    Option 719 Tramontana is a very good choice!

    A very interesting perspective, and although I haven't ridden the Megamoto, I think I have an idea of what you mean. That said, it would be great if you could expand on why you think it's a modern-day MM.

    People don't like being top trumped by a newer version of what they thought was the best ......now they will all start to accept it and hand over stupid amounts of cash...... like for a paint option.....o dear no no no 🤦

      @RRGS78  Месяц назад

      Well tbh it’s not just the paint for that price, it comes with other things as standard that are options on the other colours. It works out to be about £900 more, still more yes.
      I only learnt this detail afterwards which made me feel better.

    Great upright sports touring bike IMO as most "adventure bikes" are.

    I gave up on all BMWs a few years ago. BMW and Ducati have just become a rich ponces brand , where dealers look down their noses at you if you don't pull up in a new Audi or Porsche.

      Fuck! Does this mean I’m a rich ponce? Hmm I did have a Porsche a couple of years ago too….
      I think you’re half right. My local bmw bike dealer are great, the car dealer I would buy from, my local Audi dealer do so much trade they don’t give a shit.
      It just depends who you get.
      As I’m not a rich ponce, please consider subscribing.

      @RRGS78 Sadly my local BMW dealership act as if something is stuck in their throats, when they see you pull in on a K1300 with 40,000 miles and your not wearing BMW clothing. The local Ducati dealership is worst. They will ignore you completely if you look like Riff-Raff..!

      Which one is your local BM dealer? Ducati dealers can for certain be dicks. I think an older high miler bike is cool. Thats the point of the things to be ridden

      @RRGS78 I live in Chelmsford in Essex. I've ridden a number of BMWs and added considerable mileage to them. Whilst I like my bikes clean, sitting in a glass case in my entrance hall makes my blood boil. However, placing a deposit on a new model hasn't happened since I purchased the first K100, when I was 19yrs old. I put 76,000 miles on the "old brick".

      My local dealer is Dick Lovett in Bristol and can recommend them, same for Cotswold in Cheltenham.
      Its true about the miles, my 18 month old GS had 17000 on it, and that is considered too much, whats the point of having a bike that can travel the world if you only do 3k a year!
