity with the addition of the Colombian characters in Encanto, and with different body types!
Unfortunately, Mattel lost their license to make Disney dolls a while ago. Hasbro has the license now and Hasbro has been making the Disney dolls.

I legit bought the Wonderwoman set for that black jacket. Excellent show, the struggle to match is real.
I wish Mattel would use the same colour plastics for their dolls (ie match up m2m with fashionistas) - diversity is one thing but every new doll seems to be a new colour and the differences can be really jarring when rebodying. I have fashionista #90 - bought her as used from eBay with the hope of giving her an articulated body (don’t even mind if she isn’t full m2m as long as she can bend a bit!). She has very dark skin and there is currently no articulated doll that comes close. But even the blonds seem to have 1001 skin shades now.
Love what you did with that blond's hair, (in the romper). Mattel needs to consider consulting with you because you have flawless taste. 😘

For the guys molded hair is the way to go. The rooted hair never seems to lay right when the style is a shorter cut.
