It's probably because that's not how working out works & getting the sorta defined muscles you see on superheros or body builders is as a result of long term dehydration. That's the thing here, a healthy human can't possibly have such defined muscles, we *need* to have fat over our muscles to protect our organs. This guy seems sweet, but he needs therapy. Although I’m in the medical field I’m not a plastic surgeon. What are the ethics involved for performing surgery on patient with these types of issues?
As always, it's up to the patient and the Doctor. Just as people can refuse proceedures, medication, and advice , conversely a person CAN choose to undergo procedures. Technically, so long as he manages his post operative care with the doctor, there's no good legal or ethical reason NOT to do it. Technically, this person is mentally ill, but also technically, they feel better and are more at risk of harm and have refused less invasive (and arguably more productive and less risky strategies) like psychotherapy. One of the inherent contradictions of psychological and general medical practice is that while physicians can for example, have tests, evidence, and other objective signs of some form of dire illness, the patient maintains the right to refuse so long as they are 1)Cognizant of the risk to denying a recommended treatment and 2) Not at risk of harming others in their refusal to undergo treatment for themselves. It's why Heroine addicts can walk away after being given Narcan and Psyche Wards cannot without massive legal representation, involuntarily hold or retain patients. If they can walk out on their own, most states can only hold people for 24 to 72 hours. Until they become a risk to someone else or they get found by the police or EMT paramedics. All of his doctors, you can bet have a c.y.a checklist a mile long with the obvious caveat that at the time the patient CHOSE this procedure. In Europe where plastic surgery is really expensive if you can save money for at least one operation in your life you'd be lucky but 23 surgery is so much 😂
Those sites where people donate money for things like; funerals, cars, housing , etc... I don't know but I couldn't pay for anything like plastic surgery.
Suggar Daddies and tricking
the editing is getting really great
I'm glad you mentioned kybella. I've done research on it and will be getting the treatment soon.
Fortunately, due to the lack of money, many more of us would get plastic surgery if we could.
We don’t like what we see in the mirror. LOL🌻
That's not really something to laugh at
My eyes burned upon hearing that this guy used someone else's contacts. I haven't worn contacts in several years and this just hurt upon hearing
I’m bingeing your videos and loving them! I’m so glad you were on The Chalene Show - I follow you on Insta but didn’t know about your RUclips. Yay!
"Exercise"
"I don't need that, you are here" 🤣👌.
"I want this, but I dont want to do the work to get it." Great role model :)
"I want to become the plastic man"
I finally found Oily London's long lost brother
Smh not funny he gets bully online and made fun of.. leave him alone.
Everyone world wide be safe in this on going Pandemic Virus Crisis.
Rip for those that deceased from Pandemic Virus World wide..
@@ARUclipschannel1448 Nobody asked if my comment is funny
I thought of Olly London too.
@@piss5000 just giving feedback on your public comment.
@@ARUclipschannel1448 You're probably a Oily london fan
I love your videos. They combine the click bait titles I love with actual good, informational videos!
omg Walmart superman is in thumbnail
Honestly these are always my fav videos. I love watching professionals react to stuff in their own realm especially when it’s tv shows like botched (or Mama DrJones with the show I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant).
We have this guy on the philippines who done surgeries just to look like superman.
Edited: i knew it!!!
About that coca cola shot in the video. My dad had a career working at a plant that made cans for coca cola, a protective layer was put into the can so the beverage wouldn't eat through the can. Seven-up or Sprite (can't remember which) is supposed to be the worst.
YIKES
Not surprising 'cause I've seen coke used as toilet de-clogger and rust cleaners.
You are absolutely wonderful, faactual yet positive, even when someone is slowly killing themselves.
Doctor Youn's facial expressions are priceless. They add to the reactions.
I think your an awesome plastic surgeon. Very inspiring and educational. Keep doing what you doing.
Greeting from Cape Town South Africa 🌸
I love dr youn. Honestly, hes such an amazing man in every way! I wish all surgeons n doctors were like him, the world wud be such a better place🙏🙏💖
This is kinda late but congrats on 2M!!! :D
This doc seems informative, smart, and i enjoy his commentary with explanation.
Keep it up GJ
Love your videos and you are a rockstar! When/if I decide to get plastic surgery, I am definitely driving to Detroit to come see you!
"Superman" doesn't have enough discipline to go to a gym. Not so super, dude.
It's saddening yet unsurprising that the Philippines is so lax about plastic surgery. I hope he somehow finds a change of heart and tries a healthier lifestyle.
Hi Dr. Youn, I’m reading your book “Playing God” right now and I am enjoying it very much!! ✌️🔥
✨The title is just perfect✨
I’m loving this already 😂
This reminds me of another guy trying to look like someone. Have you heard of the RUclipsr Oli London? He was on Dr Phil and everything last year. He has had several plastic surgeries to look like Jimin from BTS. Problem with that is that Oli London is Caucasian, not Asian. I'm curious to know what your thoughts are on that one.
Love your channel Dr. Youn!
Thks for speaking against mindless surgeries. It takes pure guts.
I'm concerned about the hero worship and plastic surgery addiction.
So much respect for Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Youn for reminding this guy because yes we’re all positive he’d regret this as he becomes older. While he looked like plastic, he definitely doesn’t look botched, he actually looks good and just needs to work out. This guy needs to take a look at Bretman Rock, a fellow Filipino who’s being the guy he is exactly wishing to be like. This is the right way to be an inspiration to kids, radiate self love and contentment in general.
Dr.Youn Please react to Oli London's plastic surgery fail.Poor boy trynna look like Jimin.
It's sad the times we live in... people getting surgery to look like someone else 🤦🏻♂️🙄

"When that six pack turns into a keg"
That's brilliant xD
I really like the high, medium and low def lettering joke.
Saw this guy on Botched a year or two ago. Unbelievable.
The main feature of Superman is that he can fly and lift heavy objects... Just looks will not make him Superman.. hope he gets that
That dude needs a therapist to check if there is something else behind his wish for transformation. thats far beyond losing weight or having a smaler nose or something like that.
Hi Dr anthony, which is better, thermage or Hifu for lifting and removing wrinkles?thanks
"Human pincushion "- now that's a superhero name that we can call this crazy man. I feel like this is not happening on earth, this has to be a different dimensional reality. I just can't believe that ppl can do soo much damage to oneself just for a wishful idea. 🙄😮😕
Dr Youn's skin glowed like no one is watching when he mentioned lighten the skin 💥
its funny cuzz, it really doesnt take that much effort to look really good, have a good diet, take in a good amount of protein, work out 45 minutes 1 hour about 4 times a week, and you can get so fit in just a year from those nooby gains, +2-3 years and youll look so much better
Even looking like him won't make you fly and a hero
I like how Dr Anthony is serious and funny at the same time
Hi Dr. Youn👋👋 I'm one of your subscribers😄😄 I really love your videos and skin care tips...! Can you make a video on how to remove blackheads on the nose and how to tighten the pores afterwards?🙏🙏🙏 I'm really having trouble with blackheads on my nose 😞😞😞
I don’t know, man…I never pictured Superman with a Mickey Mouse voice.
I want to see Dr. Youn react to Pixie from botched. Some of the surgeries she did were so out there, I'd love to hear his thoughts
for a guy who's had mostly unregulated backstreet surgeries in the Philippines, his face is honestly looking a lot better than some celebrities that pay top dollar.
the superman guy seems like a nice person and i hope hes doing okay
Please tell something about Kojie San Soap Dr Youn please 🥺🙏🏻
The "Low-def etching" got me
