Real cool car and the pace it gathers is impressive... as a lot have said a coupe of mm on the ride height and ditch the pop and bangs.

The scraping is unnecessary. Set the ride height 1, 2 cm higher, get some more suspension travel, and get rid of the scrape. Very low ride height is contraproductive in most cases.
Appreciate the input, this is my daily car and used for multiple purposes track days are very rare so suspension is set for a happy medium. My first time at the nurburgring so may raise it for next year 👍

I would only adjust it if you keep going to the nurburgring... If it works in daily life, why bother.
The car handled it well though, I was waiting for issues on the uphill and it didn't happen. It's perfectly fine unless you track it more and get fast.
No pop and bang map + some actually good power = a properly sorted polo for a change. Manual too so bonus points 🤙

About a quarter of a 40-ish liter tank for 20 kilometers makes 50 l/100 km - to be fair, it seems to have been well worth spent on engine cooling, though.
Next upgrade: E 85 Fuel. Better Fuel punpm bigger injectors, and the computer needs to be tunes for that. And there schoule be a sensor that mesures the mix so he can drive with any mix between 6 and 85% ethanol.

Did my first nurburgring lap in asseto corsa the other day it was insane to me i knew parts of the track and how to drive them thanks to your videos also i tried left foot breaking w shifting and damn its hard hahah .
Golf is getting to big/heavy i would take Polo for sure! Btw love the intro quality! Getting a look under the hood is amazing!

Golf has mutch moore aftermarket parts compared to Polo 6c. But you are rigth in that the Golf is hevier...
@@tokobjork Pretty sure you can get a lot of parts from golf bolt on... The engine is what really matters and you don't have problems there!
Would never swap my Polo for a Golf. Or even the latest generation Polo. The 6C GTI in manual is the last of its kind.
LSD would would definitely help put power down a bit better, but definitely a properly quick car. Great balance for a daily driven car.

LSD and dq250 conversion would be a huge improvement to the general pace of the car around a track.

The Alpine at 5:09 flashing it lights to probably tell them about the flapping undertray made Misha go even faster.

It's weird seeing the dash clocks from my work van only needles moving way faster lol. Needs some better suspension for sure, and the undertray sorting. Certainly got enough boost however
Polo's are great cars in general! This one seems pretty fun!
The car is way too low for the race track and has a little too many pops and bangs.
Will raise it for next year, as mentioned its a daily driver not a track car

Well I know what I'm doing to my Taos aka Skoda Ateca when the warranty is up. That looked like a blast, the car is a complete sleeper build even silver. The power when the boost kicked in was insane for a little car.

Lovely car. I had also a 6c for around 3 years and put a lot of miles on it. It was stock but a very nimble and predictable car! I miss that lightness in my 240i! It’s a very underrated car in my eyes. Everyone talks about the Fiesta etc but the 1.8l is way more capable. Cheers

Good lap! I like that power and the manual gearbox. Maybe not quickest but good feeling! What is sounding unbalanced? Sounds like brake dics that turned too hot and warped but also can be heard on straight without breaking. So 1272kg/400hp => 3.18 kg/hp. That is a nice low amount of weight/hp
nice one, that metallic vibration is AC line touching to chassis. :D I had the same issue.

It spent almost half a tank in one lap, lets say 15 to 20 liters.

My brother lowered his truck to the point where he slit a tire because the fender cut through it... He learned how dumb it was once the truck was ruined and he sold it for a massive loss rather than undoing it all 😂
As mentioned this is a daily driver not a track car, height will be amended for next year 👍

I did not catch if it was the 1.4 or 1.8 TSI. Also how does the front drivetrain handle the torque and 400hp ? I really like the subtle exterior modifications and wheels setup, the owner has taste 👍

@@yxzuk9214 pfl(6r) is 1.4 tsi and fl(6c) is 1.8 tsi. this one is a 1.8 tsi :)
6C so the 1.8. EA888.3 engine. The 1.4 engine was some trash and would never get this kinda power.
@@slainclothing9348 actually the newer cthe is solid, and can run about 320hp reliably on stock internals.
@@kifla7526here in the US the CPK Gen3 1.8s are pushing 500 wheel stock block with the help of adding port injection and strapping on big behemoth turbos. The ea888 is such a solid engine !!
Fuel consumption is somewhere arround 0,5L/km

Awesome car! Are you using the brakes from a Leon Cupra? If yes, how did you manage to fit those? They have different bolt patterns. I would love to have the Leon Cupra brakes on my VW Polo as well
they are the same 5x100, direct fit.

I think the owner said it was a flappy under tray plastic...
@@volvo09 sounds about right. When I had the same issue on an Audi it would catch at high speed and start the flapping till the speed became low enough for it to raise out of the airflow again. Thx

Also this car has a really strange creaking noise after letting off the throttle. . Might be worth getting that checked as its sounding terrible.
