"Nothing on earth can make two people feel so good" has this man never hugged a loved one he hasn't seen in person in a long time? Has he never sat on a couch and watched an old movie while cracking jokes with someone with the same sense of humor as you? Has he never just sat with someone, touching them just enough to feel that they're their with you, to have the comfort of their presence even if neither of you are talking?
Touting sex as the end all be all of meaningful connection between two people is so damaging in so many ways, and it's infuriating how much that harmful ideal is pushed on people.

"Our nipples were designed for pleasure." No. Just no. No no no no no. They were designed to feed a small human. They were designed with sensitivity because feeding said small human has a lot of nuances to get it right and signals from the baby change the actual milk the parent produces to meet their needs as they age. If that sensitivity leads to pleasure, YAY! But it does not necessarily have a sexual correlation for everyone. Our hands and feet are designed with sensitivity too. Ugh. Just SO much wrong in Nip/Tuck. So much.
You aren't including men. Men still have nipples, and cis men do not feed small humans using nipples. Also ignoring those women who do not/can not have children,and those who cannot produce (enough) milk.

It doesn't matter which steroids. If a man artificially increases his Testosteron for too much and too long his body will counter this Testosteron with estrogen synthesis. As soon as he stops taking Testosteron, lowers the dose or just stops increasing the dose this additional estrogen will change his body leading to feminization which can end in lactation in rare cases.
And yeah you are correct. Until a certain age all fetuses are female and nipples generally form before a fetus turns male eventually.
@@fuyukazemi The only reason why men even have nipples, is because the nipples develop before the sexual organs. It's as if the fetus is preparing for the possibility of becoming female. If the sexual organs developed first, male babies wouldn't be born with nipples.
In rare cases, men can lactate a mikly like substance.
Both men & women can get sexually stimulated from their nipples, but to say that's what they were designed for is stupid.

I know someone who is Non binary and they had top surgery and their nipples removed. I’ve never seen them so happy. It’s not something I would want but I’m happy for them 😊
But having nipples doesn't even have anything to do with nipples? Or is it because their nipples looked like a certain gender? Adult female's nipples are larger than male ones, so maybe that was their reason?

At the end of the day, it sounds like they're happy with their decision, so I don't have to get it. (I really don't, but that's okay.)

This was so awkward. It felt like watching a sex scene while my dad is sitting next to me. My god, who wrote that show and why?
Ryan Murphy. And this plot isn't even close to the top ten craziest plotline the show had. Heck even the pilot had them working for a drug cartel by removing breast implants filled with cocaine to smuggle it into the country. There was the serial slasher who cut up people's faces, neo Nazis, Scientologists, murder cover-ups, an ovmbese woman fused to her couch, serial killers, self circumcision...etc. It wasn't a medical show it was an insane soap opera set around a small plastic surgery practice that had tons of bizarre patients/cases. Though most of them are procedures based on real people (there are people who have their nipples removed). And apparently the way the surgeries were filmed was very accurate
That literally happened to me with this show. I was 16 and watched the pilot episode with my dad. I’m not sure which of us was more embarrassed and to this day we do not speak of it! LOL

I know this is an old comment but I'm guessing he was written to say that as if the entire idea was her husbands idea. And he was saying "I hope you're happy now" in a spiteful way to insinuate he believes the husband forced her to do it and it was never actually her idea etc. He wasnt actually hoping the guy was happy. He was making a snide comment
@@vydia_moth it was you're correct. The show is awful and melodramatic as anything but it's very anti plastic surgery. Very few people are normal and well adjusted. It's basically just anti plastic surgery unless it's for "proper reconstructive reasons" (aka after an accident or not at all)
Also just a note. The character may have been sarcastic in an upset way like I hope he's happy he's getting what the wants smh type of way coz he disapproved and was into her. Either way it's awful and fucked up.
@@acelovesdiyschristopher7023 also, the character, as a doctor, could simply deny doing the surgery. If he thinks it is a terrible Idea, why on earth he would risk the patient having terrible psychological and physical side effects because of a dumb surgery

I hate that this show says that it's "unnatrual" to give up sex. Being asexual is a real thing and people who are asexual should not have to be called unnatrual in this way

Now since this has blown up more than I expected I want to treat this subject with respekt. First I want to say that if people wanna call me an easliy offended freak that's okay, but people who troll down in the comments and just use insult as arguments will be reported. Hate is just ugly and has no place in an intelegent argument.
I also want to clearify that I pointed this out not because I think the show did something wrong or that it was wrong to say it like that.
I pointed it out because I think it's wrong that statments like this can be said and noone really cares what it could mean for some people struggeling with identitet. As well as I think knowladge about asexuality is generally very slim.
So I originaly posted my comment so that the people who would see it would start thinking alittle bit more about this from another perspektiv.

I would agree it would be unnatural to "give up" sex, but if you aren't interested in sex to begin with then you're not giving anything up. Having sex when you're not interested in it would be unnatural.

This show is almost 20 years old. 20 years ago people didn't know about asexuality so please don't take that as an insult. At the time homosexuality wasn't widely accepted either. It's different times.
@@nodiggity8746 That is worth noting. But it's still something to mention because the attitude reflected in this show hasn't changed much in 20 years. I'm not asexual, but I'm close to it, and people definitely look at me sideways for being almost 30 and not having ever been in a sexual relationship. The attitude that being uninterested in sex is unnatural is still very much alive
