    Great content, Fam! Glad I found your channel. Just subbed. On a side note, the resemblance to John Turturro tho…

    Thanks for sharing. Those samples sounded incredible after EQ. Would be great to see a video on how you did that. I am still torn between the simplicity, small size and robust design of the Zoom F3 and the feature rich Tascam.

    Thanks for the informative video, would you please show how to connect Dji with Zoom f3 and test the audio output of it?

      I tried it and I’m missing a component to make it work, think it’s a XLR to 3.5mm like the
      “Kondor Blue Braided Female XLR to 3.5mm TRS Male Audio Cable”
      Or
      “RODE VXLR 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter”

    Thanks for the info, for the Tascam x6 is there a "lock screen" setting in order to prevent accidental switching of settings on the touch screen?

    • @Fredo.heavyy
      @Fredo.heavyy  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes the power switch is multi functional and has a lock mode.
      I’ve never experienced any accidental touches and use this facing me on a magic arm with a falcam f38 for quick release.
      Are you planning to use this camera in a studio environment or a field utility.

    I don't understand how can the dji mic TX can connect directly to the AT 875R and works ? The mic needs 48V phantom power but the output TRS of the dji mic TX does not provide phantom power. I'm a bit confused

    Can you have a 3.5mm to USB C adaptor to get line in on the F3? Will the adaptor degrade the audio quality?

    • @NetvoTV
      @NetvoTV 8 месяцев назад +1

      Is there a rotatable or at least 45⁰ angled XLR adaptor to plug 2 small pencil condenser mics with the adaptor directly into the F3 so I can have a handheld and also on camera stereo mic?
      Is it worth it tho or just get Sennheiser MKE 440?

    • @Fredo.heavyy
      @Fredo.heavyy  8 месяцев назад

      You might want to look into the Tascam X6, it has similar features as the F3 and two built in X,Y mics
      I’ve heard good things about the sennheiser, depending on what your applications is, you might be better off with the Audio Technica AT875R as a shot gun mic.
      You can get couple varieties of XLR adapters but you’d start cutting into the versatility and lower audio quality as you increase the thing connect to the audio chain

    I have both the F3 and the X6...I hate the F3 and I love the X6. I think the X6 sounds better and is quieter. The X6 is a quantum leap as far as the menu, plus it has external mics for quick recording. I use an Aston Origin on both units and upload to Screenflow and tweak the sound with its sound leveling feature, and I don't think I can get it much better.. I have the bluetooth adapter for both but the Tascam Android app works amuch, much better as far as easy connectivity. Plus the X6 has a mixer feature. You could take the X6 hooked up to a DSLR like my Canon R8 and shoot wildlife with amazing sound with the built in speakers of the X8. The Tascam X8 is even better but a hundred dollars more.

      I agree with you 100% the Tascamj X6 is an essential tool for me.
      Honestly have put a lot of hours into both those units (F3 and X6)
      I know zooms released some new 32bit float recorders but I haven’t been tempted in the least bit

    The Tascam seems to have a sonic noise problem.....which is a flaw

    • @Fredo.heavyy
      @Fredo.heavyy  9 месяцев назад

      In my video or in general?
      I’ve learned a lot about audio in the last 6 months. It’s better to utilize the recording device independently of your camera for cleanest audio.
      I used to plug it in via 3.5mm jack and always gotta interference or hum some where.
      If I record separately and sync later it’s vastly higher quality.

      @@Fredo.heavyy hi. It s a problem on the hardware. It cannot be solved via firmware. Most units have it and it has been confirmed by the manufacturer. That s why i did not buy it. I find it amazing that they sell this unit with the preamps fooked. This should be illegal. Google it for ultrasonic noise and u ll see. This is miserable. Lol

    • @qiyuxuan9437
      @qiyuxuan9437 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@Fredo.heavyyWell, not audible in normal recording, since the noise is in ultrasonic range. It will become a problem when slowing down the audio which will lower the pitch.

    Do not use in camera audio - create a scratch audio track and then replace it in post
    Then for the mic but the best one for your environment - no one mic will work
