It is not often that you get a surgeon to public admit to not be able to do something. Honest as hell. Loved it.
The surgeons on Botched really do think outside the box to help their patients. Being a doctor is already a very noble field, but helping people like this is a whole different level

Exactly! People like that, so called surgeons, doing that to someone, taking advantage of them like that, that could literally killed them... Truly evil.

Please be sure any doctor (especially surgeon) you allow to touch you is not going to do something like this to you. I hope they can help her.
@@janhankins911 it isn't always as easy. If people don't have a legal and safe way to access healthcare they will go to anyone who'll give them an option, even when it's life threatening.
If my memories are correct, Rajee explains in the episode that when she was young, blackmarket injections were a common thing in the trans community, because people didn't have much money, were often rejected by doctors or didn't want anyone to know, so they chose discrete, illegal and cheaper options.
Dysphoria can be a painful thing and I understand how one would risk anything to be themselves and live a full life. What happened to her is terrible though and the only one to blame is the person who injected dangerous products for money.
That was one of my favourite episodes, Rajee's so bubbly and full of joy, I really hoped the best for her and it happened!

I saw her case on Botched. They were finally able to help her. She has much more confidence now. @@CarrieP1981 They told her whatever she needed to hear to get paid, unfortunately. And unless they've gotten killed by angry customers, jailed for gross medical negligence, or have founf other lucrative ways of taking advantage of people, they're probably still out there, still pulling this shit.
@@CarrieP1981 Actually, I found out that the woman who performed the procedure, Oneal Ron Morris, was indicted and convinced on charges related to black market injections that she administered to other people that resulted in fatalities. Fortunately she'll be out of the public for at least a decade (honestly not long enough in my opinion) with five years probation when she gets out.
This sounds like a stupid question but, why cement?!? I get it, it’s the black market and the “surgeon” obviously doesn’t care about safety or what the results will look like but I just want to know the logic behind this. Do they just inject your face with anything?
Well if it's cheap and doesn't kill the patient before the guy gets paid...
The black market they throw in anything into the body cement, free flowing silicon, or any material that can be injected to create volume. That’s why the surgeries are super cheap.
They use stuff that's cheap, easy to use/access. And it's gonna look good for a while so that tricks people into thinking it's safe and a good idea to go back and get more done. Which is why it causes so many issues people think it's safe and has no negative impact. And remember lots of plastic surgery causes bruising and stuff for a bit so it looks like "normal" side effects.
Desperation and ignorance. Plain and simple. She is lucky she is alive and has a face at all. Your body rejects anything foreign and something like this could have caused her face to literally fall off. She is very very lucky.
@Hafsah Ambreen That could be the case, but the way Dr. Youn made it sound is that it is somewhat common for black market surgeons to use concrete. I’m curious as to why multiple black market surgeons would use concrete out of all things.
Absolutely heartbreaking. This is unfortunately super common in some parts of the Trans community. Bad butt, face, and breast injections can KILL PEOPLE. This type of story, and ladies like Rajee, is why we need to focus on safe, healthy means of transitioning for trans individuals, and make it much less stigmatized. What in the cinnamon fuck toast is wrong with people that they will take advantage of somebody's dysphoria in this way. This just breaks my heart.
I would venture to guess the woman that did this to her knew she was trans and had her own issues with that and so the vile woman injected her with things that she knew would make this poor woman even more disfigured and disgusted with her looks in an attempt to let her hate towards trans people be done sneaky and in a shady way
Because you don’t need to be a doctor of any kind to know this is wrong and sick and evil to do to any one no matter who they are and it was done out of pure hatred for this woman and her transitioning
My thought exactly. Like even if they didn’t agree with the change, they could’ve either turned doing the procedure down or just treated her as they would any other patient. No one should have to go through this

@Raymond Babcock get out. It would have cost you nothing to be a decent person and yet here you are.
@Raymond Babcock I'm not going to waste time arguing with you because I know your type, and even if indulge you, you will continue spewing bullshit. I gain no enjoyment from screeching into the void and so I'm not going to.

Odd, i had the same emotion for the person, without having to specify a special sjw status. Can you feel happy for a person without putting people into their category?

This woman’s inner strength is so incredible! She is so sweet. Her beauty was showing through even with the botched job. I’m so glad they were able to help her!! Some people can be so mean and unthoughtful. But those are the ones I could care less what they say!! Happy for you, Raji!! 😻
@Candace Williams Go do something productive and snitch on Phineas and Ferb
@Candace Williams nope, she’s a woman
@Candace Williams You see they're something called trans while they are biologically male they identify as a woman. So most people who do this get a sex change to make themselves look like the woman they always wanted to be. Also please remember it's rude to call them by their past identities and if your weirded out by it remember to keep it to yourself never show.
@Raymond Babcock no, she’s a woman. Shut your transphobic ass up
@Raymond Babcock it is?? Sick people do sick things
These comments pass the vibe check. Trans people deserve the same amount of respect as anyone else, glad to see nobody being hateful about her being her unique self.
Some of the replies are rather rude and disrespectful
I didn't even know she was trans until I looked at the comments lol

I was just biting in to a Subway sandwich and the bread was soggy on the bottom.
As soon as that soggy bread hit my mouth he referred to that woman's facial skin sloughing off. It almost got me.
Huh
That sure is a thing
"That woman" has a name, it's Rajee. I can't believe someone who takes another person's pain and turns it around to how it affected poor sick you!!!
@@yvonaamariaa I could be completely wrong but I don't think the poster had any ill or malicious intent when he/she made that statement. It's kind of like when you see a little kid that was bullied and you're fully aware of his/her name but you still say something like, "that poor boy/girl/kid..." They don't mean anything bad just because they don't address them by name. It's not like the poster called Raji "it" or "that thing" or anything like that.
@@Kaniwani You know, I think I reacted that way because I know Rajees struggle in life. She's had a real tough time and I just feel for her. She is such a sweet person and I guess I felt bad that someone just trivialised her pain. And you're right I don't think the poster meant any harm. Thank you for pointing that out. God Bless!
I remember this woman it was so upsetting that someone did that to her. I know she did something dangerous but that person is evil that did that to her.
Agreed, so many people on here commenting attacking her for being stupid and being the one in wrong. Meanwhile, she didn’t know what was being used, she felt desperate and went to the first person who claimed they could help. The malicious person who intentionally chose to use at least three types of materials not designed to be put in a human body should take the majority of blame here
@@jessicafreeborn4997 that’s so sad bc I’m sure in those days it was so much harder to transition. I think she just hated her body that much as a man.
She bears some responsibility for going to a non licensed practitioner. The practitioner should obviously be criminally and civilly punished
It's a man, right?
@@DjapDude11111 no, it's not. She's a trans woman
She was so beautiful already. I wish that people wouldn't put so much pressure on transgender people, especially transgender women, that they HAVE TO have plastic surgery to reshape their faces if they want to transition. Plastic surgery should always be something that is made by an educated choice on the part of the patient, without a pressure to feel that they HAVE to do it, especially when transgender people already have so much stress on them about what they must do in order to be who they are. I am not against plastic surgery at all; I am against the kind of pressure that makes people feel like in order to transition they have to consider having an unlicensed "doctor" work on their face in a motel. It's heartbreaking.
I feel so sad that Rajee’s dysphoria was so bad that she got these injections 💔
